We had a really good experience during our checkin at the hotel. The manager, Vivian went to our bedroom to make sure we are comfortable. When we mentioned the weather was too dry, she got her staff to bring a humidifier for our room. The humidifier help us a lot. Our room had a beautiful mountain view. The next day, Vivian even gave us a late checkout for our hi speed train back to Kunming was at 4:15 pm. The best part was after touring Pudacuo National Park, we came back to the hotel at 2:30 pm and needed lunch for we were hungry before we catch the train back. The hotel restaurant chef has gone for his break. Vivian went to the extend of calling the chef back to cook for us. We had a good meal before we went to the train station. Her service was really incredible.
Kudos to Vivian for making our stay in Shangri La so comfortable and meaningful! I would highly recommend staying at Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Shangri La.

This hotel is located in the north part of Shangri-La, about 10 minutes drive from the old city of Shangri-La and within walking distance from the bus terminal.
The hotel room was very cozy and clean. The breakfast was excellent, and included some tasty ******* breads.
The only issue I had was that the hotel does not work with a travel agency. The hotel staff suggested that I go to the old city and find a travel agency there, which I did.

Hotel Indigo has a spectacular bird eye view of the Shangrila town, the room has the view of the temple in the Dukezong Ancient Town. The hotel is very new and the staffs are super friendly, especially Cyrus Pan who did helped me a lot of some miscellaneous things though the stay just only 1 night. Room is clean and spacious. The restaurant served amazing food with much comfortable environment than restaurant in the ancient town. I can say a hotel must stay in Shangrila and definitely I would return if visit to Shangrila again.

My partner and I stayed at the Shangri La Shangri La Shangri Ge Yuan Shangri Resort Meisu Hotel for a weekend and spent a peaceful mountain vacation. The hotel is located in a mountainous area with a very peaceful environment, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Although the guest rooms are not particularly spacious, they are very warm and the beds are comfortable. Employees are friendly and thoughtful, always willing to provide information and advice. The hotel's restaurant offers delicious ******* cuisine, especially the impressive breakfast. We particularly like the hotel terrace, which allows us to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountainous area and is very suitable for relaxation. Although the hotel is relatively remote, it is an ideal choice for those seeking tranquility and mountain vacations.

A dorm bed was the only option left when I booked. The dorm was super clean and spacious, fresh new, but the bed was hard as the mattrass is thin and placed on wooden board. If you are tired after the hike, you will sleep well. Best view from the bar and terrace ever.

tea horse guest house is one of the main check points along the trek, and has a viewing deck (with bar) where you can get a cup of coffee and enjoy the views of the mountain. the location is superb, and is the perfect spot to stop at if you are doing a 2D1N hike. sit outside of your room and look at the stars at night.
as the area is being developed to accommodate more tourist, you’d notice lots of construction going on…
amenities are super basic, soap shampoo is provided in sachets and the en-suite rooms have wet toilets (open shower and toilet without partitions). food here is basic, nothing to shout about. my stir fried vegetables came swimming in oil… which i learnt is just how the people in this area cook their food.
you can scribble your signature on the walls floors chairs furniture etc as a momento… but the scribbling was too overwhelming for my liking.
consider this location for the heritage (being the middle point of the entire tea horse route)… and for the views. even the shared toilets have a view!

PPengguna Tetamu這次的虎跳峽之旅非常值得，最開心，最幸福的就是遇到聽濤雅閣，當天入住有好多小朋友，我們家小朋友玩得特別開心，超級幸福哦，都不想走了。聽濤雅閣老闆的女兒，衹有八歲，超級能幹，給客人端茶倒水，一副大人模樣。一定要給她點個贊。他們家的服務真的是巨好，主動打電話聯繫我們，認真説明注意事項，加上微信，及時告知路況訊息，進村幾百米的鄉村路，開慢點，完全沒問題。房間很乾凈，被子乾爽，睡得很舒服。樹上的水果，隨便吃，超級大方的一家人。以後有時間，一定來這，住上幾個月。

SsamnahataWe stayed here after hiking the Tiger Leaping Gorge and were happy to find a very clean and spacious room with reliable heating. The floors and room are heated and the hot water works well. The room also includes oxygen to make your stay comfortable.
The property is quite big and also seems to be relatively new. It's well maintained. The location was great, it's about 5 minutes from the Ancient Town East Gate with plenty of grocery, convenience store, and restaurant options around. The Big Buddha temple is a short 5 minute walk away.
The staff are really helpful. They created a wechat group for us with all their staff so they could help us with any requests or information immediately. They helped us arrange a driver for a day trip. We didn't get to try the breakfast or restaurant during our stay here.

