I loved my stay to much in Kyushu Joycheng Hotel. The location is amazing with a lot of facilities and restaurants. Just 30 sec to reach Sea World. 5 min walking to reach the seaside. Amazing views from up your room. And the room is so clean and comfortable. And the stuff are very helpful specially Mr James in the reception he was amazing and so helpful and kind. Thank you Kyushu Joycheng hotel for this experience and for sure I will come back again.

I recently stayed here, and overall, my experience was just okay. The hotel has potential, but there’s room for improvement, particularly in the area of cleanliness. Unfortunately, I found an item of clothing (an underwear) left in the washing machine, which was a bit off-putting. Aside from this issue, the rest of the stay was satisfactory. The room was comfortable, and the amenities were adequate, but the hotel staff needs to pay more attention to maintaining cleanliness to enhance the guest experience.

Super last minute booking for our wedding anniversary and luckily the booking was smooth. Arrived at the hotel to check in and we were immediately allowed to enter our room. There room was very spacious, clean, and modern. The hotel also spoiled us with various tea and coffee options plus welcome fruits for as a small gift for our wedding anniversary. Another thing worth mentioning is that room service was extremely fast. We ordered ice cubes, twice, and both times arrived in less than 5 minutes. There was some point at time in the evening where we smelled people smoking, probably from next door. Other than, everything was perfect and definitely will return.

The room has no window, although it was stated in the website which I did overlook. I have never been to a hotel without a window. The feeling is terrible dark especially when in the morning you had to refresh after sleep. I suggested that the advertisement on the website should have the provision “no Window” highlighted and for customers reference and attention. Besides the toilet shower is badly designed which the opening of the glass door inward to the side of the shower head will bump into the shower head. The shower head also split water out on side causing all the stuff you put outside on the wash basin wet. Terrible.
Although the staff there are very nice and helpful, but the hotel room is really not fit if you are expecting a good journey experience, the price is not really so cheap to let the customer have such low standard of room.

Thanks Nanshan Shangri-la for giving us a relaxing vacation. The hotel is super nice for photos. We have taken lots of beautiful photos.
The package includes a tea set which we enjoy very much! The waitresses are willing to help take pic for our families.
And we also enjoy the swimming pool and jacuzzi! Remember to bring a swimming cap with you, or you need to buy it for $90. There is also a open gym which you can enjoy n relax yourself!
Hotel is just 7 mins away from O’Plaza 歡樂海岸中心, our kids enjoy shopping n dining there. When we came back late n we order delivery at 11pm, the front desk help us to bring the food up to the hotel room. Their service is super👏🏻
Love it ! Nanshan Shangri-La for a great vacation!

The location is very good with a night market nearby and a metro station. There are also lots of food options a stone’s throw away, which makes it convenient for those who don’t like to go far. Coco Park mall is also less than 10mn away by taxi. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We got the late night supper buffet option and were very pleased and satisfied with the food. Breakfast had chinese and western options.

SSmartcanuckHotel is nice with a good pool for the dameisha area but very overpriced. The price of the hotel is like a 5 star international brand but it doesn’t deliver like it is 5 start. The management and its owners need to really re consider their pricing and their training of staff.
Pros - hotel is new, nicely renovated, and they have hired a lot of staff who are putting in effort. Their towels are very fluffy and nice. Robe is soft, absorbent and high quality. the breakfast has some selection but the cooked items could be improved so it’s less dry but it is acceptable and not bad with a good coffee machine and some western cereal (ran out of cold milk but staff found some ) . Pool is large, clean and beautiful, (not deep) and not very chlorinated, the bar has drinks (but no food). Photography package is a good idea, but photographers needs more experience. Bathtub is pretty, has salts and loofah sponge. TV has a Chinese Netflix and western movies (but you have to know Chinese to read the selections) and it has a music selection too.
Toiletries included with a good the if travel size Colgate. Fridge had one sprite one coke two Thai brand sparkling water bottles and two water bottles. Two packets of tea available, and one pack of coffee concentrate. Generally everything was clean. Breakfast pictures are included because it was vague
Cons- BUT staff are inexperienced, too young, lack training, slow and inefficient. If they change this much money They need to hire staff that are experienced and have a details, thorough and careful training program. They need to have more managers to manage the operations and the staff to develop the necessary soft skills. The management seem unrealistic hiring many inexperienced staff trying to deliver 5 star service. It’s better to hire more older more experienced 5 star staff with hotel experience to guide the staff instead of hiring so many very very young inexperienced staff . Though the staff are sincere and put in their best efforts but it looks like this is their first job, and I don’t expect much from them. They’re slow, inefficient, and lost because of a lack of experience. Many of my requests were lost and required several follow reminders.
Even though I have used the new automated toilets but their toilet was difficult to use and not flushing (low water pressure) bathtub and shower are poorly designed (but look pretty) and are hard to use. Restaurant was unable to explain what their 399 set dinner was, and didn’t have any photos
Manager Zhou was very effective at trying to follow up and apologising. She was thoughtful and willing to listen. But upper management needs to change, and hire more managers, and develop a detailed training program (not just 1-2 days) but much longer and more ongoing. I’m afraid to ask if they can even speak English. Overall this hotel isn’t ready, overpriced and this should just be a soft launch, with discounted prices. If you’re gonna pay this much go to another real 5 star hotel, or only book their cheapest room. But if you really like swimming then it’s worth considering cause the pool is nice.

