Pros: The breakfast buffet was good, and the hotel has an excellent location in the heart of Jing'an District, close to several famous attractions. There are many restaurants and snack shops across from the hotel, and it's near Nanjing West Road and Taikoo Li. The hotel's hygiene was very good, making for a comfortable stay. Cons: The service was virtually nonexistent. Without asking if I wanted to extend my stay, the hotel rebooked my room the day before my current reservation ended. As a five-star hotel, this kind of service is unacceptable. Also, some of the hotel facilities are a bit outdated. The TV only has 28 channels and can't stream or cast. I hope they can update their equipment. Overall, I'd give it an average rating. The night view from the window inside the hotel is indeed very nice.

Our butler, Koi, was incredibly welcoming and even prepared some adorable desserts that my child absolutely loved. We were in Shanghai for a US visa appointment, and the hotel's location is perfect, so close to the embassy. I'll definitely choose The St. Regis Jing'an again next time I'm in Shanghai.

Big shout out to Koi, the butler at St. Regis Jing'an, for their professional and dedicated service. We booked multiple rooms this time, and Koi meticulously coordinated everything beforehand, arranging it all perfectly according to our needs. The rooms were warm and comfortable, the bedding was luxurious, and the city view from the window was absolutely stunning. The service was consistently warm and attentive, always accommodating our requests, making our stay exceptionally pleasant.

The service is excellent, the environment is great, the bedding in the room is comfortable, and the bathroom is spacious. The Chinese restaurant serves delicious food, and the Giba bar has good drinks. It's also convenient for shopping and dining nearby, and very close to the building for US visa interviews.

The room was clean and I even got an upgrade, highly recommend! The butler service was excellent, special thanks to Echo. After a city walk, I returned to the lobby to rest, and the lobby bar attendant even brought me hot tea – fantastic service!

The environment: The smell in the lobby when you first walk in is too strong and quite unpleasant. Service: Lacks attention to detail. The server led me to my breakfast table and even poured me coffee, yet didn't notice that the napkin holder on that table was nearly empty and needed refilling. Facilities: The curtains were broken as soon as I checked in, and I had to call engineering late at night to fix them. The hairdryer was also broken, with a very weak airflow. Don't the cleaning staff check these things when they tidy the rooms? Breakfast: Compared to other hotels, the breakfast selection is a bit limited. For instance, there were no coarse grains like corn or sweet potatoes.

The air conditioning in the room was really good, very unobtrusive. The decor isn't dated, and the overall atmosphere is very business-like. The service was thoughtful and excellent. The elevators are fast, and there's free coffee available.

The service at this upscale hotel was truly excellent! The concierge, Icey, added me on WeChat in advance and provided warm and thoughtful service throughout my stay. Thank you! The hotel stay was very comfortable. They even extended our checkout time until 3 PM, which was a huge help. We went out after our visa appointment and didn't get back until 1:30 PM, so having until 3 PM allowed us to have a meal before checking out. Thank you so much!

The bathroom door was broken, making noise every time it opened or closed. The room assignment was completely wrong. I booked a triple room and even paid an extra fee in advance, and specifically mentioned it during check-in. However, upon going upstairs, I found the allocated room didn't have the extra bed. I had to wait an hour to get a new room, which totally messed up our dinner plans.

The hotel facilities and services are excellent, and the breakfast offers a great variety. The cleaning staff were very thoughtful and even left a note. The housekeeper arranged a room with an amazing view. It was a very pleasant stay.

The room type is excellent, with a well-thought-out layout that allows the living area and bedroom to be separated, ensuring privacy. The walk-in closet is spacious, making it very convenient for changing clothes. I particularly liked the jewelry storage design, with drawers and a glass top that makes everything visible and prevents loss. The en-suite bathroom is also very roomy. The housekeeping service was incredibly thoughtful; they never disturbed me. They even placed a mat under my personal toiletries on the vanity. Upon check-in, I received complimentary drinks and fruits. The soundproofing in the room is fantastic; I experienced no noise in the bedroom whatsoever.

A very satisfying stay. This trip was for a family of four. Thanks to our executive lounge benefits, they kindly added an extra bed to our room free of charge. The facilities are very new, and the views are expansive. The food on the executive floor was also quite good. The butler service at this St. Regis is among the best I've experienced at various St. Regis properties. A special thank you to ICEY, who was very professional and enthusiastic. If we don't have a specific location requirement next time, I'm sure we'll choose this hotel again.

The service was excellent! We were greeted at the door and guided through the check-in process by a staff member, which was quick and smooth, and they tried their best to accommodate our requests. The room was spotless; even a clean freak like me couldn't find a single fault. The facilities were comprehensive, and the toiletries were great, especially the shower gel – I loved its scent! The water pressure was fantastic too. The location is superb, perfect for a city walk right outside the door.

This stay was truly, exceptionally satisfying, making the entire process, from check-in to check-out, feel incredibly comfortable. The room was very clean and tidy overall, providing a great sense of security. The bathroom was spacious with a well-designed layout, making it especially convenient to use with a baby without feeling cramped. The smart toilet was a huge plus for families with children, instantly elevating the sense of quality and showing the hotel's thoughtfulness everywhere. Our butler, Cerise, was consistently enthusiastic, professional, and attentive. Upon learning we were traveling with a child, she proactively arranged a suite upgrade for our two families, eliminating the need to go up and down floors between different rooms, which was incredibly family-friendly. During our stay, Cerise was always quick to respond via WeChat to any requests, processing and accommodating them as best as possible, making us feel genuinely cared for. Every day, fresh fruit was thoughtfully delivered, and in the evenings, warm ginger tea was provided, giving us a true 'home away from home' feeling. What surprised us even more was that after learning it was our baby's birthday, the hotel proactively sent a cake to the room and arranged some simple decorations. This level of care was truly touching. The breakfast was on another level – a buffet with a vast and varied selection. Overall, from the room's hardware and cleanliness to the service attitude and attention to detail, everything far exceeded our expectations. It was a very pleasant and memorable stay. I highly recommend it to families traveling with children and will definitely recommend it to friends. I will certainly choose to stay here again if I have the chance.
