Ulasan Hotel Irene City

The room's a bit small but it's fine for a stay, the hotel has all the amenities you need, plus it even has a heater. This is already my second time here!

Location is perfect. Near subway, bus stations and resraurants. Walkable to myeongdong. Very friendly receptionist and unlimited bathroom supplies. Free coffee and tea also.

Great location in the vibrant heart of Seoul! The room was excellent, and the bathroom was spacious! My only complaint: it was cold in the room and the heating wasn't working.

It's great if you're a solo traveler on a budget and you can walk to the city center.

Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided in the room. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, towels (face towels), and soap can be picked up from the front desk as needed. As I do laundry when traveling, having a washing machine and dryer available was very helpful. The bathroom has a bathtub, but no shower curtain, so I bought one from a 100-yen shop and brought it with me (there is a curtain rod). The hotel is close to the station, and there are many restaurants nearby. The Chocho Chicken in front of City Hall Station sells 6-piece chicken sets (takeout only), which is perfect when you're a little hungry!

Hotel Irene City is a fantastic choice if you want to be right in the middle of the action in Seoul. The location truly cannot be beaten, making it incredibly easy to get everywhere. However, be prepared for a very small room, which significantly impacts comfort. The major drawback is the size of the room. It is quite small, even for one person. We found it difficult to move around, and there was hardly any space for luggage. Trying to fully open a suitcase (a vali) on the floor was nearly impossible, forcing us to constantly step over it. This hotel is best for travelers who prioritize a prime location above all else and only need a clean, safe place to sleep. If you need space, comfort, or room to spread out your belongings, you should probably look for a different hotel.

The front desk person is really nice and accommodating. The location is also really good, accessible to all if you want to go shopping in Myeongdong, have food trip, and you can save a lot of money because the accommodation/hotel is affordable but at the same time it offers safety and comfort that you need during a vacation. I stayed here for 8 nights and I loved it. I will definitely choose to stay here again in my next Seoul, Korea trip. 💜🇰🇷

I had an issue with the loud noise of the room next door I told them about it and they didn’t do anything about it for three nights

Upon entering our room (818), the smell of cigarette smoke welcomed us. I called the attention of the staff immediately because I specifically requested a non-smoking room, however apparently there are no other available rooms and all rooms are apparently non-smoking room. We tried to rid of the smell of cigarette smoke by opening the door for quite sometime but still the smell is the same. Thus, we opted for early check out date and moved to a different hotel.
