Environment: The hotel feels very secluded and quiet overall, with beautiful interior surroundings. Service: Excellent! From the moment we got out of the car, staff helped with our luggage and gave a warm introduction. A special shout-out to Jerry from the front desk, who meticulously explained the room facilities and booking services. Every staff member we encountered during our stay actively greeted us, making for a truly fantastic experience. I highly recommend this hotel to friends visiting Zhujiajiao or anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at Anh Luh Zhujiajiao. The property is beautiful, serene, and so thoughtfully designed — the perfect escape from the city. A special shout-out to Jerry, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, and to the lovely young ladies at the counter (I didn’t manage to get their names) who were always warm, attentive, and welcoming. Their hospitality truly made the experience memorable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and charming retreat.

We stayed one night for our anniversary and thought it was very refined. We were assigned a ‘butler’ Tina who was very helpful and attentive when we had questions or tried to arrange anything. The restaurant was extremely delicious—not sure why it wasn’t more busy! We also had a great massage experience at the spa. Breakfast was very decent. We also thought the room was great: very private, comfortable bed, nice amenities, good Bose speaker, enjoyed the bath tub. I don’t think there are many places like this around Shanghai, and it’s less than ten minutes walk into the heart of Zhujiajiao old town. Recommended for peaceful retreat.

The location is perfect to explore the town, just walking distance to the tourist centre. The hotel is amazing and beautifully set out in an ancient house. Services and food was excellent. Our butler Edison was very helpful and looking after us all the way during our stay. Be sure will be back again for a longer holiday

The environment is really nice, and the room is large and comfortable. The service from all the staff was excellent. The staff were too enthusiastic, which was a bit uncomfortable. I suggest they be more sincere and natural.

Before school started, I took my kids to Zhujiajiao for a stroll and booked a one-night stay at Ahn Luh. I was a little worried after reading so many complaints on Xiaohongshu. But the experience was fantastic. As soon as I entered the garage, a staff member showed up to guide me. I had parked in the wrong spot, far from the lobby. The staff patiently pulled my suitcase through the garage and guided me to a spot near the lobby. Angel, the lobby check-in agent, was incredibly welcoming. She immediately fetched me a bottle of mineral water when my kids said they were thirsty. She was very attentive, guiding us to our room and even bringing us food. The breakfast was incredibly filling; we couldn't finish it all. The only thing was that the room had a slight odor, which would have been better if I'd opened the door and aired it out immediately. But it's hard to avoid that on a first-floor floor. At breakfast today, my mom even suggested we stay again next time. It was a great experience. Overall, I had a wonderful two days!

I booked this hotel for my parents. It's a discreet place, hidden away in the city. They called to confirm their check-in details the day before. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and down-to-earth. Tina, the housekeeper, was attentive and considerate. My mother's birthday fell during our stay, and they created beautiful decorations and even gave her a complimentary dessert. The photographer was very professional, and the photos came out very well. Also, the steak breakfast was a surprise. Afterward, my parents even followed along in the Eight Section Brocade. It was a truly enjoyable stay and I'd definitely stay again.

The experience wasn't very good. If it weren't for the promotion, the service wouldn't compare to the price. For the same price, I'd rather stay at the Banyan Tree. The Banyan Tree is much better than this hotel in every way... At least I stayed at the Banyan Tree once and I'd still want to go back. I'll never go to this hotel again...

The front desk butler service was very considerate throughout the stay. He answered all questions. The room was decorated for birthdays and children's toiletries were placed in advance. The room was quite spacious and a family of three did not feel crowded at all. It would have been better if there were more types of breakfast, but the white water fish in the restaurant was still quite fresh.
