OVERALL: Hotel is located at the heart of Selcuk town center. It looks like a shop (there is an area in the lobby that displays gemstones that look like it's for sale), they also have a 24 hr reception. Check in is very speedy, I arrived late but there are no issues. On weekends, the market is right outside of the hotel so can get really busy.
AMENITIES: They have a cool looking antique elevator (but it works perfectly), so suitable for travellers with huge suitcases. Staff escorted me to my room and helped with the luggage. The room is nothing fancy, but does what it needs to. Floor feels a bit dusty but the room is well ventilated. It also has a minifridge and air-conditioning which is a plus. As for amenities, they only have a water boiler, and two glasses, body wash and soap are the only things provided in the bathroom.
LOCATION: It's an easy 5-6mins walk from Selcuk Train Station, located among many restaurant, and within 10 mins to the Basilica of St. John / Ephesus Archaeological Museum/ Temple of Apollo. You can also walk 10 mins to Ephesus Minibus that drops you at the ancient city's lower entrance, but it's also possible to walk there. They also can keep you luggage after check out for pick up later.
I don't think they do daily housekeeping but it might just be that they didn't clean my room the night I stayed. There was no card to put at the door to let them know if you want / don't want any cleaning.

Otelin sunduğu kahvaltı çeşitliliği ve kalitesi de beklenenden çok daha iyiydi. Nobel Boutique Hotel, şehirde geçireceğiniz zamanı unutulmaz kılmak için ihtiyacınız olan her şeye sahip. We booked this hotel only to be transferred to their other hotel, Ephesus Centrum which lies in the central of the city. Very convenient as its near the restaurants, shopping area, bus station and taxi stand. Only thing is that maybe the next time when customers booked this hotel, can inform them before hand about the transfer as we actually made our way to this hotel which was quite the distance from the train station and situated uphill. Otherwise, excellent hotel for a night stay. Can improve on the water heating as it was not as hot as we would have liked.

We travel quite a bit and can tell you that Akanthus was one of the best experiences we have ever had, anywhere, in a locally owned and operated boutique-style hotel. The owners (two very kind brothers) and the staff were hospitable and genuinely committed to professional excellence. They have thought of virtually every detail to make their guests have a welcome and comfortable experience. The rooms are nicely decorated and outfitted for modern travelers... and, most importantly, CLEAN. As we were staying for more than a week, we wiped the drawers before putting our things in them... and we found them already completely clean. No negative surprises. Have you ever looked a beautiful green hillside (like in Scotland) and when you get closer you find weeds and thistles? In other words, something that looks good in the photos and then when you get there it is not what you expected. Not this place... Akanthus lives up to expectations. In fact, it _exceeded_ our expectations. Their warm and helpful staff went the ”extra mile” to make sure we had what we needed. As we know, this side of heaven nothing will ever be perfect. That is why I do not write that it was perfect. It was, however, truly professionally excellent. Akanthus is an oasis for all its guests, from check-in to the nightly cake and warm drink, to the daily healthy breakfast and coffee, to the service throughout the day. Their small pool was a welcome place to cool off during hot summer days. We give our highest recommendation to whomever is reading this. Stay here when you go to Ephesus.

Their genuine approach, hard work to personalize your needs, the amazingly cozy and comfort especially on the terrace make ENA Serenity an ideal place to stay while in Selcuk. Location is perfect: around 5 minutes from everything you need from the train station to the taxi stands, restaurants & shopping center. The rooms are spacious , very clean and have coffee/tea maker which provides convenience. Beds are comfortable and there is plenty of space for your clothes. The bathrooms have a gorgeous design that make you want to replicate in your own home. Diana’s kitchen : home made foods, totally organic, everything always made fresh. It’s impossible not to eat everything in your plate but then want more. The breakfasts are scrumptious. The terrace is true nirvana. The sunsets with the soft music, the ambiance, the beauty with the silence provides an unparalleled peace. The little touches they provide such as preparing a sandwich for my early morning tour that made miss my breakfast was a lovely gesture. Over all a 10. Don’t waste your time researching other places to stay. ENA Serenity will be your home away from home.

Yeni hizmet vermeye başladığı için yataklar, çarşaflar, havlular hepsi çok yeni.Efes'e, Meryem ana evine, Şirince ve Kuşadası'na çok yakın bir konumda.Yani Kuşadası hengamesine girmeden burada huzurla, kendi eviniz rahatlığında konaklayabilirsiniz.

