Hotel is located around 5 mins walk from main subway, Chungmuro. It is not walking distance to Myeongdong, it is 1 station away. The room is clean and we are glad there's 3 good size single bed (Seoul hotel bed sizes are quite small). Right beside the hotel there's a row of few BBQ shop - super good but long queue - patronized by mostly local. Worth the wait, good price compare to Myeongdong - around won15,00 per beef set. At Chungmuro - many more food and shops available. For the price, Hotel PJ is good option for us. Take note that the Airport Limo (Won17,00 per pax to airport) time schedule provided by the hotel is not most accurate as the list states last bus leave at 19:55 but truth is there a lot of available timing - best to refer to airport limo website and route. Breakfast is reasonably good.

위치 : 우선 충무로역 바~로 앞에 위치해서 접근성 아주 좋았어요! 역에서 내리자마자 그냥 바로 있어서 찾기 쉬웠구요, 지하철로 이동도 편했습니다. 또 근처에 먹을 것도 많아서 저녁엔 배달 시켜먹었구, 밤엔 친구랑 나가서 최애 술집에서 놀았숨니당🍻 방 내부, 청결 : 우선 방은 3인용 방에서 숙박했는데 생각보다 넓어서 셋이서 자기에 충분했고, 굉장히 깔끔쓰하고 청결했습미다. 테이블도 있어서 음식 먹기 편했고, 노트북 가져와서 일 보기도 괜찮았어요! 화장실 깔끔하고 넷플릭스도 됩니다 (자기 아이디 이용해야함) 세탁기랑 인덕션, 싱크대 있어서 요리나 세탁도 가능할 거 같아요! (전 써보진 않았지만,,) 화장실도 생긴지 얼마 안돼서 그런가 그냥 새거였고 깔끔했어요. 세면대가 바깥쪽에 나와있는게 좀 특이?했지만 불편하진 않았습니다 홍대나 신촌 이런 곳처럼 왁자지껄 시끄러운 번화가가 아니라 밤에 조용해서 좋았구요, 접근성과 위치가 좋아서 대중교통 이용 편리했고 주변에 먹을 곳이나 카페 많아서 좋았어요! 전 친구들끼리 숙박했지만, 장거리 출장이나 업무 목적으로 숙박하실 곳 찾으신다면 적합할 거 같아요..!

The apartment looked exactly like the photos—very nice and convenient, and it was also very close to the station. We stayed there for six nights. The only downside was the lack of a shower room. In the suite we booked, there were only two toilets, but only one had a shower. The suite can accommodate about six people, and since there were six of us, we had to share just one shower room. Before booking, we asked Trip.com about the bathroom situation, and they confirmed that there were two toilets and two showers, which influenced our decision to book. The only explanation I can think of is that they counted the tub in the open living room area as a shower. So, if you’re considering booking, be aware of the bathroom setup. Other than that, it was a good stay. I would recommend staying here because right downstairs is all of your shopping stores and foods 😊

Located in the quieter side of Hongdae (which i’d prefer), it’s still quite close to the main shopping area (maybe 10mins walk). Really cute space to be living in, felt more like a co-living (I believe university students live here as their hostel as well since there are universities nearby) rather than a full fledged hotel. Loved the communal space vibes and there was even a fair going on on one of the days (I believe it was the first day of the month) selling things like vegetables and fruits and many other things. There’s a space for everything such as a quick massage, laundry, kitchen, vending machines, a robot coffee machine and multiple spaces to chill and hangout/do work.
I guess the only downside was that there’s no room service if you’re staying for less than 7 days, meaning you have to clear your own trash and clean your own room but that wasn’t too much of a problem. Unlimited small towels available upon request at the reception as well.
Overall, it was a really nice stay and pretty good location!

Overall it was a decent stay at the GM JS boutique especially for the price. Service and amenities were standard - staff were polite & hotel room had the basic amenities you need…there’s extra charge of 1000 KRW if you use the toiletries though, ie shampoo, toothbrush, etc…
One thing we noticed when we entered though was the smoke smell, perhaps it had something to do with ventilation or pipes.. it was gone the day after. It was also quite dusty so our all allergies were definitely triggered for the first few days… it would be great if the room could be cleaner as well, there were some blotches on the wall/cabinet.
In terms of location, it’s near a lot of restaurants, convenience stores, bus & subway station, which was good. If you’re planning on going around tourist areas, ie Hongdae, Myeongdong, Gangnam, area, the location is quite far though. When we tried to take taxis back to our accommodation, some refused as they say they don’t plan to go that far…
Size of the room was quite good, spacious enough for 2 people and open up your luggage. There’s a study table with chair and a small coffee table with chair. Bed was quite comfortable. Bathroom was also spacious with a smart toilet (seat is also heated) & bidet.
Would recommend this hotel for a budget friendly one & good for the price!

