Good hotel, the rooms are quite big and spacious. The hotel itself is a bit outdated, but the service is excellent and the hotel is well suited for foreigners. Nearby is the Century Park and not so far is the exhibition center, as well as small market rows at the Shanghai Technological Museum metro station where I was able to buy a new suitcase to replace the one damaged during the trip. Overall, I recommend it for trips.

Good option if wanting to stay around Century Park area. Since covid, area is not as foreigner friendly in terms of eating options, but there are still several options. Great area to go for a nice walk. Hotel is a little dated, but clean and convenient to go to PBD or The Bund without the price tag. Not a lot of on-site eating/drinking options but nearby options, and this is a good place to sleep at a decent price.

I really like to stay here because it's clean, reliable, and close to the Oriental Art Theater, Century Park, and Science Museum metro. To be honest, we were disappointed that there wasn't a mini bar or any way to get anything other than coffee and water at 9:30 pm after a show. There was a robot minibar with a few things but it was closed or not in order. How can a minibar close? The breakfast here is outstanding and the trainee Mary was very sweet and helpful though.

Experience at Park View Hotel is always very good!! When I come to Shanghai I stay there…it’s close to metro station and at the same time in the park so you don’t feel the rush of the big city.. and especially I want to say many thanks to Eve, who is always very professional with me and makes sure each of my stay is always very warm. I feel very welcome there in general every time by the staff :)
