This was a very nice hotel by the beach. The owners and staff can speak little and understand English. They have a super sweet dog. Perfect staycation. Close to the Dapeng Fortress. We will come back. The free breakfast was western style and very good. Their cafe latte excellent!

The ambiance was pleasant, and the service was excellent. Although our travel photography package only included three photos, the photographer kindly gave us all the shots they took, as my husband and I don't often take many pictures. Plus, the photographer had a wonderful attitude and kept encouraging us to take more photos.

For 700, I was placed in a room on the second floor. The room itself was small, damp, and had mold on the ceiling. On my previous visits, I was always given a room on the 4th floor. This time, however, because I checked in late after work, I was put on the 2nd floor. If there's such a noticeable difference between rooms on the second and fourth floors, shouldn't that be clearly communicated or reflected in the pricing? I paid the same rate, regardless. To make matters worse, the bar lights stayed on until 4 AM, and being street-facing, it was incredibly noisy. This was my third time staying here, and it was by far the worst experience I've had. (I did call the owner, who explained that they couldn't switch my room because I had checked in during the early hours and no other rooms were available. However, it's truly frustrating to pay *more* than before for a *worse* room this time. From a consumer's perspective, this is highly unsatisfactory.) To top it all off, I even found hair in my breakfast this morning... (I have long, coarse hair, and the hair I found was fine and soft, so it definitely wasn't mine). Without special requests or notes, rooms are automatically assigned based on the order of your booking. We would have been happy to adjust your floor, but we were fully booked and couldn't force the guests upstairs to move down because you were unhappy. Ctrip also called us to ask how we could compensate you. The floor issue made your stay so difficult and unsatisfactory. We apologized and even delivered breakfast to your room the next morning as an apology. Unexpectedly, there was another hair issue. We refused to shirk responsibility and even reprimanded all the staff with fine, short hair. Ctrip called again to ask how we could compensate you. We offered to upgrade your room type and offer a free night in September as an apology. You declined this offer. To fully resolve your concerns and regain some of your satisfaction, we ultimately opted for a full refund, which was the least we could do. As other reviews indicate, we are truly dedicated to providing a positive guest experience, ensuring everyone feels the relaxing, relaxing atmosphere of the beach. We look forward to caring for everyone, young and old, and ensuring they enjoy their stay. This incident has taught me a profound lesson. We respect but deeply regret the poor review received despite receiving a full refund.

The overall environment is excellent. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is superb – right on the beach! The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean. It offers great value for money, and they even provide tools for beachcombing. Highly recommend!

Service: Incredibly attentive. Cleanliness: Spotless. Ambiance: The sea-view room was absolutely stunning. Cui Niao is always my top choice whenever I visit Jiaochangwei. Their breakfast is delicious! The stay was incredibly comfortable, making it perfect for a family trip. Excellent value for money!

My first stay here was absolutely wonderful. The property itself was excellent. My room was spacious and bright, complete with a large terrace offering stunning sea views. The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming. Breakfast was not only beautifully presented but also tasted delicious. They even have an adorable Border Collie at the front desk who is very friendly and loves being petted! It was truly a perfect experience.

The room was well-appointed, featuring a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom, and offered a pleasant view. The owner even kindly provided two complimentary electric buggy vouchers to transport us to the hotel upon arrival. However, when we checked out around 8 AM, the electric buggy service wasn't operational, so we had to walk out ourselves. Breakfast wasn't available either. It would be great if they could be a bit more attentive to guests' needs in these aspects! Overall, my experience was quite positive, especially thanks to the incredibly friendly and charming dog on the premises!

The location is superb, right on the beach. Our room boasted an extra-large balcony with breathtaking panoramic sea views – truly excellent. The front desk staff were very welcoming and even lent out tools for beachcombing. Unfortunately, we were a bit late and the tide had already come in, so we only managed to catch a few hermit crabs. Room amenities were decent, and it was a pleasant surprise to find a smart toilet. While the lobby environment was nice, the room itself was just average. There were some stains on the walls, and I feel that more attention to detail would significantly improve the overall experience.

As someone who personally prioritizes environment and hygiene, I found this guesthouse to be exceptionally clean and comfortable, especially compared to others in Jiaochangwei. Both the ground floor lobby and the rooms were impeccably clean, and it offered excellent value for money. We sampled everything on the menu – from breakfast to snacks and pasta – all of which were delicious and prepared hygienically, allowing us to eat with complete peace of mind. Its location is also superb; it's the very first guesthouse on the beachfront, right after the snack street, offering truly beautiful scenery and surroundings. Overall, our 4-day vacation was a great experience, and I would definitely choose to stay here again if I return to Jiaochangwei.

Beyond a five-star review! The owners are incredibly gracious, kind, and genuine, and their adorable dog is so well-behaved. We had an incredibly comfortable stay, and the kids had an absolute blast. The room was spotless, and the owners even thoughtfully provided sand toys. We'll definitely be returning!

My bestie and I brought our kids here for a summer vacation. After looking at many guesthouses, we ultimately chose Kingfisher Guesthouse. Its location is fantastic, right on the beach. The guesthouse itself is very comfortable and cozy. The host was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay, taking great care to ensure everything was perfectly arranged. We'll definitely choose Kingfisher Guesthouse again on our next visit to Jiaochangwei.

The location is fantastic, with great views. The owner was incredibly welcoming, and breakfast was excellent too. The room comfortably sleeps 4, the beach wasn't crowded, and there were plenty of activities available!

The room was spotless, and the location couldn't be better – right on the beach, just steps from the sand. The owner was incredibly friendly and even helped us arrange a fantastic deep-sea fishing trip. (You can even see the Kingfisher B&B in the background of our boat photo!) We caught a great haul of fish, which we then cooked up for a delicious late-night snack! The guesthouse also has a lovely, well-behaved Border Collie. The Western-style breakfast was incredibly generous and varied. The on-site restaurant offers coffee, pasta, and pastries for lighter meals, and guests receive a discount on all orders.
