Echarm Hotel Shanghai North Bund Tilanqiao subway station

Very friendly reception, fast check in. Our room was clean, we enjoyed our 2 days stay. Many shops and restaurants around, 7 minutes walking to the subway and less than 30 minutes to the railway station.

Dislike : The toilet is flood everyday whenever shower. Kudos : The staff at reception counter were nice and very helpful (The guy on night shift and the girl on morning shift). attitude is very good and polite. Drinking water supply is sufficient

Hotel service overall very satisfy. Hotel is clean and near to metro station. Hotel staff very helpful as they help us to extend our check out time to 3pm. They also help us to keep our clothes from laundry room. We hope that hotel can provide more washing machine for customer usage to avoid waiting time. In conclusion we highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel front deck girl is very friendly and helpful whenever we request help. Hotel lobby also provide free coffee, tea and some snacks. Room is ok and quite clean and very quiet at night time when coming back to have a good sleep. Metro station only few minutes of walk.

Mu room has a very bed smell came from the bathroom. Turning on the circulator fan in the bathroom can help reduce it (take very long time until I do not smell it) but it fill the bathroom with smoking smell. The staffs seemed not communicate with each other well since I asked A to help me book a taxi to go to airport, but later I knew that booking through Didi is much more cheaper so I told to B (since A was not there that time) that please cancel my booking, I worried that maybe A noted somewhere about my booking before so I repeated 3 times to make sure she understand and she said “yes, you can book through Didi first and if you cannot catch a taxi on Didi we will help you to call a taxi”. However, the next day when I go to the reception desk to confirm the address with the staff there (in this time, the staff was C) to book my taxi through Didi, he said he already called a taxi for me and the taxi was right here in front of the hotel. So I had no other choice. Luckily I hadn’t booked Didi when I was in the room so I can go with the taxi called by the staff, I dont know what should I do if I had booked Didi and there had been two taxies!
