Ulasan Fumanman Huange International Youth Hostel

I would say keep your expectations as low as possible cuz this place acts more like a shared house where workers rent a bed to survive in big city rather than an international youth hostel for travellers. I used it simply for my overnight transit so it was good enough but I wouldn’t want to stay for over 10 hours here due to the toilet conditions. Location was perfectly situated next to Gangxia North train station Exit 9, and it’s underground walk, very smooth with suitcases to the airport line 35 mins ride. Lots of restaurants nearby, very convenient. There’s also no reception so you’ll have to contact the hostel via free call on trips/wechat.

Good friendly spot in the center of city

Check-in is a big hassle. There are no instructions at the door and there is no staff on-site. I contacted them through wechat multiple times before i checked in but didn’t get any response and had to call them to get the check-in information and then I got assigned a bed that wasn’t cleaned, I let them know and did get a clean bed. Locations is great, right next to mrt entrance.

Perfect location with cooperative staff

I booked this hostel for 4 days but ended up staying only 1 🙂. The place was extremely dirty and poorly maintained — I couldn’t bear to stay longer. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable stay.

I only stayed one night, so I can not provide a thorough review of how the upkeep of the place is. The location is nice as there is a metro entrance/exit right in front. This place has a security guard on the first floor controlling door that requires key card access. Which can be a bit of a hassle. The washroom area isn't very clean, but at least slippers are available, so you don't have to step on anything dirty. There isn't a dedicated staff at the place to assist with check-in or check-out. Instructions are just provided via messages. Overall, this is a very bare minimal place and can provide a decent stay for a night or two.

The location is prime and the entrance is located on the other end of the train station marked by 2 red laterns. There is a security guard who will open the door and only the isolated right lift can get you to 20H as the other 2 lifts need access card for activation. The hostel is cosy and the living room is big. The 2 toilets are easily accessible with no personal amenities provided. There is an additional RMB 2/night air-con fees which is reasonable for a comfortable sleep. Charging port and light is available for every bed and privacy is ensured with curtain. Slipper is also provided for every travellers. Strongly recomended for solo and budget travellers.

If I'm being honest, didn't stay the night because the cleanliness left much to be desired. Female toilet door lock was a chopstick. Room had rubbish at the sill by window. Whole places needed airing. Common room dining table was splattered with food stains.

The hostel was extremely dirty and untidy. I won't stay there again.

This place might not be the most luxurious, but the host made my stay formidable. Even to the point where if I had the chance I would’ve stayed longer! She helped me so so much, walking me around the city when I couldn’t find where to buy the SIM card, searching train tickets for me when I thought they were sold out… she was so useful and so sweet! She also asked me which bed I preferred and made it for me in the moment. By the way the bed is quite well equipped with charger and curtain, although it is not fancy it is enough.
