I had an early flight the next morning so I chose to stay at this Marriott. I hadn't stayed there in over 15 years and I have to say, nothing has been done to upgrade this hotel at all. My first room reeked of smoke, my 2nd room must have had water damage because there was an industrial fan there with towels. Finally, I was given a 3rd room on the 2nd floor of the newer tower. It didn't smell like smoke but the cleanliness was lacking (hair in the shower, worn dirty wallpaper). The AC unit was so loud, it was hard to sleep but I guess I should be happy it worked because when I was getting keys to the various rooms, several people were at the front desk asking for room changes because the AC wasn't working. To cut to the chase, this hotel is so dated and likely stays in business because of the proximity to BUR. I'm not sure what Marriott is doing about the namesake brand but it's gone way downhill. I would not recommend you stay here unless you have an early flight.

Wonderful hotel! Staff was super friendly. Rooms are clean. Cafe is super good! Came for a universal trip, only 10 mins away from universal! It’s a good price especially for CALI! And it’s not a run down place. Parking isn’t free but it was 22 with in & our privileges which is great.

Staff were friendly, efficient and very helpful. People working here were not my issue. The actual room was (I think by looking at it) fairly recently remodeled as it was up to date and pleasant. Unfortunately this is were I can no longer be nice. The lobby was very dirty and in dire need of repair. The elevator was filthy. The location is right next to a very busy stretch of highway, and what I can only describe as a ”drag *****”. Cars raced past the motel till 3am. Extremely loud cars - imagine fast and furious.....no joke. Windows did nothing to keep any of this noise out. The Fast food place next door is the ONLY place to get ANY food. The service trucks run ALL night long to the place next door and again the noise is unbelievable. This is a motel. Your door opens out onto the walkway. The foot traffic is loud and constant. If you travel alone as I do, you do not feel safe. Sorry I know this is Burbank but to charge this much money for this motel is not right. Again the staff were very helpful and that includes the over night people, but the facility was sub-par.

I was in town for a friend's wedding and decided to book The Tangerine because of its value compared to other Los Angeles hotels, as well as its proximity to the wedding venue. The front desk staff was so friendly and helpful. We were greeted with big smiles every time we entered the lobby and were given great information about the area. Our room was nice and clean when we entered. Our one issue was the air conditioner--we had a little trouble finding the balance between keeping the room cool without running the unit constantly, but honestly, that may have just been user error. The bathroom showed its age a bit, with a crack/hole in the ceiling and a toilet that would continue running after flushing. The bed was comfortable (for a hotel bed) and the sheets were nice and soft. The Tangerine provides free parking for guests, which is a real bonus for LA/California. There are only a few spots at the front of the property which were almost always full during our stay, but there were plenty around the back. The general area of the hotel wasn't overly busy, either, despite there being so many great restaurants and businesses around, which made for a quiet and relaxing stay. A wonderful bonus was the 20% off coupon for Don Cuco's right next door. If you love Mexican food, Don Cuco's is a must try spot! Great food and ambiance. I would definitely stay here again on a future trip to Los Angeles.

PPengguna TetamuComfortable place with decent breakfast but very little soundproofing is noticeable because of crying babies, dogs, frequent sirens etc. Neighborhood is near shopping area which is nice but watch out for aggressive homeless and young, territorial, vaping men in adidas tracksuits. Good view and friendly staff as well but not really a business hotel.

PPengguna Tetamu酒店在Burbank，那裡不太有遊客，更很少見到華人，聽説這一片是華納兄弟的區域，對面有正在搭建的攝影棚，屬於很小眾的酒店。酒店裝修典雅，頗有年代感，入住的也大多是老年人，房間還是可以的，早餐較為簡單，只有貝果，酸奶，牛奶咖啡等，我讓服務員把牛奶加熱一下，需另收費5美元，如果需要雞蛋或者其他的食品都需要另收費，當然這並不是酒店的錯，但我個人認為這點上有點小氣了，畢竟房間收費1800+的價格放在那裡，早餐增加雞蛋也是合情理的，我住了6晚，真實點評！

MMelbourne32935Wife and I travel Alot. This Hotel Rates as one of the Best we stayed at. Clean, comfortable. The front desk was easy check in. Oliver was professional. No issues. The room was a upgraded room. Super clean. Quiet, room view was looking out to the mountain. TV had over 30 plus Clean direct TV channels. Netflix and pandora. Bed was super big, comfortable with multiple pillows. Bathroom had nice shower with tub. Very clean. Shower had shampoo, conditioner and liquid dispensers in the shower. Room had iron and Iron board. Plenty of desk space. Small refrigerator and microwave. Electric outlets on every wall and end tables and comfortable couch. Climate control on the wall, easy to work. Plenty of lights. Room darkening curtains. Close to all shopping and restaurants. Few miles from Burbank Airport.

Our room looked and smelled clean, but there was a pink stain on the chaise lounge, the soap tray had a brown circle of gunk on it, and there was still trash in one of the trash cans. I was not about to use an ice bucket with no bag in it, but at least the plastic cups were individually wrapped. The mini fridge was nice and cold, keeping our ice cream pints frozen and chilling out complimentary Kirkland water bottles in 20 mins.
Even though I closed the shower curtain fully, and made sure the magnets were properly attached on the inside of the tub, there was a pool of water on the floor when I came out.
The bed was decently comfortable and springy, but the bedspread was very thin and the ”fitted sheet” was a flat sheet that was too small for the bed, not covering the bottom 2 inches on the top.
The continental breakfast was full of somehow-dry danishes and chocolate filled crepes. Coffee was meh, cereal options were good, but I didn't see milk. I did see yogurt, but it didn't feel the least bit cold.

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel room and the location were as advertised, nevertheless we didn't feel the service was as expected and had the feelin the manager treats his customers with suspicion. We reserved a one bedroom suite with a King-size bed and a sofa bed for 4 people (myself, my wife and 2 children). This is the first time I've seen a hotel only leaves one pillow for the sofa bed. We requested extra pillows on our first night and were denied them because ”they didn't have enough of them” (first time I've heard such a thing), then the next day when we went directly to the front desk, we were questioned how many people we had in the room as if our request was because we were sneaking people in. In the end we got the extra pillows, but we were surprised by the initial response. Then when we wanted to check out, the person in charge of the front desk seemed annoyed that we didn't just drop off the keys but also wanted a receipt. He also didn't act cooperative when we requested to check the credit card number of the voucher. Only when we got annoyed was that he started to be more cooperative. Frankly, I am surprised that a front desk clerk does not know some of his customers are international travelers and want to review all the information because it might be problematic for us to request changes in case of a mistake. We had no other problem with room cleaning and didn't use other facilities. The vending machines did not have sodas, could be an issue of restocking. Overall, while the stay was OK, because of our interactions with the hotel services staff, we would not really recommend it.

Great stay. Upon booking our reservation, the agent was very helpful. We had a smooth check in. Staff was warm and friendly. The room was clean. The king size beds were comfortable and cozy. Location is close to many great restaurants. We will definitely be staying here again.
