Ulasan ZEN Hotel

The double room was exceptionally comfortable and clean. The location is fantastic, with the metro station just a five-minute walk from the hotel, making it easy to visit all the attractions. The staff were also friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to book this hotel for a second time in Shanghai. We highly recommend it!

Asked personal questions that had nothing to do with the check-in. First room , the floor was coming apart- got a second room - said it was the same size but it was a bit smaller . Checking in also took a long time . Other hotels don’t take as long

Hotel is located in a building called 华象大楼, lobby reeks of cigarette smell and does not have heating, the building is shared with other occupants (only level 9-12 are the hotel rooms)

Cleanliness is minimally clean and acceptable. The bed is comfortable, and obviously I booked because of the price and good location near Shanghai railway station. The windows cannot be closed shut, so it’s pretty annoying to hear windows making noise due to strong wind and poor insulation so I can hear people talking clearly and banging of doors in the middle of the night.

Very nice and friendly staff. Xia Chen Xiaoxu was so patient with me despite not understanding the language. The hotel had a good location and spacious rooms

I arrived at the hotel at around 1 a.m. At first, I was not sure if the Didi dropped me at the right place because I didn't see the name of the Hotel. You would need to know where to look for it in order to see the name of the Hotel. I hope that they will make it more visible in the future. What's great about the hotel though is that it is just near the Shanghai railway and metro station(they are connected). You will have to use Exit 6. Once there, pass through the tunnel leading to Exit 6 to Moling road/manual ticket office for railway, then just walk a few more meters to reach the hotel. Note: the hotel lobby is not along the street. You will first have to enter the parking area, then to your right, you will see the hotel lobby.

Not super clean however location was perfect having just returned to the train station. The view from the room was nice but that is due to luck, you might get a different room. An OK stay for the price

The Hotel is very close to Shanghai Railway Station just about 3 min walk, super convenient. I was very impressed by the hospitality of hotel's staffs, They were so nice and helpful 🥰. The room is speceious but downside was wasnt very clean and a bit smell of cigaratte. However, the overall is OK for me. recommended for someone who looking for a place to stay before catch the high speed train to other city👍

The hotel has a great location and all the stuff are very kind and helpful, but the room wasn’t very clean. Unfortunately, there were some dead insects in the room and also the windows are draughty, which makes the room more noisy.

Review: A pleasing stay. Was coming into Shanghai Railway Station at night. 5 minute walk from the station to the hotel. The vibes from the lobby and continuing into the the room were new and comfortable. The window was impressive, comprising the entire back wall and offering a nice view of the district. Ventilation was more than sufficient between the bathroom and the bed-side window. Built-in robust air conditioner with wall control. Bed and bathroom were comfortable. Ms. Hu provided courteous and professional service.

Nice room, big screen TV, near by Shanghai Railway Station and comfortable to travel.

The hotel is located near Shanghai railway station and subway, which is very convenient. The room was acceptable but the chair was broken and they only provided 2 pillows, I would prefer 4.

I stayed here for 4 nights for a cheap price. Daily cleaning services were provided. There's quite a few stains on the ceiling and part of walls but it don't bother me that much. Hotel is very near the police station, and 5 mins walk to Shanghai railway and metro station. Soundproofing is not that great and you can hear if there are people chatting outside. Room is already spacious for 2 person. Overall, it was a great stay and I recommend it for solo travellers.
