The Hotel is Brand new but some basis requirements are needed to be improved. Safety is one of them, the floors are too slippery and we had an accident going to the garage by taking the stairs cause the elevator was not working. Staff is very friendly and they speak english very well. Breakfast is very poor but Ala Carte menu is good. I hope they will improve on the coming years.

Well located on one of the main streets in the city, it is a large, modern hotel with friendly staff. Rooms are very spacious and well equipped (even a kettle for making tea and coffee). Breakfast is very good and can be taken inside and outside on the terrace. Staff speak a good level of English and are very helpful. Highly recommended!

First off, i paid about €50 for the night. No idea what the quality or price point of other hotels are like in the area, but i felt this was worth the €50. Big room, big shower, friendly staff. Simple as that really! My room faced the street and that was ok. You can definitely hear traffic, but not too much... But nothing prepared me for the barking dogs during the night! They were so loud! Obviously that's nothing to do with the hotel, other travelers had the same problem in other hotels... And that hasn't impacted this review! It's more of a tip to anyone come to bring ear plugs! No idea about the pool, spa, etc. as I'd no interest in that. Breakfast was average. But it was included so can't really complain. I think it's marketed as a 5 star hotel but I'd say 4 star would be more accurate. Location wise, it's very good. 2 minute walk from the bus stop, and everything you need is on your doorstep.

Built in the center of the city and beautifully decorated,the hotel attracts many visitors:local and foreign. Orders are served with more courtesy and elegance. The food is fresh and cooked in a very professional manner. Highly recommended!

We booked the Golden Palace for the spa and hammam facilities announced on ***********. Upon arrival, the film of the pool behind the reception and inside the elevators made us want to jump in straight away… but minutes later we found out that there is no pool, no spa and no hammam. Housekeeping forgot to make up our room and it wasn’t done either after a promise to fix it. The Golden Palace deserves a higher rating if promises that can’t be kept are not made in the first place.

Loved this place. Very friendly, very modern, great spacious room and perfect location within walking distance of everything in Shkoder - can only highly recommend.

New building but a little outdated taste of deco.
Wheelchair accesible entrance was good because I am a handicapped traveler.
AC didn’t work well, had to open window so noises.
Staff were nice but didn’t pay attention to guests.
Albanians all have big heart, had a wonderful time and definitely visit again.

This was a very nice hotel to stay at. Great central location, clean rooms, very friendly staff and great breakfast. If I was every going to return to Albania I would definitely go back.
The only reason I scored it lower was due to the fact that I paid ********** for the evening and then the hotel said that they hadn't had the money and I had to pay them directly also. I had to pay twice and then claim my money back from **********. Bit of a hassle this. If i didn't claim it back would ********** just keep the money?
