Hotel berhampiran Jinsha Park, Shantou

This was my first time in Shantou. I couldn't get a room at Hilton Garden Inn, so I booked the Golden Bay, where the airport shuttle stops. But as soon as I walked in, I was shocked and immediately switched to my backup choice, the Ruiran Hotel. (I had the Ruiran as a backup because its decor style is similar to Radisson Individuals.) I stayed for one night on October 27th, and the overall experience was great. The breakfast was even better than the Hilton properties in Chaozhou. So, I highly recommend this hidden gem to my fellow Trip.com travelers.

The Shantou Overseas Chinese Hotel (Shantou Huaqiao Dasha) is located in the Shantou Special Economic Zone's commercial center, about a 15-minute drive from Shantou Airport and 10-minutes from the seaport and the railway station. With good transportation links, guests will be able to experience the many attractions that this city has to offer.There are several Chinese restaurants serving a variety of fine dishes from the Chaozhou and Cantonese culinary traditions. Guests can also enjoy a nice drink or coffee at the Bar.Guests can make use of the function hall, as well as a business center offering international telephony, fax and ticket reservation services. This is a new, clean hotel with great service and a convenient parking lot. It's also easy to get to Longyan South Road from here.

I've stayed at Ibis hotels in Melbourne, Australia, as well as Hong Kong and Beijing, but this newly opened Ibis in Shantou truly surprised me, surpassing the others. Many friends have already praised the hardware facilities, so I won't dwell on that. From the moment we entered and saw a cleaner washing the steps with detergent, to the meticulous service provided by staff at every position, I was genuinely impressed. This Ibis perfectly lives up to its Chinese name 'Yibisi,' making it a 'suitable' place to stay, clearly showing a lot of 'thoughtful' planning. I will definitely stay here again next time I have the chance to visit Shantou!

This time, choosing a hotel blindly felt like hitting the jackpot (o^^o)! First off, the location is incredibly convenient. Just across the street is Longyan South Food Street, so you can explore all day without missing out on a great dinner 😄. The surrounding area isn't noisy either, truly a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. Next, the room was a pleasant surprise—very elegant and tastefully decorated. The entire hotel's interior design is modern Chinese, with every corner offering a picturesque view, showing off the owner's great taste 👍. The in-room amenities are clearly not cheap; I even wished I could buy the towels and bath sheets 😄. My only regret is that the room we were assigned was a bit small, noticeably more so than the one we had the next day. The soundproofing isn't the best, which is a minor downside. Finally, and most importantly, the service was excellent—warm, attentive, and every staff member was professional yet friendly, making us feel completely at ease and comfortable～
