This Huizhou-style garden hotel, nestled at the foot of Lingshan Mountain, with its white walls, dark tiles, and quaint bridges over flowing streams, felt like stepping into a traditional Chinese ink painting. The lobby, a renovated ancient house, boasts old trees and bluestone slabs everywhere, creating an incredibly serene atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and elegant, furnished with wooden pieces and equipped with smart devices. The bedding is super soft, and you get stunning mountain views right from your window. The service was impeccable; the front desk staff were very welcoming, and the shuttle bus was always available on call. Breakfast offered authentic local specialties like Qianshan hot noodles and Dengzhan Guo, which were delicious. We also got to experience Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) for free, and the courtyard was perfect for photos. Overall, it's a quiet and comfortable place that perfectly blends cultural charm with a relaxing holiday vibe. Highly recommend!"

"Within the Wangxian Valley scenic area, there are three tiers of guesthouses: Cliff Guesthouse, Yangxian Guesthouse, and XianSu, each offering different breakfast options and services. I booked the Yangxian room type at the Wangxian Valley Cliff Hotel and expected to receive the Cliff Hotel's associated cliffside breakfast and access to the Cliff Library. Instead, the guesthouse unilaterally downgraded my booking, replacing the Cliff Guesthouse and cliffside breakfast with the Yangxian Guesthouse and Baihe Restaurant, all without any prior communication. This is essentially a bait-and-switch tactic in the hotel market, where they advertise a premium product (Cliff Hotel) but deliver an inferior one (Yangxian Hotel). This is a deceptive practice by the Wangxian Valley scenic area, designed to attract and trick guests. I hope Wangxian Valley operates with integrity. Guests should be assigned the guesthouse they booked, not have their experience arbitrarily downgraded. Additionally, the prices are not low, and more attention needs to be paid to the cleanliness details of the rooms."

I was awakened by birdsong, and upon opening my eyes, I was greeted by rolling green mountains. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows framed the entire mountain forest like an oil painting. Sitting by the window, I could watch the clouds and mist slowly drift through the valley. My favorite part was the lazy afternoon sunbathing in the room. Brewing a pot of local high-mountain tea, paired with delicate snacks, it felt like the hustle and bustle of the world was completely shut out. The room's details showed meticulous craftsmanship. The natural wood tones were warm and comfortable, and the bedding was so soft it felt like sleeping on a cloud. The guesthouse's common areas were also incredibly photogenic. A bamboo courtyard, a mountain-view terrace, a stream, and a stone bridge—on sunny days it's like an ink painting; on rainy days it's like a fairyland. Every corner was to my liking! If you're looking for a place to unwind, this art retreat hidden in the valley will definitely give you a perfect sense of healing."

I highly recommend coming to the front desk in the evening for a drink with some BBQ – the recommended BBQ ingredients were fresh, and the drinks from the front desk were excellent. The atmosphere was great and definitely worth trying. We came back very late from sightseeing, and they remembered we hadn't returned, calling to pick us up and bring us back to the hotel. When I needed something last minute, the front desk attendant even went out to buy it for me. Honestly, I didn't expect this level of service quality in a small town. Highly recommend!"

After comparing countless guesthouses online, I finally settled on this one, and it definitely proved to be the right choice. The hotel is very close to Wangxian Valley, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. There are plenty of local eateries nearby, and it even has EV charging stations, so self-driving is completely stress-free. Before checking in, I was particularly concerned about quietness, hygiene, a smoke-free environment, and dehumidification, and the hotel thoughtfully delivered on all fronts. The room was clean and comfortable, the service was attentive and warm, and they even provided complimentary fruit and drinks. Upon returning from Wangxian Valley at night, the hotel proactively arranged transportation for us. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I honestly give it a five-star recommendation!"

Although the toilet's water pressure was a bit strong during my stay, making the flushing sound a bit disruptive, the other room facilities were quite good. The parking lot is right next to the hotel, which is very convenient."

"Really liked this B&B! The owner was incredibly generous, helped us carry our luggage upstairs, and even cleaned the rooms herself. She provided pick-up and drop-off services to the scenic spots, and we could drink as much bottled water as we wanted. When we returned from sightseeing, there was free fruit for us to enjoy. She also recommended a restaurant next door with delicious food that was cheaper than the places on the main road. We booked 4 rooms with friends. The B&B isn't right on the main road, which made for a much quieter stay. The owner never asked us for good reviews, but I truly highly recommend staying here! 👍👍👍"
