Sequim West Inn

The property is dated - rooms with thick carpeting. There was a smell of smoke - although no smoking allowed in rooms, patrons smoking outside. Surprised by the use of large metal room keys. The room was clean and the towels were clean, thick and very white. Only stayed one night - unlikely to stay again.

Other reviews mention the quaint, old fashion charm of Sequim West. And it does have that. However, if you have allergies or asthma, beware. The room we were in had thick old carpet and a thick old bedspread (perfect to hold dust and dust mites) and it was very dusty inside (much visible dust in the air when sunlight shone thru the room). My sinuses drained non stop when trying to sleep there.

We were simply looking for a place to spend the night which was not an impersonal chain hotel. Sequim West, though not particularly impressive on the outside, hit the spot. The room was charming (with boxed beams and Victorian chairs), comfortable, and spotless! Also, next door to a DQ.

We were upgraded to an extra bedroom when they were short on space. No TV in the extra room but we were warned about that by the really nice receptionist. The room had all the standard features and the beds were comfortable. The room was a bit musty when we arrived but open windows and a quiet fan took care of the problem. At least there was no “motel smell” from chemical sprays. The room was very quiet and half the price as big name motel chains. An overall pleasant stay

I have been staying at this hotel since I was 10 and now I'm almost 60. At first I thought I was kind of funky but now I realize it's one of my favorite hotels ever and I'm someone in the last year has staying 8n at least 3 dozen hotels and the maintenance manager for one 9f Seattles biggest oldest property managers in charge of our hotel division which at the time included 5 hotels downtown. So I know the business. Honestly for the price best deal I've ever had. 0l7s "kid" that checked me in, extremely pleasant experience and flawless until resent hotels that forget they are i.n the hospitality business. Found out kid is owner! Why I putting review in TA because Bible of our industry. This kid deserves told props because the secret and hotels is to continue your maintenance and upgrade your rooms and so many people are not doing that now and their faltering. The rooms here are kind of funky but that's why I've always loved about him and if you look around the rooms have wood trim which is just stained incredibly hard to keep up even in the home let alone a hotel. The furniture might be older but like the box with ceilings and beams in the room make it feel like you're almost staying with an elderly relative that you love. Plus I have not met a single person here and I think I've met the whole staff that hasn't been pleasant and helpful. So if you're thinking of staying here and put off by thinking it might be an older place in just a little motel on the side of the highway you would be wrong if he didn't stay here cuz like I said it's still Tuesday since I was 10 years old one my favorite hotels and I spent a lot of time in hotels. And bravo to the new owner because I've never seen it look so good. It's been nothing but a pleasure staying here and if you look at my other reviews it's been a long time since I've given one of those good ones Take it from a pro that his rooms go for about five times the amount I would take these rooms any day over the rooms I used to check out in my rooms were in perfect condition.

it doesn't look like much from the outside, but this was a very nice place for a three night stay. plenty of room with lots of amenities - desk, tv, mini-fridge, coffee maker. the bed was okay, not great, but the price was very reasonable and the staff was very warm, friendly, and welcoming. don't let looks deceive you - this is a very quality place to stay.

Incredible experience. Owners and staff are professional and courteous. I never even felt the homesick blues. I was welcomed, attended to and treated as family. This is by far one of the best investments I have been a part of. Linens,toiletries, and room service provided for long term stays. No questions asked. Lobby, guest laundry facility, and grounds clean and manicured. Twenty-four hour video monitoring, hands-on owner and maintenance staff keep you safe and sound. Handicap, children and pet friendly; this place covers a multitude of needs. I look forward to my next visit and stay with you soon.🗻⏳

What a Great Affordable place! Older place but was clean, with comfortable bed & linens! Would stay again! Easy to find! It hasn’t been updated with USB PLUGS, so be sure to bring your charging devices for your electronics. Friendly lady at the office. Highly recommended!
