Hotels Near Baeksasil Valley in Seoul

It's old, but quiet and great for a rest! Hongje Station is a 10-15 minute walk away, and you can take a walk along Hongjecheon right after getting off the hotel! It's a bit disappointing that the indoor pool is currently unavailable, but the hotel service, old-fashioned hotel facilities, and soft bedding make up for it all. I recommend it for a fall vacation!

Well enough. The location is great. It takes 10 minutes to walk to Gyeongbokgung Palace and within walking distance to Myeongdong Bukchon. There are a lot of things to eat around The room is somewhat old. An old hotel, no matter how well maintained it is, it is still a bit old, especially the fact that the bathroom only has a bathtub is a real detractor. The TV is also very old

Hotel is located near anguk station. Just a little 5mins walk from the hotel. very near insadong and many food places. Below the main hotel there are some retail shops and restaurant & GS25(but it seems like the GS25 there is automated cashier or something because you cant jus go in as you wish). But there is another nearby GS25 jus a few abt 2 mins walk down on the way to subway. Did not take the airport bus because I was rushing for time. Although the Hotel told me that it will be a 5mins walk, but I personally would not recommend if you have big large suitcases because you got to pass through humans as that area is pretty busy in the day. But it is still convenient if you want to take and a much cheaper option. (i would recommend if you take airport bus if you arrive late night) Hotel room is big and clean & there is mountian view too! Never expect it from a city hotel. I requested for a high floor and was glad they accede to my request. However, I think i requested for a standing shower room too last minute, thus, they still assign me a bathtub room. But thats ok, I just make do with it. Basic amenities all provided (except disposable ones due to korea's law) They are quite strict with check in time, but I manage to store my luggage at their lockers and did a wash up before heading out for lunch. So if you arrive early, do prepare some small travel cleanser or a fresh clothes in your bagpack so that you wont have to dig your luggage. overall, im quite happy with my stay and would definitely consider coming back to this hotel.

Overall the stay was pleasant. The location was great and the customer service was top notch. My husband requested a room with a good view cause it was my birthday trip and they gave us the view of the temple which was very nice and the best facing room. The rooms and toilet in general were a bit small and breakfast options were repetitive and limited. I wish they would change it or have more options.

This hotel was incredible clean, modern and quiet. We had check in at 1 am and it was so fast. Stuff is so kind and always help us with everything. I asked them to call a taxi to the airport and also asked for umbrella sometimes. They can speak english as well as korean. Room is very clean and stuff did the cleaning everyday. The hotel located in very nice area, about 5 min to Insadong and 10-15 min to palaces (Chanddeok and Gyunbbok). We went by subway just 3-4 times, because everything is close and we didn’t need any transport. But you can go by bus as well, there is a bus station close to the hotel. We worried so much because it was our firs time in Korea, but everything was amazing in this hostel: safety, location, stuff, cleaning, room.

Excellent service. I had my foot ripped off and need an adhesive tape. I made the request at Room Chat and they sent me within 5 minutes. On another occasion, we need to go Sanchon for dinner appointment but couldn’t be able to get any urber or taxi on apps, so we tried to ask hotel front desk. Their staff arranged taxi for us within 10 minutes. Highly commendable for their efficiency and “can-do” attitude! The only setback is breakfast only serves until 10:30am. Would be great if all day breakfast is available as leisure travellers do not have tight schedule and tend to wake up late.

Due to a mistake in my reservation on Trip.com, I was unable to check in to the hotel I had originally booked, so I spoke to the person in charge directly by phone and ended up staying at Sanbee Hotel. In the end, I was very satisfied with the clean and spacious room. I think the problem was dealt with quickly, but I only lost about 2 hours, so that was disappointing, even though I arrived on an early flight. The hotel front desk staff were very kind and spoke Japanese. The location is within walking distance of Jonggak Station and Anguk Station. I used different hotels depending on my destination. It was very convenient.

I have paid money high for small room . i booked for family. but they did not understand & after confirming the booking i have sent them message even they did not respond. i dont want to recommend this hotel for other visitor. there is only sampoo, there no soap , there is no brush , there is no toothpaste but they recived big amount of money . 저는 작은 방에 비싼 돈을 지불했습니다. 저는 가족을 위해 예약했습니다. 하지만 그들은 이해하지 못했고, 예약을 확인한 후 메시지를 보냈지만 그들은 답하지 않았습니다. 저는 다른 방문객에게 이 호텔을 추천하고 싶지 않습니다. 샴푸만 있고 비누는 없으며, 칫솔도 없고, 치약도 없는데 그들은 엄청난 돈을 받았습니다.

The location of the accommodation is very good. It is convenient to travel back and forth to the airport by limousine bus line 6011, Changdeokgung stop. It is near the subway station, Anguk Station (orange line) and Jongno 3-ga Station (blue, orange and purple lines). It is located in Ikseondong, which is full of shops, restaurants and cafes. You can walk to Changdeokgung, Bukchon and Insadong. The room is decorated cutely. There are complete amenities. Smart TV can watch Netflix and YouTube. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment. It is a little disappointing that the sink does not have a sponge for washing dishes. 🥲 The plugs in the room are only Korean (2-prong round head). Don't forget to bring a converter with you. The hotel does not have a front desk. You have to contact via email and chat, so it is a little inconvenient. There is also hair on the floor that is not cleaned properly. But overall, I am very satisfied. It is a comfortable and relaxing stay.

hotel is located up an alley but the best part is that its just beside ikeon dong where you can find authentic korea jiggae. solsot is also less than a min walk. its far from anguk station where the airport shuttle bus is. at night its dark on the street. hot bath at basement and washer (4000 won), dryer (4000 won) and detergent (1000 won) are fabulous, but note that note changing machine only dispense 500 wons instead of notes and coins. so go to reception counter to change bigger notes to 10,000 won so you dont end up with tons of 500 wons. water purifier located at level 10 and you need to ask, else counter staff wont tell you. save your shopping spree to Hongdae as Ikeon dong jewelry is 3x more expensive than Hongdae. didn't need to eat buffet at hotel because there's authentic korean soup stuffs at insadong (10min walk) which are open as early as 730am. wont recommend solo female traveller due to the dark alley and drinking street on a Fri night along the alley. multiple exit at the station with no elevator access and difficult to find hotel location if you exit wrongly. if you need washer and dryer, then this hotel is highly recommended. staff allow free early check in if i join accor free membership on the spot, i appreciate the early check in service. shower area very small.
