My partner and I went to melia Palma bay in October 2024. Would say from the service and attitude of a few staff it was More 3* A few notes to bear in mind Pool bar often not manned and you were expected to order via the app and they bring drinks but to be honest the signal Wasn’t great and it’s frustrating having to do that. I went down to the bar which is breakfast room in the morning turned into bar later in the day but they wouldn’t let me take drinks up to the pool bar. All in all very frustrating! Also the staff that manned the bar at certain times of day were rude and unhelpful to my partner when he asked to top his beer up as low in the glass . When I asked about towels they said no towels And promptly ignored Me. Towels did come later but we had been using same towels for an hour from day before. We had a lovely stay in Palma. Beautiful place and restaurant across road called Aroma serving Indian food on beach front was absolutely beautiful. Amazing cuisine.. Would think twice about the melia Palma bay though in future. Location great for beach that may be it’s saving grace as just over the road. Very clean hotel which was important to us

Stayed here for 7 days and writing this review just after checking out, all in all a nice hotel but with some pros and cons. Cons: - Room is a LOT smaller than advertised, with just enough room to walk around the bed. We paid for a decent room and expected what was shown on the pictures for ‘our room’ category but it was false advertisement. - Building site is noisy and an eye sore while sat around the pool. I actually knew about this before we booked but looking at the pictures from previous reviews it looked like most of the structure was up so the noisy bits were finished, I was wrong. I feel they should tell people on booking about it. - No table or chairs on balcony. We paid a lot for the room too through *********** and the pictures advertised for that room were nothing like what we booked. I called reception every single day on my 7 day holiday to ask for a chair and they promised the next day we could get one, we never got one. This would be ok if there was somewhere else to sit in the room but there is nowhere other than the bed. So we lay on the bed and played cards in the evening and didn’t use the balcony. We had a sea view too, so a shame we couldn’t sit out. - Pool bar closes at 5pm, they have a beautiful bar area with a TV, couches etc really lovely but no one sits in there in the evening because the bar is shut, and in the day everyone is sat around the pool. Bit of a shame to have such a wasted space that is so nice. - No tea/coffee making facilities in the room, didn’t have a cup of tea whole holiday. - No bottled water in room (didn’t bother me as just bought a big bottle each night from supermarket) - No iron in the room so we just wore creased clothes. - Sun loungers around the pool are really uncomfortable due to a metal bar that goes across them and dig into your back there isn’t a way around it. - Maid took one of our room key cards for some strange reason. Pros: - Staff are really lovely, the receptionist, bar lady, lifeguard (who gives you the towels everyday) all really nice friendly people who can’t do enough for you. - Room is cleaned everyday. - Excellent location! A short stroll to cala major centre where you’ll find the beach and all the restaurants/super market. - Porto Pi shopping centre is a 10-15 minute walk and is AMAZING, they have Zara, Mango, Bershka, Stradivarius and more. - Palma town centre is very close just 10 mins on the number 4 bus 2 Euro per person each way. - Fresh towels everyday, we brought them to the beach too no issues. - I have to hand it to them the shower in the room is lovely. Hot water no problem. - Breakfast is lovely, I wasn’t expecting much but it was really good. If you are British don’t be expecting full English type food (which we didn’t anyway) but they have an amazing selection of cheeses, meats, breads, fruit, cookies pastries brownies even churros. They do have sausage and bacon but it’s like hot dog sausage. We really enjoyed our stay as we LOVE Cala major but per