We checked in on Friday evening. The dinner is not included to the room rate but it is fine we had a nice experience, the food was delicious. Our room was on where the pool was, and located on the upper floor. The room was clean. On Saturday morning we had breakfast and it was good as well. We found out that the hotel part is rented and operated by some other people. In the afternoon we had the wine tasting which was again enjoyable. During the tasting we saw a police car and then when we asked about the situation we were informed by the waiter that some afgan refugees were seen in hotel area where our room was located. This was not a nice feeling for us and we felt a bit uncomfortable but not so suprised because it is not a gated community. At night when we returned from dinner we entered our room and as soon as we turned on the lights we saw 3 bats. We went crazy! Called the reception asap but it took minutes for someone to come to check the room. And when he came in he has informed that bat was seen in another room before which is totally not my problem!!! Then we asked for another room and again it tooks minutes for him to find the lady who deals with the reservations. Then he told us that they can find a room in one of their hotels in Selcuk-İzmir. We did not accept it and we found a place for ourselves in DoubleTree Hilton. When we were checking out the lady asked us to pay for 2 nights (we were going to stay for 2 nights) and of course we did not accept it and paid only for 1 night and left! They did not even apologize for the situation! It was very unprofessional! I will never again stay in this hotel and will never recommend it to my friends! If you want to go and taste the wine and have dinner that’s OK because we were tokd that the real owners of the YediBilgeler are responsible for those services! It was again very rude of the lady who is at the reception to ask for 2 nights fare and not even apologize for once!

Otelin konumu, açık alanları, restaurant cafe gibi yerleri çok yeterli ve güzeldi. Resepsiyondaki beyefendiler çok güler yüzlüydü. Garsonlar aiçılar hepsi çok sıcak işlerini iyi yapan insanlardı. Sadece animasyon ekibindekiler burnundan kıl aldırmayan, sanırım ortalıkta boy göstermek için otelde bulunduklarını düşünen kızlarımızdı. Bir güler yüz bir merhaba bekliyor insan takıyorlar güneş gözlüklerini sağına soluna bakmadan yürüyorlar. Bir şey soruyorsun duymuyorlar bile. Olumsuz yorum yapmak istemezdim ama çok bariz şeyler olduğu için dikkate almalarının önemli olacağını düşünüyorum. Onun dışında herşey çok güzel ve keyifliydi. Teşekkürler.

PPengguna TetamuStayed here with my brother’s family and had a wonderful time. Rooms were clean, very comfortable, all the amenities you need. The staff was very attentive. The manager went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Enjoyed a drink at their bar. The restaurant had delicious food!! Worked great for our family and my brothers family. Accommodating of out 6 kids! We all enjoyed their breakfast. Central location- cute neighborhood! Would highly recommend this hotel!

LLet’s Go Solo!Outstanding service and friendliness. Made to feel like part of the family and at ease. Great advice given of tours to join and places to visit as well as where to eat…take their advice it is amazing. Room was really comfortable and had everything you would need. It was located in the perfect location to get to where you needed and wanted to go. Really close to restaurants and saint johns church. Breakfast was amazing and the coffee was probably the best I’ve had so far in Turkey!
I would definetly stay here again. Thank you for the amazing stay!

Nisanyan Hotel Sirince Charming hotel with unusual experiences It is a quaint hotel with great character and some idiosyncratic features. It is set on a hill and the individual cottages are built on Elias Steppe - another hill. The gradients are all easy to manage but leave your high heels at home. The staff will obligingly drive up the luggage to your cottage. The cottages are ideal for a family and most have a pleasant sitting area overlooking a nice leafy prospect. The dining patio overlooks the pretty village of Sirince which is particularly alluring at night. If you plan on dinner here, have your phone light ready - the path back to the cottages could be better lighted. During daytime, this is a lovely walk past the swimming pool though I did not see it much used. It is not the typical hotel with standardized conveniences, but its idiosyncratic design makes up with charm, good food, lovely views and a chance to have a quite afternoon in verdant surroundings in the midst of a hectic vacation schedule.

