Enchantment Resort

From the point of view of two good friends that travel: While the resort offers some positive attributes like the unbeatable location (proximity to red rocks and trails), prompt golf cart service, refreshed ice buckets during turndown service and multiple dining choices, there are several areas that could use improvement. We encountered recurring issues with bugs in the rooms and felt the staff could be more accommodating, such as suggesting closer options when requesting simple items like ice water. Only one pool had a waitstaff and amenities at pools (sunscreen, water, towel service) were lacking. They provided free water bottles but they weren’t insulated (average temperature during our stay was 95 degrees). These are unnecessary inconveniences given the premium rates. Furthermore, the policy of not allowing off-site excursion operators to pick-up guests on property raised safety concerns and created hassles. To elevate the experience, the resort should look into enhancing staff helpfulness, expanding poolside amenities, improving room maintenance, and revisiting certain policies that impact guest convenience and safety. Addressing these areas could go a long way in providing the high-quality, hassle-free stay that guests expect from a 4-star property ($600+ a night).​​​​ The sister hotel, Mii Amo, offered fantastic amenities; the crystal gratto morning ritual is a must-do experience, and the gym facility, juice bar, and pool are very nice with an incredible waitstaff. However, the spa is overpriced based on our experience vs. others in Arizona. A few items to note: the spa itself is lackluster given the size of the property and the sauna barely worked. Additionally, while the massage therapists were pleasant, during both our experiences, they had a very clumsy bedside manner and less refinement (loud footsteps in the room, rolling of the massage chair). Furthermore, bright fluorescent lights remained on during the services. detracting from the experience.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ For anyone wanting to stay here, do your due diligence and know you won’t get similar amenities to other hotels that are a fraction of the price. I was here last year and had a great time. I came back with some friends because I told them how much fun I had. Unfortunately, I can't say it was even close to my last visit. My friend took a tennis lesson from Grace "a so called tennis professional", she didn't even play high school tennis let alone anything at the pro level. She charged $150 and hour for a tennis lesson!!! What a rip-off. However, most of the trip went well and the food and accommodations were very nice. Went on a hot-balloon ride which was awesome!!! Would love to come back if they get a real tennis pro.

We revisited Enchantment after a 30+ year gap in visits. The resorty continues to improve! Excel;ent facilities in a spectacular setting.

Beautiful location, service is incredible, rooms were perfect. Gorgeous scenery literally everywhere on the resort with some of the craziest restaurant, pool, and pickleball views you can imagine. Only minor complaint is that there are extra fees for lots of the activities (ie. yoga) and you are already paying quite a bit but overall this is a fantastic luxury vacation spot.

Enchantment truly is a 5 star resort. Staff is well trained, gracious, welcoming and helpful. The location is breathtaking and the resort makes the most of it. We can’t recommend it enough, and can’t wait to return.

We were stuck in a Casita that was a long up-hill walk to the clubhouse. We walked past dozens of empty Casitas with beautiful decks that overlooked the red rocks. We had a view of two parking lots! I asked if we could pay extra for a room with a view and was told “it’s luck of the draw…you get what you get”. I explained that it was unfair to pay the same price for a lesser accommodation, much like paying the same amount for a “resort view” when there is “beachfront”. It’s a crime! The facility is understaffed and overpriced….and we’re used to paying Ritz Carlton prices! Would strongly suggest that you stop by for a drink and enjoy the view…..then head back to whatever hotel you choose. You’ll be better off! Upon check-out, nobody even bothered to ask if we enjoyed our stay…..There was a predominant case of indifference among the staff.

Enchantment nailed it on every detail and service! From our welcome to our departure, we were greeted by outstanding individuals on the property. This resort gets it right on every level! We left refreshed and we will definitely return as time permits.

Everything about The Enchantment was wonderful. First. you're in the heart of Boynton Canyon and the views are unreal. I watched the sun rise every morning over the red rocks while enjoying delicious food from the on-site restaurant and market. Our room was luxurious -- very large and comfortable and clean. It was up-to-date and I loved being there... it felt so inviting. The restaurants on-site were fabulous and the spa and golf offers were also outstanding. I loved that we were hiking in the morning and then returning to the main pool in the afternoon to relax. It truly was relaxing because the pool was heated and included full service. The staff were very attentive and made sure guests had what they needed at the pool. Another awesome feature is that there are several smaller, pools throughout the property if you're looking for that. I used the Mii Amo Spa and my massage was wonderful. Truly, this is the most amazing place I've every been and I can't wait to come back!

This is a great hotel and a must visit if you are in Sedona. The views and the staff are all amazing.