Dinner buffet: here come to the part, I think all of you should skip it. I was very disappointed with the dinner buffet, 1st the variety is limited, sushi counter have 3 or 4 items, cakes only have few choices, ice-cream don’t even want to try, seafood counter er…em…, overall, it was not value for money.

JJohnodAlthough I am primarily a business traveller, I visited the Mecure for a family stay I booked the suite to accommodate way wife’s work and bedroom myself and child could utilise.
Excellent breakfast choice, ideal location for those familiar with SZ.
I stayed 3 nights and booked the same suite for my family to stay a further 4 nights.
So highly recommended and Stephen the manager was particularly accommodating.
Also to note the juice and goods are supplied with the room so another pleasant surprise.

Here are several suggestions where the hotel can improve:
The facilities are limited, it would be nice to have a small bar or drinks area. The breakfast is average, although the restaurant is bright and good-looking. AC is way too cold, and the shower temperature fluctuates between hot and cold.
Overall, the stay was very pleasant. The few staff members who were on duty were very pleasant and helpful, although there was not a large team.

PPengguna TetamuCheck-in was a little underwhelming. Door staff gave up rolling the luggage midway from the door to the front desk, claiming that the luggage was too heavy. Front desk staff seemed confused about whether there were available rooms; we only managed to get checked in after approaching another front desk staff after 10-15 minutes.i
Room was basic and therefore underwhelming for the price (and even below par compared to some of the lower cost local hotels). Ceiling area where the air conditioning was had mold, and TV was an old model. Saving grace was the view - there was a good view of Window of the Park, and the bed, which was very comfortable.
The gym was well equipped and also had a steam room (though this was not 24/7 unlike the rest of the gym). Swimming pool was outdoors and large though subject to air quality and not heated. The spa was too pricey for the standard of service.
Hotel itself has a direct connection to the next-door mall, which also has a direct connection to the Window by the Park (世界之窗） metro station. The mall has plenty of dining options.

ZZeethaThis is my second trip to Shenzhen in the past 20 years, and my friend (who I call Gege) has recommended this hotel. My flight was late at night; the receptionist barely understands English, but they love to help. My room was on the 4th floor. It was a mini single room type, but it has every facility I need. The room is clean—not that new, but more spacious than I thought. The only thing they don't provide here in this room type is a refrigerator. But it is fine with me. The breakfast is lovely. I tried everything except the congee because I didn't know how to order it. Oh, but you need to ask for the ”zhāo cháng quán” at the reception counter if you book the room that includes breakfast. It will serve from 7.30 a.m. until around 10 a.m.
I love the location of this hotel so much. It is located on the beautiful boulevard and just a few minutes away from OCT Loft, the art square. Lawson is just around the corner, as is the pharmacy, as well as some local restaurants. The Qiaocheng East Metro station is about 7 minutes away, but walking along the boulevard makes it feel like 3 minutes to me.
The housekeepers are nice. Actually, everyone at the hotel is. I mentioned the housekeeper because she cleans my room every day, and that's what I need from coming back to travel for a whole day, but I feel that it was extra clean as she changed my towel and put in new, clean amenities for me every day. I tried to communicate with her on my third day and showed her my appreciation for her work.
On my last day of staying at this hotel, I left a note on the bed, written in my bad handwriting in Chinese. I hope she will find it. The receptionist on that day also helped me call a taxi when my phone application was not working.
I love everything in this hotel. The price is reasonable. I won't say cheap. You get what you pay for, and for me, I got a little more than I expected. I'll be back once every year and will definitely book this hotel again.
If you are a solo traveler and looking for a lovely hotel in a nice location, not as busy in the city, and love the arts and a bit of strolling on the greenery boulevard, then H'Life Hotel (OCT Loft) or Huali Hotel is what you need. And booking with Trip.com is my best choice. My flight was cancelled once when the typhoon hit Shenzhen early this month. I had to cancel at the last minute, but I booked it with the free cancellation option. So, all was well. I got the refund later and then booked it again in the next 2 weeks.
So please keep your good quality and maintain this standard, and then I will come back and recommend people come here too. See you again next year!
