I think your experience at this place will depend a lot on the room you get. Check-in was easy, and I was happy to be on the women's floor. Then I opened my room, took two steps inside... splash splash. The floor was flooded. My shoes, sheets and even the mattress were soaked. The AC above the bed had apparently been leaking for days. I called the staff expecting to be moved to another room, but I was told the hostel was fully booked and they'd give me another room the next day. So I spent my first night in a flooded room. I put buckets under the AC, tried to mop up the water with towels, and spent the night listening to the constant dripping. With the bed soaked and the room flooded, I sat on a dry spot and waited. The next morning I went to reception as soon as the staff arrived, thinking, "Finally, it's over." It wasn't. The guy had no idea what had happened. I had to explain everything again, only to be told there were no rooms available and the repairman couldn't come until the next day. Instead of changing my room, I was given more towels and another bucket and told to spend another night there with the AC turned off. Since it was over 30°C outside, the room became unbearably hot. At that point I honestly wondered if I should just leave. But I had to collect my two 23 kg suitcases from a nearby luggage storage that day, so moving to another hostel wasn't really an option. Thankfully, after two terrible nights (I got ill) I was finally moved to another room, and the difference was huge. The AC worked, nothing leaked, the room stayed cool, and I had no issues for the rest of my stay. That's why I really believe your experience here depends almost entirely on the room you're assigned. What disappointed me the most wasn't even the leak itself, it was the lack of communication and urgency. Every staff member I spoke to seemed completely unaware of the situation, so I had to explain everything again from the beginning. Considering the room was literally flooding, I expected a quicker response. From talking to other guests, I don't think I was the only one dealing with AC issues, so I really hope the management starts paying more attention to maintaining them. As for the shared spaces, I wasn't expecting luxury. Still, I found the common areas a bit unclean. The food bin was almost always overflowing and the shared cutlery always felt greasy, so I'd recommend bringing your own. The water dispenser and microwave were useful, though. The shared bathrooms were acceptable, but during my stay only 1 of the 3 toilets was really usable. The showers worked, but privacy is... let's say "limited." The curtains don't fully cover the shower area, so it's basically 1 person at a time if you want any privacy. Thankfully, the other girls were always respectful. One thing I genuinely liked was the location. There are several bus stops within a few minutes' walk, making it easy to reach popular neighborhoods. I mostly used the bus because it was more convenient than the metro. Just keep in mind that buses heading back in the evening can be very crowded. During the monsoon season, bus routes may also be shortened because of flooding. The neighborhood itself is really nice. There are plenty of cafés, convenience stores etc. The café next to the hostel closes late and has nice waffles. In the end, I don't think it's a bad place, but it needs better management. My stay went from one of the worst hostel experiences to a perfectly enjoyable one just by changing rooms. So my advice is simple: if you're travelling light, I'd say it's worth taking the gamble because changing hostels is always an option if something goes wrong. But if you decide to stay here, report any issue with your room as soon as possible, because getting it solved may take longer than you expect. Close to the station, it was just the minimum size needed for a solo traveler. The shared space had a full kitchen, water dispenser, and microwave. There's also a fridge in the room. The air conditioning works, but for heating, there's only a small heater, so it got a bit chilly at night. For this price, staying near Seoul Station is definitely good value for money.

For its price, I was quite satisfied. However, the self check-in process was a bit unusual, and if you're experiencing it for the first time, it can be a bit tricky to figure out. You grab papers from a table at the entrance, find your name, and read the instructions in English. The conditions were good – a clean room, working air conditioning, and a small fridge, which I liked. The shower and toilet are shared on the floor; the toilets were clean, but the mirrors in the bathroom weren't great, though that's minor. There's stable WiFi, which is important to me. I'd happily return if I'm traveling on a budget!

Pros: Convenient location, close to the metro, bus stops, shops, and restaurants. The room either had a window or air conditioning, and mine even had a shower. The WiFi was very fast, there were no insects, and towels were provided. Cons: It was dirty. My room didn't have a window and had a strong musty smell. The shower drain was constantly clogged, causing water to build up. The air conditioning blew out an unpleasant smell. The blanket, bed, and pillow also had an unpleasant odor. On the second day, one of the toilets got clogged. The kitchen and microwave were dirty.

Absolutely terrible, do NOT stay here. On the day we stayed, there was a power outage, so we couldn't even get hot water. Mold was everywhere, and the entire place was incredibly dirty. The floors were even cracked. The power outage was never resolved, and we didn't get any refund, making it feel like a complete scam. The experience was awful. The staff were absent most of the time and had terrible attitudes.

Due to visa issues, I couldn't travel. I contacted the host a week in advance, but they refused to issue a refund! This is such a rip-off!

For the price, it’s really good. The room is small, but it does the job. The self check-in system is very convenient, especially if you arrive late. It’s also located on a bus line from the airport, which makes it very practical.

Sad is :The Kitchen and shower is under construction (when I stayed….) And mattress *bed is bad!hope boss will change it in the future!(btw..Staff(green) is so nice and friendly!

The subway is conveniently located nearby, which is a plus. However, the room is tiny; if you have a lot of luggage, there really won't be enough space. It's like a goshiwon (cram school dorm) room in Korea.

This place is falling to pieces. It's disgustingly dirty. The photos don't match real life. Don't go there. The owner is a scam. I booked 3 nights but stayed one. He doesn't want to give me back my money. The room is not safe. There is mold. I didn't fit in the bed. No AC. Holes in the wall. Blood on the floor in the toilet. Look at the photos. I would run away from there. I have a rash on both legs because something bit me. The kitchen and shared toilet were never cleaned before. Full of noisy and dirty Chinese people. Be careful, don't go! The owner scammed people!

The best stay I’ve been too so far, everything is local and easy too get too, staff are really nice and friendly. I will be returning here again!

+ Good location 👍🏻 + Compared to shared rooms I stayed at other places, this single room was peaceful for me.  + There is an elevator which is also good because lots of guesthouses don't have elevators. - Shower room is uncomfortable for me. (Though I know that type of showers are very common in Korea and maybe a part of the culture, I just wanted to mention it for other foreign people which may feel uncomfortable.) Showers are next to each other in the same room, seperated by the curtains. - Kitchen and the room was a bit dirty. The chair in the room had stains on it. It would be a better accomodation experience if the property were cleaner.

Great location, with a subway station and bus stops nearby. The room is tiny, like a goshiwon (a type of small, affordable room often found in Korea), only suitable for one person. The entire check-in process is self-service, making it ideal for a quick one-night stay.

Extremely dirty and the environment is terrible. The room door couldn't even be locked. It's worse than a youth hostel.
