Hotel di Lo Wu Control Point, Lo Wu Railway Station, Shenzhen

This hotel is a mere 10-minute walk to Luohu Port, making it incredibly convenient for crossing over to Hong Kong. It's also surrounded by metro and bus stations, offering excellent transportation links in all directions. The hotel staff are very friendly, and check-in was quick and efficient. The free parking is a huge plus. And the restaurant downstairs serves delicious food!

Overall, it was pretty good! The front desk service was excellent; they fulfilled requests for extra bottled water and shower caps, which was great. ❤️ The only minor issue was that the voice-controlled smart assistant in the room wasn't very responsive. For example, when trying to adjust the AC temperature, it was quite sluggish and often needed several repeated commands to register. Ha ha ha ha. Everything else was fine though!

We are a family of 5 and it is our first time staying in a homestay in Shenzhen. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment that comes with a pool in the apartment.The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. The room does not have any fridge or kettle but there is a shared kitchen just right outside the room. The service is good. When we reached the homestay at 3 am, the homestay staff woke up to help us carry our luggage to our room. The room is clean and towels are changed daily. It is easy to find food near the homestay. There are many restaurants within walking distance. It is near to dongmen underground shopping. We will definitely return when we visit Shenzhen.

stayed for four nights. hv been 25 yrs since my last visit to shenzhen. the place has changed significantly and is now a modern bustling little city. very impressive. atour hotel is my first choice for accommodation as the service is excellent and the location is always at the heart of the city.

The hotel's front desk and housekeeping staff are incredibly responsible. They even bring up your food delivery to your room. The facilities are in perfect condition, the environment is spacious, and the location is excellent, being very close to Luohu Port and Dongmen Old Street.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! My first impression, the lobby, was stunning. Pushing open the door, I felt like I'd stepped into a sci-fi movie set. The chandeliers sparkled like the Milky Way had fallen to earth, and the front desk clerk, Mina, smiled sweeter than dessert. Her ”Sir, would you like me to help with your luggage?” instantly melted my heart! The elevator door chimed open, and the mirrored walls made even my clothes look neat and tidy. Waiting for the elevator turned into a selfie opportunity! The room was excellent value for money – cleaner than my mom's kitchen. A warm scent of sun-dried quilts greeted me as I opened the door. The sheets were whiter than the snow on Baiyun Mountain, and felt smooth as silk. Checking the corners on my hands and knees? No need! The tile grout was cleaner than an operating room, and the bathroom glass was so shiny I bumped my head three times (seriously, be careful!). The best part was the toilet; it opened its lid by itself and was even heated. Sitting on it on a cold night was more satisfying than hotpot! The facilities were more impressive than Transformers – I could laze around all day and not get bored. The gym had more equipment than a 7-Eleven shelf. The treadmill faced a floor-to-ceiling window, so I could huff and puff while admiring Shenzhen's night view, feeling like I was in 'Skyscraper'! The most amazing thing was the electric curtains in the room; just press a button and they automatically opened, adding a touch of ceremony like a coronation! The service was more considerate than a girlfriend – it brought a detail-oriented person like me to my knees. At 3 AM, I ordered a bowl of wonton noodles. Fifteen minutes later, it arrived hot at my door, and the server gently reminded me, ”Young man, get some rest after your late-night snack.” The next day, when I returned, I found my skincare products arranged by the service staff into a rainbow, and even my data cables were neatly tied with a strap. This is what I call ”thoughtful service”! Yilia, a lounge staff member, was warm, enthusiastic, and efficient, promptly following up on my requests. Eason also provided complimentary fruit in the room. The surroundings were better than a food street – the 'Jianghu' (world of food) was just downstairs. Just around the corner from the hotel, the cheung fun shop was steaming, and the dessert shop smelled fragrant. A few more steps led straight to MixC, where you could enjoy everything from dim sum to late-night snacks without repeating a dish! At night, I stood by the window and watched the traffic weave into golden ribbons, with Kingkey 100 and Diwang Mansion sparkling opposite, making me feel like the protagonist of an urban legend. This hotel is like an old Cantonese soup; it looks unassuming on the surface, but once you taste it, you realize it's packed with flavor! The next time I come to Shenzhen, I won't hesitate; I'll definitely choose Renaissance Shenzhen Luohu again – this ”hidden gem”!

The young lady at the front desk who checked me in around 3 PM was very professional and exceptionally polite. The hotel room was spacious, and the bed was huge. It's an older hotel, which is perfectly understandable, and for just an overnight stay, I think it was comfortable and totally fine. However, I really need to mention the hotel breakfast, which I believe needs significant improvement. Firstly, there's very little variety. Secondly, it seemed unhygienic or perhaps the food wasn't fresh... My husband and I both got diarrhea after eating breakfast and returning to our room! My stomach started hurting in the elevator on the way back to the room after breakfast, and I almost didn't make it to the toilet in time. Before eating, we were both perfectly fine with no discomfort, as we always use the restroom after waking up in the morning. I distinctly remember everything I ate for breakfast, and I didn't even eat much! I had a small bowl of dace fish, peanut, and pork bone congee, two small pieces of boiled corn, a tea egg, two small cups of hot milk, a small cup of hot blackberry tea, a little vegetable salad, and four small multigrain buns (I gave one to my husband). Unexpectedly, I had diarrhea all day yesterday, and I'm still feeling weak at work today.

**Great Location & Clean, Modern Stay – Minor Room for Improvement** I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent—conveniently situated and easy to access major attractions or transport links. The hotel itself feels relatively new, with clean, modern rooms and a fresh ambiance. The room was on the smaller side, but perfectly sufficient for two people. Everything was well-maintained, and daily housekeeping was consistently provided, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was included, though the selection was quite limited—mainly porridge, salad, and hot coffee. It’s fine for a quick bite, but honestly, I probably wouldn’t opt for it again next time given the minimal variety. A couple of small inconveniences stood out: there are no hooks in the bathroom to hang towels or clothes while showering. Additionally, the toilet has an automatic sensor that lifts the seat when it detects movement, which means you can’t rest towels or clothing on the lid either. Adding a couple of hooks would greatly improve the bathroom’s functionality. It’s worth noting that there’s no mini-fridge in the room, but this was clearly stated in the room description beforehand, so no surprises there. Considering the price, the hotel offers good value—especially for its prime location and cleanliness. Despite the minor drawbacks, I’d definitely consider staying here again on my next trip!

The young lady gave us complimentary upgrade to our room during check in. We both enjoyed our stay in the beautiful room and all the room amenities. Our room is super clean and everything is like new. Room is equipped with smart voice control to the room functions such as lighting, A/C and curtains but communications only in Mandarin via ‘Siow Tu Siow Tu’ voice command instructions. Just a short walk from Guomao Metro station Exit B which is nearer and after exit turn back facing the cross road traffic light junction then cross the road and you can see the hotel signage on the side of the reddish building facade. The hotel lobby is located on the Ground level of the building and we need our room key to access only to our room floor so security is quite good here. Local name is Mibai Hotel.

I've stayed here many times. The location is convenient, and they have a robot that delivers meals, which is a nice touch. The service is excellent. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back if I have the chance. The facilities are also comprehensive and I'm very satisfied.
