The room design is incredibly stylish. Beyond the comfortable overall aesthetic, the showerhead in the bathroom was a pleasant surprise with its smooth, gradual transitions between various water pressures and spray patterns, rather than just preset modes. The fact that food deliveries can be brought directly to the room is definitely more flexible than what you'd find at other large five-star hotels. My only slight disappointment was the limited variety at breakfast. Otherwise, the visual experience was truly exceptional. Surrounding Environment: The area is rich in culture. The 'Muyunji' (Cloud Pasture Chronicle) offers a chance to unwind and immerse oneself in an ocean of music and culture. The park and its surroundings are filled with beautifully preserved historical buildings typical of the Hengfu cultural zone, well worth exploring.

The soundproofing in the hotel is pretty good, and the room design is nice, though a bit small. Parking is very convenient, and the surrounding area is lovely. The breakfast is quite tasty, and the croissants are delicious.

Charming neighborhood away from the big streets and hustle bustle. Hotel room is very clean and comfortable. Aesthetics and design is very well done. For this price point however I was expecting breakfast offerings to be better - the spread was quite limited.

I'm in my favorite Blackstone apartment area! There are many good places to eat and drink nearby. After a night out in Wutong District, it's great to be able to shop your way back to the hotel. The apartment itself is clean and has a vintage feel. Although the room isn't huge, the furniture choices are very high quality. The temperature was comfortable, and there were no major issues with soundproofing, so I slept very well. The front desk lady had excellent service! The little farewell gift when checking out was also very cute. The speaker in the room was a big plus; I'd always put on some music as soon as I got back each day. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would definitely stay again if I have the chance.

Great location, right opposite the Jaguar Music Center. Downstairs, there's a bookstore, cafe, and a small bar, all on a charming tree-lined street... The atmosphere is really good. The standard rooms are a bit small, but the bathroom isn't, and the decor has a nice touch. Soundproofing isn't great though; you can hear every door opening and closing in the hallway. In the morning, it took a long time for the shower water to get hot. The staff were very friendly. Overall, it's pretty decent.

Tucked away on a quiet street, there's Dongwu Restaurant and a bookstore downstairs. Across the road is a music hall. The alleys are neat and clean, and it's peaceful and comfortable at night. The hotel service is thoughtful and attentive, and the room facilities are exquisite and spotless. It's perfect for business travelers who appreciate a quiet environment.

This has been my go-to place every time I visit Shanghai. The location is excellent, and the rooms are clean and cozy. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys Shanghai's cultural vibe. You can spend an entire day just wandering the streets nearby.

I discovered the water wasn't hot when I went to take a shower at 9:32 PM; it was only around 20 degrees Celsius. After going back and forth with the front desk, the water finally heated up at 10:14 PM, which was pretty frustrating. It's ridiculous that the hotel only has one person on duty at night. I can understand that the front desk staff might be overwhelmed due to poor scheduling and not be familiar with all the room facilities. However, they failed to understand a guest's basic need to shower and sleep after a tiring journey, especially since it was raining in Shanghai that day. Despite my repeated complaints and their inability to fix the issue, they suggested having an engineer look at it the next day. Eventually, after further communication with Trip.com customer service, they brought a mercury thermometer (the kind for body temperature) to test the water. Not only is that inaccurate, but if the water were above 40 degrees, it would be quite dangerous. I recommend the hotel gets a proper water thermometer. On the bright side, the front desk was proactive in eventually resolving the unstable hot water issue. Also, because the water remained cold during my shower, I tried to see if the bathtub faucet would produce hot water. Due to being cold and the slippery edge of the bathtub, I unfortunately scraped my leg. Of course, some of it was my own carelessness, but the root cause was the lack of hot water, and the caulk around the tub edge was partially peeling off, making the slippery surface even sharper if you slip. I suggest they fix it. There's also no partition between the shower and the bathtub, so when you shower, the area around the tub gets very wet and slippery. Other minor issues don't affect a basic stay, but unstable water temperature affecting a guest's basic needs is a major problem.

This hotel has a great design aesthetic. The rooms don't come with toiletries directly, but you can ask for them at the front desk. It's not a huge hotel, but the overall design is really impressive. The restaurant and bar next door also have a very cool vibe.

The room had a great vibe. The hotel is located inside a park, which made it very quiet. Right across from the hotel was a Peet's Coffee, and the park also had a bookstore, bar, and restaurant. You could get a 10% discount using your room key. Breakfast was semi-buffet style, and the croissants were delicious.

The transportation is convenient, and the environment is excellent. You can find all sorts of delicious food and afternoon tea options within the park.

Really liked the surroundings, and the hotel environment was excellent too. Great attention to detail, even the hairdryer was a Dyson! I'll definitely be back next time.

The team at the hotel has been very helpful even before my arrival. Helping me to retrieve and keep my online purchases and sending them to my room upon arrival. The team is cheerful and helpful in all aspects and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The housekeeping staffs were friendly and approachable too. The location is in the charming district of Xuhui and transportation is great and easy.