The hotel was nice than I expected. The location is great being by the subway/KTX station. There are lots of restaurants nearby. You can also take the airport limousine from the station.
It was nice having a daily complimentary beverage at the bar. The breakfast was quite nice too although there could have been more of a fruit selection. The best part of the room was the Japanese style toilet seat:

GGrace KuangylHotel is located near anguk station. Just a little 5mins walk from the hotel. very near insadong and many food places.
Below the main hotel there are some retail shops and restaurant & GS25(but it seems like the GS25 there is automated cashier or something because you cant jus go in as you wish). But there is another nearby GS25 jus a few abt 2 mins walk down on the way to subway.
Did not take the airport bus because I was rushing for time. Although the Hotel told me that it will be a 5mins walk, but I personally would not recommend if you have big large suitcases because you got to pass through humans as that area is pretty busy in the day. But it is still convenient if you want to take and a much cheaper option. (i would recommend if you take airport bus if you arrive late night)
Hotel room is big and clean & there is mountian view too! Never expect it from a city hotel. I requested for a high floor and was glad they accede to my request. However, I think i requested for a standing shower room too last minute, thus, they still assign me a bathtub room. But thats ok, I just make do with it. Basic amenities all provided (except disposable ones due to korea's law)
They are quite strict with check in time, but I manage to store my luggage at their lockers and did a wash up before heading out for lunch. So if you arrive early, do prepare some small travel cleanser or a fresh clothes in your bagpack so that you wont have to dig your luggage.
overall, im quite happy with my stay and would definitely consider coming back to this hotel.

PPuay HoonHotel is properly upkeep though housekeeping only comes in on alternate day. They do leave amenities set hang on your room door for days that they do not come inside your room. Location wise very convenient for shopping & eating.. Very near Myeongdong subway station

First, it was disappointed to find out the shower gel dispenser is broken by ourselves when I was naked standing in the shower room. I would assume the staff should know the condition of the room. I wish the front desk informed me when I checked in and ask if I could accept it or not since I pay no less than others.
Second, the refrigerator has the smallest capacity I’ve ever seen.
Pros:
Room is clean and spacious enough for 2 luggage. Staff are nice. They smile and greet. Location is incredible, super convenient! Kinda quiet in a noisy neighborhood. The subway station is right under the building. It’s easy to reach to most of attractions and can go through to the airport without any transfer.
Money exchanging machine is available in the lobby.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaLocation is more suitable for business travellers who want to work & commute in financial district, otherwise there’s not much to do in this whole area as it’s very hard to find a decent or simple eatery which opens near late night compared to living in Dongdaemun and Gangnam. Our room is located high and we can have a glance of the nearby buildings and overlooked further. They don’t provide full amenities compared to 2 other 5-stars hotels we had stayed in during this trip. So prep yourself with our necessary amenities like earbuds, combs, earplugs, sewing kits if needed in any case..
The hotel room is quite spacious and toilet is equipped with a bathtub which we didn’t get to utilise at all but my child had once because she wanted to play a bath bomb for 10 mins. Other items like ironing board, iron, Nespresso coffee machine, distilled water bottles, beverages and condiments, safe box, fridge were all provided.
And I find it quite troubling as there were too many ‘big-country’ tourists either staying in the hotel or those living in Seoul going to the Hyundai Seoul mall to buy luxury goods. And the entire mall is crazily flooded and packed with youngsters on the day of our check-in and the next day. Some came to window-shop while most others came in for food and perhaps after meals, to seek shelter and shield from the cold. You won’t be believed this you can’t even find a place to eat as all fast food eateries, snacks counters and restaurants were fully unavailable. There were basically long queues everywhere you go. Ended up my super famished poor child had to walk a long way with us & venture out in the cold to find any available restaurant to have our dinner.
International breakfast is served daily at L5 and the buffet spread is limited compared to the one we stayed & had in Dongdaemun. We had to pay additional 55,000KRW (SGD55) per day for our young child to dine in with us as her breakfast was not included in our accommodation package. I think it’s really too expensive and given that we always came down only at 9.30am and the breakfast stopped at 10am sharp. The food she always had was a small bowl of cereal, 4 small bite-sized hash-browns and a glass of milk only where she had to eat fast within 30mins before they closed for the day. For such price paid, it’s totally not worth it and we can’t avoid paying lesser despite they knew we only had 30 mins left to dine.
Overall the concierge service crews’ attitude and professionalism were excellent and Fairmont had the best staffs with great service i encountered during our 3 weeks stay across 3 different 5-stars hotels. I wished I will have another chance to stay here again but the price for each night is SGD450++, which is really expensive.

