Hotel King Palace

This hotel is very very to much bad No parking and no food is good Really very bad hotel in Shimla and location is aslo very bad very to much hieght

When we booked on the ******* app, we were given a choice to pay at the time of booking or pay when we arrived. We chose the latter. We got a random call on the afternoon of our arrival that we had to pay at least 30% as per the law in Shimla. We gave them a WhatsApp number to send details and get us a PhonePay number to pay the 30%.. They never sent it. When we arrived, the men there asked what they could do for us—not check in, but what they could do, which is odd at a reception desk. They had never heard of *******, were confused when I showed them the app with the confirmation, and make a few phone calls. They kept saying the name of the hotel like we weren’t all at the hotel. Then they told us they had they cancelled our reservation because we hadn’t paid in advance (again, the app gave us a choice with no warning about this “rule”). They also said were full and had no rooms available. Meanwhile during this confusion let us use a washroom in a room that was rudimentary and undesirable. We received no notice of the cancellation —they pointed to the online booking and said it was cancelled, but I actually had to contact ******* to cancel the reservation with an agent so we weren’t charged as the reservation was still there. It was 6pm and we had no room for the night. The only positive was that they led us to a different hotel next door which we are loving.

This is my first time in Shimla and very happy to stay this hotel. We're just married and our honeymoon destination thats why they arrange a warm welcome as well as decor a ro***tic room. Rooms views are very peaceful and the hotel location also. I highly recommended to staying this hotel.

Amazing place to stay if you are looking for a peaceful and a classy hotel. Very well behaved and professional staff. 5 Star for Hospitality, Food and Friendly Staff Following all the protocols required in Covid times.Excellent place for families, couples or even friends. Quality of food was awesome with excellent on de***d service. Keep up the good service would definitely recommend Hotel King Palace to family and friends
