"Very large room for Japan hotel standards. Location is also very convenient with good access from the station, just 1 road away. Hotel is quite old but upkeep is not bad. We could even see my Fuji from the lift lobby! My only suggestion was that front desk service can be improved esp for a 5 star hotel. The front desk asked me to take a queue number when I asked for their help to throw the trash that I have even when there’s no one in the queue!The lady also gives a bit of an attitude when I asked her a qn."

"An unexpected surprise, the room and food are very good, and the price-performance ratio is very high compared to other hot spring hotels. It is right next to Miho-no-Matsubara, the environment is very good, and you can see Mount Fuji in a few minutes' walk. The transportation is not very convenient, it takes about 30 minutes to take the bus from Shimizu Station, and the hotel has a shuttle bus that can pick up and drop off at the bus station. Highly recommended!"

"The sign in front of the hotel says it's a business hotel, but it's a stylish hotel that doesn't feel like that at all. The bathroom is a little small, but they provide POLA shampoo and conditioner, and the toilet paper has a stylish embossed design. It was more than worth the price, at around 6,000 yen for two people. If I had to say one thing, it would be that the noise from the hallway at night is a little loud."

"We had booked the Hinoki room. Upon arrival, we were told that they had already seated another guest in the Hinoki room. A woman who appeared to be the proprietress asked my wife, "We can't ask the guest who was seated in the Hinoki room to leave, what should we do?" She wouldn't even look at me when I spoke to her. She wouldn't make eye contact with us, and she was very unpleasant. Reluctantly, we were shown to the available room, Sakura. We had originally booked Hinoki because it had a sofa, but Sakura had no chairs and only a kotatsu (heated table). Unfortunately, we couldn't relax. So far, it was a disappointing inn. However, the food was normally delicious. The hot spring water was very good. The water was moisturizing, like lotion. If the proprietress's attitude had been better, it would have been an average inn, but it was a real shame."

"Although unmanned, the facilities are good. While the location is a bit far from the main city center, it's still within walking distance. The accommodations are larger than expected, which is nice."

"The Cretake Inn Hotel is located across the street from Shizuoka Station. The Annex Hotel, located right next to the railroad tracks, has a spacious parking lot and, despite being right next to the tracks, is relatively quiet. The hotel appears to have undergone a renovation, making it clean and stylish. Breakfast was particularly satisfying, and drinks, alcohol, and curry rice were provided during happy hour at 6 p.m., which was enjoyable and satisfying. Ice cream was also provided. There's a department store and grocery store nearby, making for a satisfying shopping experience. The location is convenient and well-equipped. Of course, there's also a spa, complete with a sauna. Needless to say, this hotel is state-of-the-art, and I stayed for two nights."

"The hotel is quiet even in a busy location near the main station and large offices. It is a short walk from all the services you might need and several flagship stores and department stores. From here you can easily reach the shopping and dining district of Shizuoka city. Just beside the hotel there are a restaurant and a convenience store. Rooms can be a little cramped if you have large or multiple luggage bags. The rooms could use a brighter main light and we find the ambient to be quite dusty (maybe because of the heavy use of wallpaper and carpeting). Staff is polite and helpful, but don’t expect fluent english interaction."