AAree這個民宿在塞爾丘克的一個山坡上，可以說基本上到山坡的最上邊了，最後一點路要陡一些。從山坡下來就是火車站，也是市中心，走路上山坡需要10分鐘，下山坡需要8分鐘左右。塞爾丘克小鎮不大，聖約翰教堂（城堡）、考古博物館、神廟遺址等都在走路能到的範圍內，幾分鐘就能到了。以弗所遺址距離稍微遠一點，也是更值得去探索的地方，可以乘坐迷你巴士或通過電話在出租車站叫出租車。民俗的兩位夥計，Meili和Okayy，兩位帥哥服務意識都好，Meili熱情，Okayy周到，力所能及的讓客人感到舒適和方便。Meili熱情的接待了我們，很快拉近了我們的距離。Okayy兩次開車送我們到火車站附近，節省了我們不少體力和時間，非常感謝他們的服務。民俗的早餐非常好，雖然簡單，但很用心，餐廳布置的溫馨友好，早上非常涼爽，用餐的心情愉快。房間雖然不大，但是景觀超級棒，落日時看到遠處的海岸、城堡，以及塞爾丘克全鎮。遠處的一個小機場不時有飛機起降，這些夢幻般的景緻，值得那一段小小山坡的困難。另外，鎮上的人民和藹可親，小孩子們熱情大方，老人們閑適，喝茶玩牌，非常愜意的地方。這次時間太緊，下次多待幾天。希望在浴室放一塊防滑墊就更加完美了，這是一點小小的建議。
This guesthouse is located on a hillside in Selcuk, almost at the top of the slope, with the last part of the road being a bit steep. Coming down the hill, you’ll find the train station, which is also the city center. It takes about 10 minutes to walk up the hill and about 8 minutes to walk down. Selcuk is a small town, and attractions like the St. John’s Church (Castle), Archaeological Museum, and Temple Ruins are all within walking distance, just a few minutes away. Ephesus Ruins are a bit further away, but they are definitely worth exploring. You can take a mini bus or call a taxi from the taxi stand. The two hosts of the guesthouse, Meili and Okayy, are both very service-oriented. Meili is enthusiastic, and Okayy is considerate, making sure guests feel comfortable and convenient. Meili warmly welcomed us and quickly became close to us. Okayy drove us to the train station twice, saving us a lot of energy and time. We are very grateful for their service. The guesthouse’s breakfast is excellent. Although simple, it is prepared with care. The restaurant is cozy and friendly, and the mornings are pleasantly cool, creating a delightful atmosphere for dining. The rooms may not be large, but the view is superb. During sunset, you can see the distant coastline, the castle, and the entire town of Selcuk. There is a small airport in the distance, and occasionally planes take off and land, adding to the dreamlike scenery. It is worth facing the difficulties of that little slope for such breathtaking views. Additionally, the people in town are kind and friendly, the children are warm and generous, and the elderly live a leisurely life, enjoying tea and playing cards. It is a very relaxing and pleasant place. Unfortunately, we had limited time this visit, but we will definitely stay longer next time. It would be perfect if they could place an anti-slip mat in the bathroom. This is just a small suggestion.

We stayed here one night the first week of May -- and wished we could have stayed another! It's a beautiful, contemporary hotel -- our room had a balcony overlooking St. John's Basilica -- it was really pretty incredible. The room was spacious and comfortable. The first floor is a coffee shop, and the staff is warm and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and substantial. We drove over to the Ephesus site, which is quite close, in the late afternoon, and then ate dinner back in Selcuk, which is a lovely town. We strolled over to the Basilica in the morning, and hated to leave. The street our room faced was pretty busy with buses and cars when we arrived, and I worried it might be noisy, but it quieted down in the evening, and was quite quiet at night. This is a really nice hotel.

Ccy12315I stayed for 3 nights this week and just want to state all the acclaim given in the 5 star reviews is true. I am a solo female from the Midwest in the USA beyond a certain age. I did not want to leave. This was my first stop on my first tour to Turkey. Not speaking a word of Turkish-- not even please or thank you --I was still treated so well and felt so very comfortable in this very beautiful facility. I loved Selcuk and chose this location to visit Ephesus which was easy and economical--I was so grateful I could do so without joining one of the huge tour groups (while I would not discourage anyone from seeing the huge Ephesus site--if time is limited I would skip Ephesus). Take in in Selcuk; spend time in the museum; try the different restaurants and certainly walk up to the top but most of all enjoy Anz Guesthouse, its people and the walks around it. I will forever be grateful to Harry and his son Atti (from the other reviews, I have not done well with either of their names-sorry). They booked a sleeper for me to Konya that I was unable to do myself as well as a hotel that I could not reach.. while they are not a tourist agency they have absolutely given me every reason to love the Anz Guesthouse ...

It's a small, home-like hotel, with a the most welcoming spaces. Nina, our host, was especially attentive and helpful. She made sure that we had everything we needed, and she was always happy to answer our questions. She even went out of her way to help us book the taxi for visiting Ephesus ancient city & Mary’s house. The hotel itself is charming and cozy. It feels like a home away from home. Our room was very comfortable, and the bathtub is to die for. Why Ibri Hotel is Selçuck’s best accommodation option: 🌺 The breakfast is included in the fee. 🌺 The hotel is close to many historical sites, such as Ephesus and the House of the Virgin Mary (request a round-trip ride with Amir for only 30€ ) 🌺 It’s walking distance from Selçuck’s Castle and the Train Station 🌺 The hotel is a great value for the price.