Arrived early but room unavailable and nowhere to freshen up after flight. Friendly, welcoming reception but could only store luggage for another 4 hours until room ready. Hotel situated approximately 1 km from the Old Town overlooking the marina and at time of visit fronted by building works. Because we were there over a holiday weekend, noise was not apparent - well not from roadworks but traffic noise very intrusive when using the balcony and some raucous behavior from poolside area on the first night. Room was pleasant, clean and reasonably well appointed with a mini-bar (expensive) and digital safe. Bathroom clean but tired and over bath shower required use of safety rail as bath non-slip surface very worn. Open swimming pool located on first floor above reception area and next to restaurant. Plenty of seating outside to enjoy drinks or a meal. Friendly staff in both poolside bar and restaurant area. Breakfast serving both hot and cold buffet style was very good. Early morning check-out fast with pre-booked taxi waiting. Overall, hotel was pleasant with friendly helpful staff. Location a little run down but not too much of a walk to find restaurants and tapas bars.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the Icon Roseto - the hotel is beautifully designed and in a great location, close to lots of bars restaurants and cafes, plus within easy walking distance to the cathedral and harbour. The staff were friendly and helpful - they stored our luggage when we arrived before check in and booked a taxi for our return to the airport. The breakfast selection was great. Although the room was small it was adequate for a few nights and nicely decorated with effective air con; the bathroom was also clean and modern, although the position of the toilet between the shower and sink was not ideal, it was very squeezed in. The hotel was generally peaceful and quiet despite being so close to the centre, only on the Friday night were we disturbed by noise (doors slamming, etc), perhaps because guests had stayed out later, however it wasn't too bad. The only thing we found a little strange was the furniture in the courtyard and on the roof terrace was covered up; I'm not sure whether it was because rain was expected (although it didn't rain during our stay) but it felt a little like the areas were disused/not open and not clear as to whether they could be used by guests - a shame when they are such great spaces. Only a small niggle though, we would definitely stay at the hotel again!

We booked two twin rooms as a group of friends. We were greeted by Alexandra who was very friendly and helpful. She showed us on a map where the good places to eat were and visit. The location was great and it was extremely easy to get about on foot and also to grab a taxi and visit other areas. The pool area was really good and chilled, nice touch that they provide beach towels in your room. The room and beds were really comfortable and the shower gel/shampoo etc were great, air con worked well. We always went out for breakfast but we could have eaten in the adjoining cafe. The only negative and the reason I would not give this five stars is that you have to get your one bottle of water (per room not per person) filled up by reception. This is really strange in a four star hotel normally you are provided with fresh bottles of water every day in a hotel of this standard and I feel it lets them down. I also wish they provided proper milk for a tea and also decent coffee as it was tiny and quite bitter. However the above are small things and I would stay here again,

Majestic & Regal are two words that come to mind when describing the Can Cera Hotel. From the moment you walk inside the hotel, you know that you have found paradise! The decor to the various scents in the air, and extremely welcoming staff make you keenly aware that you have chosen the perfect home for your holiday stay. The entire staff offered exceptional service although we enjoyed getting to know Benjamin, Francisco, Jose and April. The level of care provided to make sure we had everything needed was second to none. From island recreational and cultural activities to exceptional dining was highlighted daily. We highly recommend the Can Cera hotel and we would love to return in the future.

Wow, wow, wow…. What a peaceful and serene hotel to stay in, right in the historical centre of Palma. Overlooking the Basilica de Sant Francesc and so close to the Cathedral, train station, beach and promenade, all within a 10-15 minute walk through the picturesque streets. So close and yet so quiet. The team here are one of the best we’ve had the pleasure of staying with. They go above and beyond in everything they do to make your stay a memorable one. From Blanca, Javier and Miguel in front desk, through the kitchen staff and housekeeping. Nothing is too much trouble and it’s all done with genuine pleasure and desire to make your stay a perfect one. It’s the little touches that make this place, one of the best… From the welcome drink in the inner courtyard, a perfect way to decompress from your journey. To the inclusive mini bar in your room with Molten Brown toiletries, pool towels and a pillow menu… The plunge pool on the rooftop with an honest bar and if you want wine or sangria it’s brought up to you. They have great recommendations and tips for restaurant and things to do, thanks for the advice Blanca on getting the train and tram to Soller. Plenty of choices for breakfast with a hot and cold buffet and you can order pancakes and omelettes. And then don’t forget the choice of local pastries as well. Fancy a day on the beach, they have you covered with beach umbrellas and towels, a nice touch. If you are looking for somewhere in Palma you won’t go wrong with staying here. We’ll be back and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
