Decent local hotel.....clean and functional. 10-15 mins walk from the nearest subway station.

I'm an engineer from the USA. I have stayed at this hotel many times throughout 15 years. I've stayed here more than 100 nights. It is the best hotel in this area. The rooms are clean. The service is awesome. The bar is relaxing and interesting. The bartender has helped me improve my Chinese while having drinks there. There is a rotating restaurant on the top of the hotel. That rotating restaurant has luxury food for a reasonable price. I usually stay at Shangri-La Shenzhen during my business trips for its proximity and is always my choice even for my personal trips. Even if I only swing by Shenzhen for a day trip, I will definitely have my dim sum breakfast in 香宫 before moving off to next destination. This time round, I had a last minute booking for my birthday celebration and was pleasantly surprised by the hand written note from Cheng Li - the Guest relationship officer. Cheng Li wished me a happy birthday and prepared a delicious cheese cake which was considerately stored in the fridge for me. The room is also decorated with a handmade artwork using towels which symbolized my Chinese horoscope! I am very impressed by the details and effort. I will of course continue to stay at Shangri-La Shenzhen whenever I am traveling to Shenzhen and will definitely recommend staying there to my peers!

Outstanding high-class luxurious hotel. It is a classic and classy hotel. I loved it very much, one of the best luxury hotels I have stayed in the world. For foreigners: think of The Pavillion as a better option than Ritz Carlton, or Grand Hyatt hotels, of the 90s when they were really good. Property is old, but VERY WELL maintained. The room and bathroom are very spacious and refined to the smallest details, with complimentary high-end amenities, water, and fresh fruits daily. With a big swimming pool and sports complex in the hotel. The facilities are super clean and very well kept. Staff and service are tip-top Chinese hospitality. When in Shenzhen, I stay here, for sure! 一流的豪华酒店。这是一家经典而优雅的酒店。我非常喜欢它，是我住过的最好的豪华酒店之一。对于外国人来说：The Pavillion 是比 90 年代的丽思卡尔顿酒店或君悦酒店更好的选择，当时它们真的很棒。酒店虽然很旧，但维护得非常好。房间和浴室非常宽敞，精致到最小的细节，每天提供免费的高端设施、水和新鲜水果。酒店内有一个大型游泳池和运动场。设施超级干净，维护得非常好。员工和服务都是一流的中国式待客之道。我来深圳的时候一定会住在这里！

All staff is super nice, we booked a family connect room, room is big but the hotel is old, the carpet full with filth, and the room smell bad.. location is very convenient, starbuck is near by there also. Those who plan to go in the near future, must think before your trip, guests staying at the hotel now will be closely screened, the staff will ask for all document of the person who stayinglikkk there, and ask for photo together, im feel abit weird about this..overall we feel I am very satisfied with the hotel, except for the hygiene, but if someone who dont care about the cleaness , this would be a good choice.

The amenities are spread all over! the swimming pool and the spa are outside the hotel and not convenient at all! to go to the swimming pool you need to go to the lobby and get tickets which you can only use for one of the pools since it belongs to a community! the pool is nice by the way, but still inconvenient for travelers! the spa, however is outside the hotel, so you will have to walk out of the entrance and walk for 100 meters or so through the street to get there! not bad but also inconvenient!

Great hotel in a really conveniennt location.The pool and gym are shared with non hotel members but that's okay. It was big and spacious, very confortable beds. Okay breakdfast

I stayed for two nights, the customer service is good they try their best to keep you comfortable. The location is far from subway but you can easily get a Uber or taxi, has a nice view of the mountains .The breakfast was a disappointment, the choices are limited and not tasty, the coffee machine needs maintenance. Overall is a good options but they need to work on the food, also the option for room service a very limited. One cute thing they have a little robot for beverages to your room, cheap and efficient.