PPengguna TetamuWe enjoyed our room the most and felt that we had a good night's rest here. This is a semi budget friendly hotel that is close to the palace/park areas of Seoul. The room was clean and well appointed with two comfy beds, two good pillows per bed, a chair, cabinets and drawers to store stuff, a big tv, robes and sandals. The bathroom was nice too with good shower pressure and one of those shower valves where you can pick the temperature you want. The toilet flushed quietly and there was plenty of shower space. There are frosted windows in the bathroom which help let in natural day light but if your partner uses it at night you will see the lights come on.
The location was decent but the metro was further than expected. When we booked trip.com showed us that it was 330m from Dongmyo Station but it was actually closest to jongno 5 entrance 2 which was a 10 minute walk away from the hotel. The palace and Hanbok areas are very close to the hotel and there are frequent busses in the area to take you to the major attractions and areas. Nearby the hotel there are many convenience stores but there are limited restaurant options outside of coffee shops.
The breakfast at the hotel was ok. We found there was a good variety but if you went too early (7:30 am) nothing was out yet and if you went later (8:30) everything was limited. The hot items were not as hot as we liked them to be despite the heaters so it might be worth getting early and getting your food when it comes out so it is nice and hot. There were scrambled eggs, fried eggs, marbled cheese the one day, stuff to make salad, an onion soup, mushroom soup, fried rice, a hot vegetable (one day it was potato and the next it was mushrooms), hot dogs, cut up fruit, bread/toaster, cut up muffins, orange juice, coffee and tea. There was enough to get by and there are pricey a la carte options. The restaurant was a little drafty when we went but it was just enough to get us started each day.
The staff at the hotel were friendly and allowed us to store our baggage when we arrived early so we could go out and explore the city. When we actually checked in it was smooth and quick. The elevators are a little tricky at the hotel and you have to pay attention to which elevator is closest to you and press that button. There are two elevators but there are two separate buttons to call them so it is worthwhile looking where the elevators are and choosing accordingly. The hotel also has a coin laundry facility and a meeting area. The lobby is also nicely appointed with furniture and a small drinks shop but being there in December we wouldn't want to hang out there long.

OorbitantOne thing to keep in mind is that early check-in and late check-out come with additional charges. I paid for 2 extra hours to check in early and ended up extending another night to accommodate a late check-out at 8 pm.
Don’t expect typical concierge services like at hotels, as the check-in process is entirely self-service. The online customer service can be challenging, especially if you don’t read Korean. However, you can walk to their office on street level at the corner if you need assistance in person.
Overall, if you’re looking for a clean, well-equipped, and conveniently located place in Gangnam with a sense of independence, this is a great option. Just be prepared for the absence of standard hotel services and potential extra costs for early/late check-ins and basic toiletries.

SSharnieIt’s smaller than I had imagined, husband couldn’t lift his arms properly in the tight shower booth. Fire alarm went off at 3am and the hotel worker looked busy checking for a fire himself. After alarm kept blaring for 20 mins my husband decided to call emergency, firefighters arrived within a few mins. Turned out to be a false alarm but it could’ve been over a lot quicker if the hotel worker called emergency first.

Cciel_202the room was the cleanest i have ever stayed in Seoul for the first time (I have been to korea for over 10times) and all staffs are nice and kind whom are easily communicative in english.
however about amenities were not ready enough which is the reason why i put 3/4 for amenities. toothbrushes should have been placed on the specific place, but they haven't placed when we were in the room, so i needed to ask to get these at the check-in counter.
anyways, we are happy to have stayed at your room!
we are sure that we will stay your hotel for the coming next time.

KKian FattLocation - approx 5-10mins walk to myeongdong shopping district/myeongdong subway station. 2-3 mins walking to City Hall subway station exit 7. There are two 7-11 convenience stores are just opposite the hotel. A lot restaurant nearby which is walking distance.
Breakfast- buffet style but not much variety nor impressive, we stayed for 3 days and menu is about the same for 3 days. Basically they provide foods like boiled egg, scrambled eggs, fried rice, dumpling, bread. It will be good if they can improve the breakfast varieties.
Amenities- no oral kits provided. They only have one washer and one dryer in this property. Be prepared for long queues if u were going to do laundry at night. This can be quite disappointing when you have to wait for so long to get your laundry done.
Staff - they are able to converse well in English, friendly and you can ask for daily room make up as well.
Overall - they do not allow traveller to extend check out timing, else you will be charge 11,000KRW per hour after 12pm. Nevertheless still recommended for those planning to stay in myeongdong area at affordable price.

4442sanaaeI loved the fact that the location is perfect for a quite night as well as it’s so closed to Namsan tower for a beautiful walk in morning, Myeongdong for shopping and sightseeing in evening time and many places I can get to in less than 15 mins The guest house is perfectly clean , they have a healthy breakfast as well as a projector where I played my favorite movies at night before heading to sleep. The family are so nice and always there to help me with everything I needed ^_^ I recommend this place for long term and short term stays~~
