Ulasan Shangri-La Central Tiger Leaping Canyon Dream Boutique B&B

The place exceeded any of my expectations. It is close to Tina's Guesthouse (for the return bus to Lijiang or Shangri-la) and it doesn't require uphill or downhill walks. The room was fantastic. Modern, spacious, and everything was well thought out. The shower was awesome with blowing heater for post-shower drying. Wifi was ok, occasionally it lost signal. Stronger wifi could be had from the restaurant. Had dinner at the restaurant. It was cheap and flavorful. Overall, highly recommend this place as an alternative to the more popular Tina's.

Bridge Café GH (the name given here in Trip has a u extra) is the best place to enjoy a nice rest after hiking the Tiger Leaping Gorge. The rooms are spacious, modern en clean. The bathroom is huge and has a very nice shower. The rooms are situated at a beautiful patio and the upper rooms have the most gorgeous view over the Gorge. The family running the business is very nice. The owner gave us a place right at the ticket office in the beginning of the Gorge to leave our bags, after which he picked it up and brought it to the hotel for us. That way we could do the two day hike with only a light backpack. When we arrived the mother of the owner welcomed us. She speaks some English and is very friendly. The restaurant is also worthwhile the visit. We had a nice meal. And also they let me use the washing machine, so our dusty clothes from the hike were clean in no time! Last thing I can say, they are only a 100 meters away from the bus stop at Tina’s. But are much higher quality and better views ;-)

To be honest, apart from being able to see the valley of Tiger Leaping Gorge clearly, this dormitory is a complete mess. First, the bed was too hard as a wooden board. Waking up, my back hurts so much. Hard as it is, I can't even press it down with my hand. And the sheets and quilts were too dirty, requiring the owner to change them, but they insisted that this was the case and never changed.
