Hotel Selcuk dengan Sarapan

I stayed for 3 nights this week and just want to state all the acclaim given in the 5 star reviews is true. I am a solo female from the Midwest in the USA beyond a certain age. I did not want to leave. This was my first stop on my first tour to Turkey. Not speaking a word of Turkish-- not even please or thank you --I was still treated so well and felt so very comfortable in this very beautiful facility. I loved Selcuk and chose this location to visit Ephesus which was easy and economical--I was so grateful I could do so without joining one of the huge tour groups (while I would not discourage anyone from seeing the huge Ephesus site--if time is limited I would skip Ephesus). Take in in Selcuk; spend time in the museum; try the different restaurants and certainly walk up to the top but most of all enjoy Anz Guesthouse, its people and the walks around it. I will forever be grateful to Harry and his son Atti (from the other reviews, I have not done well with either of their names-sorry). They booked a sleeper for me to Konya that I was unable to do myself as well as a hotel that I could not reach.. while they are not a tourist agency they have absolutely given me every reason to love the Anz Guesthouse ...

I'm giving the Nicea 5 stars. The place is very clean, everything works, there are lots of outlets in the rooms, and our room was spacious. The WIFI works well. The staff is welcoming and pleasant. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious. There's a pretty courtyard where you can hang out, drink tea, or eat. Plus, there is a small resident dog that's super cute. It's very close to nice shopping, plus it's easy to go to the big tourist spots from the hotel. There are nice restaurants nearby. Two things of which to be aware: you can't park in front of the hotel. We easily found a spot on the parallel street less than one minute away. Plus, there is no elevator. We asked for a room with a balcony, and it was worth it. We sat out in the evening watching the goings on. We will return there for sure when we return to Selcuk. I loved this place.

Our stay was fabulous. The neighborhood was beautiful as was the hotel. I would like to especially thank Oguzhan for such kind and friendly service. The entire town is full of amazing people. I think everyone shouldvisit selcuk and if you like peacful quiet places stay at Celsus.

the best restaurant in town, the food is excellent, from appetizers to dessert, everything was great, everything was neat and clean, the waiters are very kind and helpful, we will definitely come again, I recommend it to everyone!!!☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️

Outstanding service and friendliness. Made to feel like part of the family and at ease. Great advice given of tours to join and places to visit as well as where to eat…take their advice it is amazing. Room was really comfortable and had everything you would need. It was located in the perfect location to get to where you needed and wanted to go. Really close to restaurants and saint johns church. Breakfast was amazing and the coffee was probably the best I’ve had so far in Turkey! I would definetly stay here again. Thank you for the amazing stay!

Our family stayed with us for two nights in June. Several things struck me about the hotel, including its kind, happy, and well-mannered employees. They were all more than accommodating, and the service was top-notch. My favorite aspect of this establishment is that it provides high school interns with an opportunity to gain experience in the tourism and hotel industries through training internships. The hotel is also conveniently located near a number of wonderful restaurants and historical sites. The service was excellent and the room was spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and there was always a sense of calm when you walked in. There are shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and other essentials waiting in the bathroom for you to use. A delicious breakfast is provided as part of the complimentary service. There was also a variety of homemade jams, olives, cheeses, fresh local products, olive oil, and omelets available, all of which were outstandingly delicious.

I booked a room for 2 people at Boomerang Guest House and paid around our usual price, AUD$45/28 euros a night. Dorm beds were quoted at AUD $19/night. When we arrived at the guesthouse in March 2023,  they said we had booked a dormitory room (mixed dorm) and pointed to some Turkish words on the booking confirmation which,  according to them, said we had booked a dormitory bed for each of us. That was not what was indicated when I went through the booking process, which stated I was booking a room, not a dormitory. The owner stonewalled and said we would have to pay extra to upgrade to a room of our own. That was odd, since the room I booked was the 'last one available' at the time, yet they had at least three spare private rooms. They claim that the problem stems from the fact that they only have a relationship with Expedia and something has gone wrong when they (Expedia) have shared the information with Agoda. At that point I confirmed with him that this same situation had happened before (for months!): he blamed Agoda for using the Turkish words to describe the room.  I said that if this was a situation which had misled people before,  then he needed to be the one to ensure it was fixed. He could easily contact guests beforehand to let them know,  in English,  their reservation was for a dormitory,  until the booking process was fixed. But never did. I contacted him prior to arrival about the check in time but he did not respond (He received the message on WhatsApp via his brother: he made the excuse that the phone number on Agoda is out of date and doesn't go directly to him). Of course, the whole excuse was simply deflection: blame some other third party and avoid accountability. Coincidentally, another person arrived as we were at reception who had experienced the exact same situation. She had booked what she thought was a room for her and her traveling companion but the two young girls were told they were sleeping downstairs in a dormitory with men. Her traveling companion left immediately and the Malaysian girl was left by herself. She booked through Agoda and also felt assured she had booked a private  room.  By then I could see a pattern emerging and thought this could be a scam. Sell a room for a normal price,  then charge more on arrival,  pointing to some Turkish words on the booking which talked about it being a dormitory that we'd unsuspectingly signed up for. When I questioned the owner why the only indication it was a dormitory was written in Turkish,  he said he didn't know and again put the blame on Agoda. I said that given people had been misled even before our arrival,  it was his responsibility to ensure changes to the wording were made. What made it even more suspicious was that when I took him through the process I undertook to make the booking on the Agoda app,  not only did I show him it clearly talked about booking a room, not a bed and no mention of a dormitory,  there were no dorm pictures shown AND even tonight as

