Ulasan Fairfield by Marriott Seoul

Facilities: The room was very clean and tidy, and the city view outside the window had a unique Korean charm ✨. I really enjoyed watching the railway below, with subways passing by and lovely yellow flowers – it was so beautiful ✨ (some reviews mentioned noise, and there is a bit, but the beautiful view makes it worth it 🤭; personally, it didn't affect my sleep). There's a CU convenience store right downstairs, where I bought some really cute fridge magnet souvenirs. It was also a great option for a late-night snack every day 😋. Plus, there's a Haidilao hotpot restaurant on the hotel's mezzanine level 🤣, perfect if you're not a fan of Korean food. Downstairs, there's also a bus stop with direct buses to Incheon Airport. Across the street from the hotel, you'll find 인생네컷 (Life Four Cuts photo booth), Olive Young, Mega Coffee, and a jewelry store with walls full of earrings, among others. Just across the road from the hotel entrance is a food street; every place looked so delicious as I walked by 😭. Unfortunately, I was traveling alone this time, and with most places serving BBQ and potato and pork bone soup, I didn't get to try them. Located in Yeouido, it's very convenient to get to Hangang Park and Hongdae. Other attractions aren't far by taxi either. The front desk lady even proactively helped me call a taxi, which I really appreciated!

The hotel was ok. Not bad. the room was little crammed. Kinda small but it was very clean. Cleaning service was very good . The location was ok. Not bad. There is no restroom on the first floor or lobby.

The room was quite spacious, which is a great deal for this price in Seoul. Most importantly, the location is excellent. It's not as congested as Myeongdong, and right outside, there's a fantastic local food street. It's not one of those tourist traps; you'll see mostly locals eating there, and every place serves delicious food.

Small room with all the basic things provided. Ideal for solo traveller but less space for luggage for couple. The round glass table is taking up a lot of space. It is better to use square or smaller one.

The hotel is conveniently located next to subway yeungdongpo But The noise from the train tracks is so bad that I could not sleep well.

The hotel's location is really good. The airport shuttle goes directly to it, and it's not a long walk from Yeongdeungpo subway station. There are plenty of food and drink options across from the hotel, and an Olive Young just around the corner. As previous reviews mentioned, the double room is indeed close to the train tracks, but there's some soundproofing. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to reconsider. I was out early and back late, so I was so tired at night that I slept right through it and didn't find it too disruptive. For sensitive sleepers, I'd recommend earplugs. The room isn't huge; there isn't enough space to lay out two suitcases on the floor, but it was cleaned very well every day. For a holiday period, the price offers excellent value for money.

I went to Seoul, and this hotel is conveniently located next to Yeongdeungpo Subway Station (Blue Line 1), with Lotte Department Store right beside it and a food street across the road. There's also Yeongdeungpo Market nearby, similar to Gwangjang Market, though prices were quite high during the May Day holiday. I'd recommend traveling during off-peak seasons in the future. Oh, and remember to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste, as they're not provided in the room.

The location in Yeouido is pretty good, close to the subway exit. But!! The standard room we stayed in had no door for the toilet. The sink, toilet, and shower were separated, but why was there no door for the toilet stall? There's a sliding door between the bedroom and the washroom, but the material is very flimsy, and it shook so much that I, an adult, got my hand caught twice. The room was already small, and they squeezed in a coffee table, making it hard to even walk around. There was no trash can in the bedroom either. The slippers were so thin they were transparent—is this the Marriott standard? I recommend going to GMS across the street instead. Although the rooms there aren't huge either, they don't have nearly as many issues. (I've stayed at both hotels, and comparatively, I really don't recommend this one.)

We woke up everyday with insect bites. We have feedback to the hotel staff during our stat and they merely just brush it off by saying “ okok will do housekeeping”. However, nothing change. In terms of hotel location, it is quite okay just the cleanliness is questionable

The hotel is next to a giant train station. So from 5am till midnight, there'll be trains going right beside the hotel nonstop. Earplugs won't really help so travellers beware..

It was too close to a busy train station. The noise caused by the trains affectsleep.

Is a budget hotel under mariott, Please be ready, super small room, big luggage can’t fit in. After showering, the water from the toilet will flow out. The only good thing is cheaper.

Receptionist was not service oriented and unprofessional. Got irritated when ask to keep the laptop bag with my laptop. Hotel's lobby was used as luggage storage which makes the lobby very narrow.

The hotel is conveniently located near Yeongdeungpo Subway Station, making it easy to get around the city. There is also a Lotte shopping mall right next to the hotel. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and the bed was comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. There are plenty of restaurants opposite the hotel too. Found the best Korean seafood pancake and blueberry makgeoli there. Will be back for more!
