Convenient transportation, clean room, sufficient breakfast, and the staff were warm, polite, and provided excellent service.

The room was spotless and super close to the subway station. It's also just a short walk to the City God Temple. They even provided umbrellas on a rainy day, which was a nice touch. Very satisfied!

The location is another highlight—conveniently situated near 豫园 and 城隍庙and within a 15 minute drive of most major attractions in Shanghai, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations with its excellent service, cleanliness, and convenient location. We had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to return on our next visit to Shanghai.Highly recommended!

Loved my stay here. It’s conveniently located close to Xiaonanmen Metro Station Exit 3, which made getting around Shanghai very easy. I used the metro multiple times a day. The only place I mostly walked to was the Bund, then took a Didi back since no metro route there The hotel also has a self-service laundry area, good breakfast options, and coffee services.

Stayed here for an exam, the room was very clean and the service was excellent. Highly recommended!

The room was clean, tidy, and cozy. It's in the heart of Shanghai, about 1km from The Bund, Chenghuang Temple, and Yuyuan Garden, so it offers great value for money. The young male and female staff at the front desk were all very welcoming.

Very convenient downtown location, and the breakfast is incredibly cheap – less than S$4 per person!

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. It was centrally located, in walking distance of Yu garden and Yu malls. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was varied.

Had a good stay at Hanting Hotel. The room was clean, simple, and comfortable. The hotel had everything needed for a short stay. The location was convenient, with shops, food, and transport nearby. Staff were also friendly and helpful. Overall, it was good value for money and a comfortable place to stay.

I rarely leave reviews for hotels, and Hanting always prides itself on being clean. Today, my perception was completely shattered. First, regarding hygiene: there were spiders on the walls, and the bed had foreign objects and stray hairs. Second, for service: I called the front desk for toiletries, and while on the phone with me, the receptionist paused our conversation to speak with a new guest checking in (it took a minute or two for them to get back to me). Third, the front desk asked me how much I paid for my booking and suggested I cancel my online reservation, claiming a direct booking would be cheaper. Fourth, the next day at breakfast, they told me I had to pay extra. I insisted my booking included breakfast, and after checking, they admitted they'd looked at the wrong room. All in all, this was the worst Hanting experience I've ever had.

The room was very clean, I'm very satisfied.

The hotel's location is great, less than a 10-minute taxi ride to Yu Garden, which is convenient for visiting the City God Temple afterwards, and then taking the subway to the Bund. The service was good, and the front desk even granted a complimentary late check-out until 2 PM.

Overall, it was decent. A bit out of the way but quiet, and quite clean. The facilities are a bit dated, like the elevator and air conditioning. Plus, the door frame was broken.
