Hotel berhampiran Methodist Church, Seeduwa

Our last day in Sri Lanka and we thought it would be a waste of precious time to stay in a hotel all day !! Absolutely not ! From our welcome, attentive and informative staff, Kapila was particularly brilliant as he helped navigate through a superior menu which included the best Cerviche we've ever eaten, so again at lunch it was ! A wonderful Spa experience followed by a stroll round the gardens, up through the veggie garden and met the three long eared goats Garden and interior design, plus interesting artwork, was a visual delight. Leaf on Lagoon has been a delight. The staff here strive to please. Although the hotel is a little dated it is extremely comfortable and clean. I can't say enough about the staff, absolutely incredible. The food is extremely delicious. I had the opportunity to pick my meal of crab (2 Crab)....approximately 1 pound for 800 Sri lankan rupees ($2,96 CAD). THE chef prepared 1 was curried, and the other boiled. My wide had the broiled fish both meals came with all the fixings...all for approximately $15 CAD. The owner of this hotel/restaurant needs to recognize the asset of his employee are especially his general manager, head chef, and wait staff. I highly recommend Leaf on Lagoon.

Ziegler Cottage was our comfortable home for a few days while we visited Negombo. It is easy to reach from the airport, and you can take tuk-tuks or the bus into Negombo. Our room had a sea view and a balcony with sea breezes making airconditioning unnecessary. The waves were too high for us to swim in the sea but the pool made up for it. Food, especially the fruit selection at breakfast, was very good. Staff were responsive and very hard-working. The hotel can organize trips--our all-day outing to a spice plantation, the Ridee Viharaya Temple, and the elephant park was perfect. Everyone goes out of their way to accommodate your needs. The hotel owner drove us to our destination when our ride did not show up. Thank you for a memorable stay! we look forward to returning.

We were family of 9 The rooms had connecting doors and the scenery and view overseeing the lake was amazing The staffs during check in were not welcoming in comparison with other hotels We literally waited and asked at the counter to whom we shall check in ,till then no one attended The food was great! The chef was making fresh chapathi's just for us continously We didnt manage to take breakfast ,thus breaakfast was packed for us The room was ok The washroom was abit smelly Otherwise ,it was a great stay

Sehr gutes Hotel mit sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Personal. Die Hotelanlage und auch die Zimmer waren sehr gepflegt. Das Essen im Restaurant war hervorragend und preiswert (Lunch und Dinner). Der kostenlose Transfer hat hervorragend gepasst, Fahrzeit ca. 15 Minuten. Ich werde auf alle wiederkommen. Danke a das nette Personal.

We had an amazing holiday in this beautiful resort. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Room was well equipped and comfortable with all the amenities. Nice sea view rooms. This is the best place in negambo if you search a relaxing holiday. Pool and surroundings are amazing. Restaurant staff were friendly and always with a smile. Special thank to chathuranga. Very good hotel at nice location House keeping service should improve

Beautiful facilities, pools and restaurant. Great breakfast, lots of options. Staff are so welcoming and warm, would highly recommend. Can’t comment on location as only stayed for one night, so didn’t explore the area. Rooms, although basic, were big with a huge bath and balcony. Spa treatments great value for money.

晚上到，早上離開的，就吃了早飯，沙灘上轉了一圈，沒去泳池。 房間： 很大，床有兩米寬（後來發現所有jetwing的酒店大床，都是2米大床）、 我們原本要加一張床的，前台小哥建議我們先check房間，再看要不要加床……… 他可以多給一床床單in case三個人一張被不舒服——— 大大的好評。 推開陽台門直麪沙灘大海，幾棵椰樹點綴，濤聲隆隆，心情大好。 房間設施有年頭了，但衞生程度不錯，沒有牙刷提供，因為一樓且靠海，蚊子非常非常非常多，請務必帶蚊子水 早餐不錯，斯里蘭卡餐飲水平很低，一開始覺得一般般，後來走完全程，住了更多更好的酒店之後發現，這裏還不錯———— 重點是這一家非常非常便宜啊！相比起其他動輒1800+ 的jetwing，性價比爆棚了。（當然整體水平肯定是低於jetwing yala 以及lighthouse的）