Spectacular views especially of the castle from our huge balcony! Fabulous size room and bathroom with extremely comfortable bed. Great shower. Good mix of traditional and modern decor. Extremely helpful and friendly staff, with excellent quality and plentiful breakfast. Only regret is we only stayed for one night but are already planning to return soon.

這個民宿在塞爾丘克的一個山坡上，可以說基本上到山坡的最上邊了，最後一點路要陡一些。從山坡下來就是火車站，也是市中心，走路上山坡需要10分鐘，下山坡需要8分鐘左右。塞爾丘克小鎮不大，聖約翰教堂（城堡）、考古博物館、神廟遺址等都在走路能到的範圍內，幾分鐘就能到了。以弗所遺址距離稍微遠一點，也是更值得去探索的地方，可以乘坐迷你巴士或通過電話在出租車站叫出租車。民俗的兩位夥計，Meili和Okayy，兩位帥哥服務意識都好，Meili熱情，Okayy周到，力所能及的讓客人感到舒適和方便。Meili熱情的接待了我們，很快拉近了我們的距離。Okayy兩次開車送我們到火車站附近，節省了我們不少體力和時間，非常感謝他們的服務。民俗的早餐非常好，雖然簡單，但很用心，餐廳布置的溫馨友好，早上非常涼爽，用餐的心情愉快。房間雖然不大，但是景觀超級棒，落日時看到遠處的海岸、城堡，以及塞爾丘克全鎮。遠處的一個小機場不時有飛機起降，這些夢幻般的景緻，值得那一段小小山坡的困難。另外，鎮上的人民和藹可親，小孩子們熱情大方，老人們閑適，喝茶玩牌，非常愜意的地方。這次時間太緊，下次多待幾天。希望在浴室放一塊防滑墊就更加完美了，這是一點小小的建議。 This guesthouse is located on a hillside in Selcuk, almost at the top of the slope, with the last part of the road being a bit steep. Coming down the hill, you’ll find the train station, which is also the city center. It takes about 10 minutes to walk up the hill and about 8 minutes to walk down. Selcuk is a small town, and attractions like the St. John’s Church (Castle), Archaeological Museum, and Temple Ruins are all within walking distance, just a few minutes away. Ephesus Ruins are a bit further away, but they are definitely worth exploring. You can take a mini bus or call a taxi from the taxi stand. The two hosts of the guesthouse, Meili and Okayy, are both very service-oriented. Meili is enthusiastic, and Okayy is considerate, making sure guests feel comfortable and convenient. Meili warmly welcomed us and quickly became close to us. Okayy drove us to the train station twice, saving us a lot of energy and time. We are very grateful for their service. The guesthouse’s breakfast is excellent. Although simple, it is prepared with care. The restaurant is cozy and friendly, and the mornings are pleasantly cool, creating a delightful atmosphere for dining. The rooms may not be large, but the view is superb. During sunset, you can see the distant coastline, the castle, and the entire town of Selcuk. There is a small airport in the distance, and occasionally planes take off and land, adding to the dreamlike scenery. It is worth facing the difficulties of that little slope for such breathtaking views. Additionally, the people in town are kind and friendly, the children are warm and generous, and the elderly live a leisurely life, enjoying tea and playing cards. It is a very relaxing and pleasant place. Unfortunately, we had limited time this visit, but we will definitely stay longer next time. It would be perfect if they could place an anti-slip mat in the bathroom. This is just a small suggestion.

Hotel is very convenient, 3-4 minute walk from the train station and bus station. Clean room and got everything you need for what you have paid for. Owners are very helpful and informative. Highly recommended! No complaints!
