Ulasan Hanting Hotel (Shanghai Xikang Road)

Compared to the picture during the booking process, we got a much smaller room with a lot smaller window. Anyway clean room, clean bed and towels, nothing really special but a good accomodation for a reasonable price. Small shops, restaurants and convenience shops around. Moho Mall and subway station about a 10-15 min walk away.

Another excellent stay at this hotel. The service is fantastic and they really di help to solve any issues. A very convenient place to stay and I highly recommend this place.

Clean hotel with nice staff

Good location but the room is kinda small. Overall it’s good for the solo or biz trip hotel.

The hotel has all the basic things one might need. The bed is comfy, there’s a TV, kettle, and all needed toiletries in the room. The rooms are small but for me it wasn’t a problem. The breakfast was pretty good.

Jing’an is the perfect neighborhood to stay in when visiting Shanghai. Not far from good food. Easy access to metro lines. Nice, quiet little hotel. 

Clean, and there’s metro station in a walking distance. The breakfast could be better but it’s not bad 👍🏻

Good price for the location. Breakfast was also included and had everything a budget traveller needs. Hanting Hotel rooms are in my experience generally clean albeit small. They usually have the standard equipment and good service. I felt quite comfortable.

The front desk was not helpful. Check in took too long almost 10 minutes. The lady didn’t realize that foreigners don’t have passports if they put them in the immigration office so she almost refused for us to stay there because of that. It took a while for her to ask the manager and she wasn’t polite about it. The room was small. Bathroom was clean and big. The security guard and the other staff were very nice. The location is convenient and the price is fine for what you get. There is a washing machine downstairs. Overall experience 6.5/10

Great budget hotel. Not too far from Changshou metro station. Hotel is a bit basic, but housekeeping and service are really good.

Hanting Xikang Road branch is good, it’s clean, it’s affordable but there were some things that aren’t so good. First of all, the wifi is terrible. Basically had no reception in my room my entire stay (6 nights). Sometimes wifi works in the lobby but super slow. About the room: Bathroom is super clean and very functional. The bed was huge, maybe a bit too big because there was little storage, no closet. The bed was also kind of hard but I’m a good sleeper. I had a room on the second floor on the street side and there was a lot of noise from the streets, even at 6 am when some workers start to do the most loud type of work which was not pleasant. The hotel itself was also kind of noisy, I could here the hallway, my neighbouring rooms when they drop something and their air conditioning noises etc. The neighbourhood is super nice, some real gems to be found if you walk around and it’s a pleasant bike ride from attractions.

Perfectly fine, clean, convenient little hotel. Emphasis on little! Floor space wasn't really enough to keep my suitcase open, and too cramped to attempt to use the desk. I noticed that some of the twin rooms seemed to be better, maybe go for that next time and leave the suitcase on the other bed. The location is great if you want to be in the area, otherwise just choose another.

The hotel staff was very friendly and they helped me out a lot when I needed to checkout late. I always stay at this hotel whenever I’m in Shanghai because the location is very convenient and it’s central, so it’s close to everything. I will definitely be continuing with staying here every time I’m in Shanghai 😁
