Nice rooms in a hotel located in short driving distance to Monterey sites and highway 1. Unfortunately we were greeted in our hotel room by a couple aggressively arguing very in the hotel room next to us, which continued throughout the night before they “made up” equally as loud. Thankfully I’m quite a deep sleeper so slept through this but my partner had the worst nights sleep of our trip here due to this. There is a large parking lot, however you may struggle to find a parking space later at night. Basic but ok breakfast items included hard boiled eggs, yoghurts, pancakes & waffles that could be toasted as well as a machine of fruit juices, tea and coffee. Overall a good motel however significantly impacted by thin walls and other inconsiderate guests.

I want to start my review by saying that some folks can be really harsh in their reviews. There are several reviews on the site complaining that the room entry doors for this hotel are exterior doors. This is true. But it is also true that you should do your research before booking. This hotel does not try to hide the fact the room hallways are exterior. If this is a deal breaker for you then don't book this hotel but it is unfair to book it and then complain about a hotel feature that you should have already known about before hand. My wife and I spent 3 nights here. I had a work conference next door at the Embassy suites. This hotel works great if you have a conference next door but are on a tighter budget than the Embassy Suites. Our room was clean and comfortable. Yes, it is a MINOR annoyance that when you have you curtain opens people may walk past your window but certainly not a deal breaker. We were only in our room and the beginning and end of each day so this did not effect us in the least. The breakfast was full of options to keep everyone in a family happy with plenty of seating. We had a room that faced the back of the property that overlooked a small lagoon. The property is near the freeway but not on the freeway as some reviews stated. We felt safe coming and going throughout our stay. The location was conveniently located to all things to do in Monterey Bay Area. If you are worried about exterior halls and security then you should probably consider other options but this property worked great for us and we would stay again on another visit to the Monterey area.

Nice Inn on the road from LA to San Francisco. Room was quite big, clean and nice decorated. Staff was friendly. Not far away from the beach and also some supermarkets neaby.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my wife while on vacation. Frequent fliers of Embassy Suites, and this location is exactly on par with what you'd expect from the brand. The location of this hotel is fine, with close proximity to a variety of restaurants, a gas station, easy to get to the wharf area in Monterey. We stayed in a standard king room, and it is the typical 2-room suite layout in most Embassy locations. The room as clean, and the bed was comfortable. The shower worked great the first night, but the second night it did not get very hot. It was late, so we did not bother trying the front desk about it. Both TV's in the room were equipped with a Chromecast that had a web portal you could sync a device to. Very nifty being able to cast from our phones, something every hotel should adopt! The breakfast was top notch for a complimentary buffet. Eggs/omelets cooked to order, a variety of other hot and cold breakfast items, juice/coffee/soda, baked goods etc. The happy hour at night (included in the room rate!) was great, and had 2 specialty drinks, beer, wine, and well liquor available. The drinks are very standard, but they are absolutely free! There are also light snacks available. We did not use the pool or gym, though both looked clean. The pool is indoors but did not appear to be heated. One thing to note: parking fee is $20, and there is also a resort fee of $15/night that is charged. The resort fee ”includes” wifi, bike rental, and a $15/credit for the gift shop or restaurant. We figured either way you're paying $15 per day extra, so we used $15 at the gift shop both days for snacks & coffee. There is a Starbucks inside the gift shop which this applies to!

This hotel is located in Seaside city. It's around 5 km from Monterey city center. There is a lot of restaurant and supermarket nearby hotel area. Beach is near the hotel in 10 minutes walk. Parking space is sufficient for number of guest room. Room is large, clean and comfortable. There are microwave, TV, fridge and coffee maker in the room. Toilet is equipped with bathtub and shower. It's noisy in ground floor room because of the upper room walking or doing something in their room. Air condition is heating only. Wifi is quite reliable. Breakfast is served in lobby area. Due to Covid Pandemic, guests have to bring food in the room. Number of choices are acceptable. Recommend this hotel for all type of customer.
