Pros: 1. The breakfast was delicious, I especially loved it! I added some side dishes to the scallion oil noodles, and they were absolutely amazing! How can something be so good?! 2. The front desk staff were attractive and provided kind service, which was great. 3. The room even had a capsule coffee machine, and the hairdryer seemed to be a branded one, which was a pleasant surprise. 4. The hygiene was excellent, with absolutely no strange smells. The room was exceptionally clean, with a wet and dry separation in the bathroom. The sheets and pillowcases were very clean. A big thanks to the cleaning staff! Cons: (These aren't major flaws, but it would be even better if they could be improved) 1. The hot dishes in the Chinese breakfast section were cold. I'm guessing the pots were left open without heating underneath. It would be great if heating could be installed, as the food tastes so good, it's a shame for it to be cold. 2. The overhead shower in the room wasn't very good. I'm a bit of a germaphobe, so I usually only choose hotels with overhead showers. However, I was excited to have a good shower, but when I turned it on, many of the nozzles weren't spraying water. I quickly finished my shower and left. I hope this can be improved; then it would be perfect. Everything else was fantastic!

The room was very bright and clean, and the service was excellent. It's conveniently located right by a subway station near the airport, making travel super easy. The toiletries were also quite good, but the toilet was a bit too high and the pillows were too soft.

When traveling, where you stay and how you get around are really important. Last time I visited Shanghai, I didn't pick a good hotel, and getting around was a hassle. So this time, I specifically looked for hotels near a Line 2 subway station on the map and found Mercure. It's super convenient, just a two or three-minute walk from Exit 5 of the subway, plus it's part of the HUAZHU group. There's an IKEA right across the street, so finding food is a breeze. The environment is great, the stay was comfortable, and the breakfast had a good variety, offering excellent service overall. I'll definitely choose this place again next time. Highly recommend staying here!

This Mercure is my go-to hotel whenever I'm in Shanghai. It's located near Hongqiao, which is super convenient for getting to both the airport and the high-speed rail station. The rooms are spacious enough, clean, and the facilities all work well. They even have robots deliver takeout, which is a nice touch. There's a shopping mall right next door with plenty of great food options. The breakfast offers a good selection, including noodles. Plus, there's a small courtyard right outside where you can take a stroll after your meal. The price isn't too expensive either, offering great value for money.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We booked two different room categories, and the front desk agent kindly upgraded one for us. When my elderly parents wanted to switch to a room with better ventilation and light, the staff patiently accommodated their request. The service attitude was excellent! Highly recommend!
