Ulasan Hotel Tirol Gangnam

It's fairly close to both location that I want to go which is the Chungmuro Art Theater and Spacehakdong where I went for a fansign event. And the price is pretty good and the space is huge for just one person so I feel pretty comfortable. Only thing is the sink and toilet wasn't as clean so that's the only minus point.

Good location, 3 minutes to the subway station. The room was clean and comfortable, the hotel provided all the necessary amenities. Hotel staff speak in English. Wi-Fi didn’t work well in my room.

The location is great. From Incheon Airport, you can take bus 6009 to Sinsa Station and walk for about 5 minutes to reach the hotel. The geographical location is quite good. The hotel has a main building and an annex. The annex seems to be right next to a KTV, so there's a strong smell of smoke, especially near the elevator on the first floor. The key card for the room isn't very responsive either; you have to swipe it many times. However, it's quite close to Apgujeong and Itaewon, so the location is indeed excellent. That said, nearly 800 a night on a weekend feels a bit pricey for the value.

Everything was good, and the staff were very easy to communicate with! The only downside to the location is that it's not soundproof. If you're a light sleeper or have a bit of a nervous breakdown and can't tolerate any noise at night, it's best to request a room far from the elevator. However, even far from the elevator, there can be a rumbling sound, which makes it hard to sleep. I'm not sure where the noise came from, maybe it's because the doors aren't soundproof. The one good thing is that the hotel staff were very communicative and kindly helped me switch rooms!

The location is fantastic, really convenient and saves a lot of time. It's just a 2-3 minute walk from Sinsa-dong Exit 4, definitely not as far as 10 minutes. No stairs to climb, just straight roads. There's a 7-Eleven and a GS25 convenience store right downstairs. Even when the subway stops at midnight, if you're coming back after 11 PM from a concert, it doesn't feel deserted at all. There are many restaurants around Sinsa-dong subway station. The only downsides are that the hotel facilities are a bit old, there was hair on the comb, and the sheets weren't neatly made. However, it's a good value for the price.

The room was very clean, and the surrounding area offered excellent transportation links.

If you arrive early, you can directly store your luggage opposite the front desk. The hotel provides fresh drinking water and changes the trash daily. The room is spacious and includes a small refrigerator. The bathroom is also large, with quick and strong hot water. The hotel is located very close to the subway and airport shuttle bus, though there's a slight incline to get there. There are many convenience stores nearby. When checking out, just hand the room card to the front desk.

It's conveniently located near the subway station, and there's a 7-Eleven close by.

Hotel Tirol was a nice stay. Located in a nice city area with restaurants and convenience stores. The staff was very nice and you can leave your luggage in the front lobby after you've checked out if you want to go out and about. I would stay here again.

The gentleman at the front desk provided excellent service; he even walked me to the elevator, concerned I might get lost. Unfortunately, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. It was just a spring mattress without a proper mattress topper, making it far too hard to sleep on. Moreover, the bathroom sink was quite low, and I found hairs from a previous guest, indicating that the cleaning was not thorough.

For the price, it's acceptable. The bed was really uncomfortable and there was a lot of noise. However, I'd still book it again because the hotels in the area are all pretty similar, and this one is the cheapest.

Pro- Great Location, near Sinsa subway, and much choice of places to eat. Con- a Bed mattress is hard as rock that how can anyone get a sleep is beyond me. And the smell of smoke is very intense.

I don't like writing negative reviews, however I didn't find anything to like about Hotel Tirol. I think this is because accommodation for when I stayed in Seoul seemed very expensive. AUD$170 for one night in a 3 Star Hotel seemed excessive, but it appeared to be good value compared to other hotels. Overall I didn't like Hotel Tirol.
