Tina's Youth Hostel

The location is very convenient if you do the upper trail. The hostel is located at the end of the trek and directly at the street where the buses to Lijiang/Shangri-la leave (they will help with the booking). The view from the room was very nice.

Stayed in shared room but had the room to myself as there weren’t other guests. Room was clean and as expected for a shared room! Staff were kind and polite :) (Side note: if you intend to hike from TLG to Tina’s, the route from the waterfall can be slippery when rainy and does take some time so please start earlier than I did 🤣)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Stay at Tiger Leaping Gorge Our family had an amazing stay at Tina's Youth Hostel during our visit to Tiger Leaping Gorge. The location is excellent, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and easy access to the gorge's famous hiking trails. Waking up to such beautiful scenery was one of the highlights of our trip. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. What impressed us the most was that the receptionist spoke excellent English, which made communication very easy for international travelers. She was always patient, cheerful, and willing to assist with any questions we had . She was also exceptionally lovely and caring towards our children. From the moment we arrived, she made our kids feel welcome and comfortable, which meant a lot to us as a family. Her warm personality and genuine kindness created a very pleasant atmosphere during our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. After a long day of exploring and hiking, it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The restaurant served delicious food at reasonable prices, and the hostel's transport arrangements were very convenient for continuing our journey to Shangri-La and other destinations. Tina's Youth Hostel offers much more than just accommodation—it provides genuine hospitality and a memorable experience. We highly recommend it to families, hikers, and anyone visiting Tiger Leaping Gorge. A special thank you to the wonderful English-speaking receptionist for her kindness, professionalism, and the way she cared for our children. She truly made our stay unforgettable. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Tiger Leaping Gorge.

Room is clean. Conveniently located across the bus station to Lijiang and Shangrila. Owner can speak English

Tina's Guesthouse was a welcome sight after hiking from Tea Horse Inn. We were checked in and in our room quickly. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is good. The bus station is right across the road. The balconies on the 3rd level are wonderful. We stayed 2 nights and it was perfect. We loved the view. We wish Tina and her family prosperity and health!

Tina’s guest house is super close to the bus station, which is pretty handy! The place is spotless. Plus, you can grab your bus ticket right at the reception. I wish I could stay a bit longer!

Very convenient for hikers in the gorge. This is the end of the hiking route and very close to where the buses leave for Lijiang and Shangri-la (you can buy bus tickets at Tina's). There is a restaurant on site serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, with vegetarian options, and selling water, snacks and beers. The views are incredible (as they are everywhere in the gorge). The room was simple but clean and comfortable. We had a lovely beer on the roof to celebrate our hike before a delicious dinner.
