Coming off a demanding two-day trek, stepping into Moye felt like crossing into an entirely different dimension. The stark contrast between the rugged, raw intensity of the trail and the tranquil, refined luxury of this hotel couldn't be more dramatic—or more welcomed. First, the aesthetics: the entire space feels completely out of this world. Every corner is designed with impeccable taste, balancing modern aesthetic elegance with deep respect for the surrounding landscape. Positioned to take full advantage of its surroundings, the architecture frames the jaw-dropping natural panorama perfectly. The crown jewel, without a doubt, is the view of Yulong (Jade Dragon) Snow Mountain. Watching the sunset here is pure magic—catching the sunset light turning the snow-capped peak into a glowing golden crown (Rizhao Jinshan) from the warmth and comfort of the lounge is a memory that sticks with you. Matching the extraordinary setting is the service, which is truly top-tier. Warm, attentive, and seamless, the staff made the transition from tired hiker to fully pampered guest feel effortless. If you're looking for a luxury retreat in Tiger Leaping Gorge, Shangri-La that seamlessly blends high design, incredible hospitality, and front-row seats to mother nature’s finest show, Moye is unmatched.

'Wow!' is all I can say about this hotel. The views are absolutely stunning! And the sunset at this location is beautiful. The mountains right in front of you turns golden. Food was great at this place and service is perfect. They were very apologetic when the new staff took us to the wrong building and gave us a complimentary fruit platter. The butler service was also very quick in their response and they offered a hiking experience every morning and evening. Our cave room was also very unique and spacious. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We had views of the mountains from our room. But be aware that most of the rooms are not very private as it's built where people can see in. The complimentary sweet soupdessert at night was delicious and just being able to go outside and look up to see the stars were just magical. On departing they even gave us a bottle of shangri la dry white wine which was lovely. All in all a beautiful overnight experience. Highly recommended!

Hotel has great views on a large balcony onlooking the mountains, infinity pool and instagramable cafe. Our rooms had a floor to ceiling window onlooking the mountains. Jaw dropping views and very detailed service. Would recommend 10/10! They offer a complimentary guided hike which is highly recommended (a baby hike for hiking beginners). The only con is the food - really mid and pricey for chinas standards but don’t let this stop you from staying here!

This is definitely a hotel to stay in for at least one night. The service is outstanding and the view is amazing. One problem is there is a drone that constantly flies past to clear trash from 9:30am to 4pm so there is little privacy and it gets in the way of your pictures

An absolutely extraordinary hotel in one of the most spectacular locations imaginable. The view over Tiger Leaping Gorge is simply breathtaking — dramatic, vertiginous and without question one of the most impressive views we have ever experienced from a hotel. The property itself is remarkable, with incredible architecture and infrastructure beautifully integrated into the mountainside. The rooms are spacious, immaculate and extremely comfortable, and the entire hotel is designed to make the most of the exceptional scenery. The staff were wonderfully kind, attentive and efficient, helping us with transportation and hiking arrangements throughout our stay. The food was also excellent. Much more than a hotel, this is a destination in itself. An unforgettable experience in one of China’s most spectacular landscapes.

The hotel has a stunning view of the valley. The food needs to be improved - the afternoon tea set had only one of each item for both of us. Dinner at the chinese restaurant was decent but not outstanding. The swimming pool was not filled on the day we arrived.

Very spacious room, helpful staff, relaxing hotel. They even gave us a bottle of wine when we leave.

Everything is awesome! Nice view! Room is super cozy and nice! Free laundry service! Good food.
