Suning Novotel Shanghai Reviews

We stayed two nights to go to Disney and the Wild Animal Park. The shuttle bus was available for both places, so it was very convenient using the bus. Also the room was very clean and kids-friendly, so my kids didn’t want to leave the hotel, especially after using the playground at the first floor. We booked two different rooms because one type of rooms has only one night left, but the lady at the front desk let us use the same Panda room for two nights, considering our inconvenience changing rooms. We enjoyed staying in this hotel and appreciate the kind service.

The location is a little deep but is good for relax as far from shanghai city. Travel distance to city bout 1hr. Hotel breakfast is good, surrounding also hv few restauran so need no to travel far for lunch /dinner. Hotel prepare transfer to chuansha metro, Shanghai Disney, Shanghai wildlife animal park and Pudong airport by reservation.

Housekeeping not upto the mark. No in room dining, no laundry. Front desk staff do not pickup the call at once.

Whilst the hotel is good for airport access which is why most people were there, there is nothing to do if you need to stay more than a few hours just to sleep. The restaurant is only for breakfast. No coffee service. During the day. The hotel seems to be in 2 parts with the reception area up the side and not in the front.  Surprising it is only a few years old it looked run down. There is a very old and worn pool table with no chalk to use on the cue sticks making it difficult to play. The gym is very small.

The place is spacious and clean and totally recommend this to people visiting Shanghai Disneyland.

Happy with the stay with Novotel. The front desk service is good and the breakfast is good too. Hoitel provides shuttle bus to Disneyland as well. Will come back again. Highly recommended

You can stay in this hotel if you want to enjoy water drops right on your head while sitting on the closet. Or you need to finish your stuff within a minute before another one comes.

to begin with, this is not within the Accor club. Second, it is torn down. The location could seem to be convenient to the airport or the Disneyland, but there are more convenient locations you can choose. Will not pay a visit to this hotel again.

I had a really pleasant experience in staying in Suning Novotel. Here are a few highlights I would like to mention: 1. Excellent customer service from the receptionist. She was so helpful for my early check in & wifi connections and very attentive with every little details. 2. Breakfast - Fantastic wide range of food choices are available. Foods are delicious and very fresh. 3. Convenient location to Pudong airport and very good value for money. I would definitely recommend it to everyone who wants to takes a short stay-over near Pudong airport.

Came here to visit nearby factory, however this hotel put in a lots of effort to attract families to stay in as this hotel near to the Disneyland. However, front desk staff lacks of training in the polite way to greet the guests. This is an international chain hotel not the local chain hotel. Staff shall really look into the way how they talk. Breakfast is variety of choices!

Compared to Hong Kong hotel rooms, this Novotel Suning Hotel can be said to be quite spacious. With two single beds, there is still ample room to move around to open luggage also have a work desk. It was the maintenance of the room was not done well enough, the walls had peeling marks, and two small spiders were seen. The front desk staff, although not less useful, also asked the responsible help to book the day check out 5:55 am free drop-off service. In the end, there was only one passenger like me. The very kind male driver used a private car to take me to the airport alone, which only took about 20 minutes. Although the room cost more than HK$400, considering the expensive taxi fare, I spent more than HK$100 on the trip from the airport to the hotel.

The front desk service was very good, and the shuttle bus and breakfast were very nice. Because I bought an early bird card, the departure time of 06:30 was just right. The room environment was good, clean and hygienic. This is my second stay, very good.

I haven't complained about the hotel yet, so I can't help but complain. The hotel is in a good location, the staff is very enthusiastic, it is convenient to go to Disney, the public area environment is also good, breakfast is safe to eat, and the price is moderate. 1. Is the guest room a rebranded old hotel? Or is it a remodeled big bed? Have you ever seen switches and sockets above your head? How do you sleep? I had no choice but to move the bed in the early morning, and there was no way to completely avoid it. Later, I slept at the end of the bed, and my charger and mobile phone fell to the ground in the middle of the night. 2. The artistic lamp at the head of the bed is beautiful, but not practical. Ignoring the location of the switch and socket, you will touch the lamp if you lean against the head of the bed. 3. Complain about the mini bar. There is no socket for boiling water. The ice bar is by the window, and the socket of the ice bar is half a meter away. I would like to ask how Accor inspected it in person, and didn't it get picked during the annual inspection.
