Ulasan Hotel Skypark Myeongdong 2

The room was clean and the location was incredibly convenient – those are undeniable advantages. However, while I could overlook the small room size, the television was also tiny, which was truly unexpected. I haven't seen a TV that small in years! If the hotel were to upgrade their televisions, the overall experience would surely be better, especially considering it's a room priced at over a thousand yuan per night.

Small but super convenient location. Currency exchange spot right outside too. I would recommend!

The location is super convenient, right in the heart of Myeongdong. There's a night market with street food in the evenings, and Lotte Department Store Myeongdong is just across the street. It's also very close to Euljiro 1(il)-ga Station on Subway Line 2, making it easy to get around.

Choosing this hotel was the biggest mistake of my trip to Seoul. I was mentally prepared for the small room, but the main issue was the air conditioning vent blowing directly onto the head of the bed. The room was cold, and when I turned on the AC, it smelled heavily of dust. The next day, I woke up with a sore throat and a fever, which ruined the rest of my trip...

location and customer service really good but hotel looks a bit old and there is no free toothbrush, comb, etc.. need to buy in vending machine or nearest convenience store

The location is very convenient. However, the air conditioning in the room couldn't heat, so it was a bit cold in winter, and the soundproofing wasn't great either. On the bright side, the front desk service was excellent.

Great location and great service. If I visit Seoul next time , definitely stay here again.

The location is fantastic, right out the door and a left turn leads directly to Myeongdong's main street. The room, although a bit small, was a family room with a 1.5m and a 1.0m bed, which could be pushed together. This was really great for families with kids. Honestly, apart from the slightly poor soundproofing, everything else was perfect. There's a Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk, so you don't have to worry if you don't speak English or Korean. There's a 7-Eleven right next door, and the room has a mini-fridge, so you can confidently buy drinks. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. Lotte Department Store is just across the street from the hotel, and a short walk further brings you to Shinsegae Department Store, making it convenient to pop back to the hotel for a rest when you're tired from shopping.

Nice bed. Toilet is big n clean. But wifi is unstable most of the time got cut off.

We arrived about an hour before check in and the room was ready so front desk let us check in but the first room we were assigned to smelled musky and like mildew. Front desk immediately assigned us a new room. Also the breakfast was just okay. Very odd selection of foods. Everything was cold even the espresso was like warm. The location was amazing but it was just okay.

Do not make reservation room if you think the parking is included in the price, IS NOT, cash only  20k won. Also. Is very expensive during holidays, and if you need to rake TAXI to see FIREWorks Festival. You will feel disappointed and irritated because the taxi would  NOT TAKE you close to event for you to walk for 40 minutes. BECAUSE everything special is around the river and hotel is almost five miles or 8.5 km away. Also. The hotel is divided in cast levels because you have to walk in the rain to next building to have breakfast or park. They will tell you drive around the city if you intend to back up your car only five meters.  They would not assist you to ensure safety but they are happy to take your cash money for parking which its advertised available. The Hotel is OK, if you want to use as LOVE motel because has manny drinking bars and you can see a real Korean Drama show performed by visitors or locals. It’s not suitable for a family. The restaurants are very expensive and it is not suitable for young travelers. Drinking its plenty if an individual is alcoholic which it reminds of 42 street in NY during 80’s. By the way, I was lucky having my car, if NOT, my family trip would be disappointed and miserable.  We spent for one day trip $ 1 K and almost a disaster for not being able to see fireworks festival on the river, but we were saved having our car. BY THE WAY Seoul is beautiful and plan accordingly. Good luck!

Convenient location

The location is right in the Myeongdong shopping area! But the room is extremely small! And it's not just small; the window faces directly onto the corridor, so there's absolutely no sunlight! It feels very claustrophobic 😡😡😡 and it's also quite old and dated.