Apa yang paling saya suka ialah pendiangan hotel, thangkas ***a Tibet, fotografi, dan banyak buku di rak buku yang juga sangat menarik. Setiap butiran menyampaikan rasa artistik unik pemilik hotel! Bilik ini mempunyai pemanasan lantai dan sangat selesa, dan peralatan tempat tidur juga berkualiti tinggi! Saya menghantar makanan ringan, buah-buahan, pencuci mulut selamat malam, dan wain serta minuman di dalam peti sejuk! Perkara yang paling tidak dapat dilupakan ialah perkhidmatan di kaunter penerimaan tetamu hotel Dari masa membuat tempahan hingga waktu berlepas, saya rasa tidak bersalah dan semangat rakan senegara Tibet. Sarapan di hotel ini lebih unik, dengan tiga pilihan: Makanan Cina, Barat dan Tibet Kepelbagaian yang kaya dan rasanya adalah pengalaman penginapan yang sangat tidak dapat dilupakan.

PPengguna TetamuSuch a cute place in a beautiful location! The owner’s are very very sweet and welcoming.
The room I was staying in was nice and cozy. In the day time I could soak in sunlight while looking out on the mountains, at night time I got warm from the AC and warm blankets. In the common room they also have a traditional fire oven where you can sit at get warm while trying some of their local foods and chit chat.
Just staying in this nice environment made the trip so amazing. I hope I can come back soon again.

FFuOliverAfter a long day of hiking we were grateful to settle into our cosy, comfortable room overlooking the gorge. The room was big and the bed was extremely comfortable we almost didn’t want to get out. The hosts were a lovely family, always welcoming us with a smile and fruit. The food was delicious and made from scratch, tasted like home cooking. The son drove us back to Lijiang train station. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend. The dog is also super cute.

PPengguna TetamuGreat location and friendly, helpful staff. One young man walked me straight to a very decent restaurant because I mentioned I was hungry. I do not smoke, and that will prevent me from staying here again. The entire place is heavily seasoned with stale cigarette smoke, including the two (very friendly and helpful) young male staff. The smell was so stong, I had to stand at a distance from them and remain outside of the place as long as I could. There is no such thing as a non-smoking room here. Noise was also an issue, due to the construction of the building. One attached image shows one of the few gaps in the walls where light, smoke and noise entered the room readily. There was noise until about 3:00 AM from the outside, from the lobby, and from the room above. I was in room 105 which faced the alley that tourists raced scooters up all day and evening. If you are a smoker, this could be a cozy place for you. Side note: the ******* Goodness café (pictured) served some of the best coffee I had in China. It has a great vibe and is close to the inn.

MMUHAMAD AKMALHad a pleasant stay at this hotel. For the rate that we paid which included the railway pick up and breakfast, we have no complaint at all. On top of that, as we arrived earlier than the usual check in time, the hotel was gracious enough to allow us for early check in. It was a short drive from the railway station to the hotel. The communications were done via wechat and it was all smooth as we can communicate using the wechat translator.
Our room were located on the third floor. It was steep stairs but we managed. The room was spacious enough for both of us. It has all the basic necessities and clean. There was also heated bed which was good as it was cold in Shangrila. The hotel also have luggage storage after check out which was good as we could continue exploring the city until it was time to take our train in the late afternoon. As for the breakfast, it was served at a diner across the street. There were mutliple set breakfast choices. Simple breakfast but technically it was enough for us as we dont have much option anyway as a muslim with specific food requirement. Croissant, eggs and fruits were good enough with tea and coffee.
The location of the hotel is really near to the Dukezong Ancient Town. Less than 5 minutes walk. It was rather convenient as we went back to the ancient town at the night time and has no trouble to find our way back to the hotel by foot. Also it is easy to get public transport at the area.
The hotel really looks photogenic ni the pictures especially at night time when all the lights were on.

RRonaldThis was the nicest hotel during our China trip start of May 2024. The rooms are spacious, the beds have perfect matrasses, Rooms are heated and have a humidifyer as the air is very dry in Shangri-La. The exterior and interior are ******* style. The staff is super friendly and helpfull. Short walking distance from the main square and streets and 3 minutes walk from the street where to take a taxi. Very quiet at night. First choice in Shangri-la when we make it back.
