Ulasan Swissotel Grand Shanghai

Very convenient location, a few minutes walk from Jing’an Temple station (take exit 10) and directly across the road from another mall. Lots of good and cafe options, Beaton coffee next door does very nice coffees and there is a cute little old school cafe next to that. The hotel lobby is very grand, the swimming pool has a sauna and steam room, which was nice. There is also a 24/7 gym, all on the 5th floor. The room itself had a nice view and was clean, with a comfortable bed. However, the most noticeable thing is the smell when you first enter the room, I believe other guests have commented on this. While you do eventually get used to the smell, this isn’t exactly pleasant and may be due to the old carpeting (and a need for a refurbishment), it is definitely not the fault of the cleaning staff. Strange as the corridors do not smell at all. The other issue is the bottled water tastes a little odd. Apart from that this is a good hotel in a very central location with good amenities.

This hotel is right next to Jingan Temple metro station which is in the center of everything 🙌 The rooms were a bit dated but still among the best in terms of cleanliness and decor. I'll be back to make use of the pool and spa 😎

The hotel is located in the heart of jing'an and literally is behind Jing'an temple. The facilities are clean and the staff professional. Breakfast was delicious!!!

Everything about the stay was great, we enjoyed the breakfast and great position. Staff was extremely helpful and Mr. Jason, manager at the Reception, made sure our stay was unforgettable by being always available, supporting and helpful. Will definitely choose this hotel again.

The room was amazing ! The interior design of the room was really charming. Loved the layout of the bathroom. Everything was comfortable from the bed to the sofa. Convenient location, close to Jin'an temple metro station. Options to chose extra pillows. The AC was a bit noisy, was the only downside we could find.

Beautiful welcome from the reception staff I had a new trainer and one of the managers who were so sweet. Hotel is located so perfectly right in the center of Jing’an, coffee shops, mall bars and metro all walking distance away lass that 10 if that !

We have used this hotel many times and always enjoy the location and comfort. However, this time I was rudely told to pay deposit which I have never been asked for before (we prepaid) after some arguing he said he wouldn’t ask for one. The second problem was being told I would need to wait 90 minutes to check into my room even though I arrived at the check in time of 3pm. After some further arguing he eventually gave me room I could check into straight away. He gave me the cards and was clearly sulking. Not the service I expect from this hotel

Swissôtel is very well located, cozy and with high quality service level. Very close to the subway station, exit 4 of lines 2 and 7, is very convenient. The bed linen are incredibly comfortable, towels are soft and large and the bed height has a good height, specially for tall people. Jack Qin is an amazing manager that attended us and tried his best to fulfill our special requests. I highly recommend this hotel and I would stay again. Thank you for all team members!

Very close to Jing'an Temple metro station, staff are professional, the room is clean but quite old. The bathroom door is on a track and cannot be fully closed, and the toilet is an old style too. You can book a taxi in advance through the concierge, which is a good sign of service.

That night was the first time I’ve ever been in Shanghai by myself. I live in Suzhou and usually friends or now ex-boyfriend would come with me. I booked this hotel because it was close to Jing’an Temple. Check-in was very convenient, the location is great, and the bed was comfortable. I did sit by the window for a little bit. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who’s coming to Shanghai.

An excellent hotel in a great neighborhood. Quite friendly staff, decent but expensive room service food - so much good food just out the door, but if you want to just stay in, which I did, it works. Nice sauna and steam room off the pool. This was my third stat here. I will be back.

Well I was a bit shocked because the hotel was great, clean, upscale and had a wonderful location. I went into exercise and decided to get a massage at the spa located on the same floor. When the massage was over I felt very uncomfortable because the masseuse was pushing for me to get more time and also grabbed me in my private area. It was very uncomfortable but I just told her that’s not what I wanted and I just wanted to get out of there. I felt a bit embarrassed and even left the hotel a day early. So, the hotel is amazing, but just be careful with the spa.
