Rambutan Resort – Siem Reap

Writing If you’re looking for a comfy place to stay in SR, Rambutan is undoubtedly a great choice. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly, and the rooms are very comfortable and beautifully designed. The location is superb—tucked away in a prime area of SR while still being close to everything. I would definitely recommend this place!

The hotel was very nice and it was relaxing to swim in the pool and have a nice drink after long hot days. The food was decent. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. I especially loved the bathtub on the balcony. The bed was comfortable as well.

Not my first time in this lovely resort, always nice to come back. Very welcoming, close to the buzz, friendly service and very affordable. Will definitely be back soon!

I have to say, this hotel was really great! This was my first trip to Siem Reap and also my first time staying at Rambutan Resort. After looking at many different hotels, I finally decided to stay here for one night, and I’m very happy with my choice. The weather in Siem Reap was very hot and rainy during my stay. When I arrived at the hotel, I was welcomed with a cold herbal drink, which was very refreshing after being outside in the heat. My room was on the ground floor, close to the swimming pool. At first, I was a little worried that it might be noisy, but once I went inside the room, it was actually very quiet and I was not disturbed by any noise from the pool. The room had a minibar and everything I needed. The bed was big and very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked really well. Because it was so hot and rainy outside, I ended up spending almost the whole afternoon relaxing in my room and enjoying the comfortable bed. Overall, it was a really good experience and I would definitely recommend Rambutan Resort. For the price, I think it is very good value for money, and I would be happy to stay here again when I visit Siem Reap. P.S. There may be a few mosquitoes around, but not too many. If you have any problem with mosquitoes in your room, you can also ask the staff to help get rid of them.

I have stayed at the Rambutan five or six times over the last eight years and was always impressed. This time, I booked a two-story poolside room but was told I had been "upgraded" to a smaller room that wasn't poolside. They had obviously done this because they didn't want to run the second half of the hotel — the other side was very dusty and empty because it was low season. But instead of telling me the truth, they tried to make out that they had upgraded me. The rooms and the whole place felt much more run down than before. The local staff tried hard to justify what they had done, but the foreign owner just dismissed me as if it was a meaningless problem. Very disappointed after being a loyal customer for over six years. I will never be going back. Thanks a lot, Rambutan.

This place has dropped off a lot. Running down. Needs a good clean. We booked a 2 floor pool side room and told we were ",upgraded" to a different smaller room. Obviously, this was just so they only have to maintain one side of the hotel in the off season. Pretty disappointed. Stayed here 5 times over the years, will never be back. The local staff did there best. Their foriegn manager clearly doesn't care anymore. It's a shame that a once lovely hotel and gone down hill so much.

I've got a very good and memorable experience at this hotel. Very stylish design and cosy rooms. The only issue: the prices on minibar are ridiculous: I had to pay 2 dollars for a bottle of water 😐

Wonderful hotel, stylish inside and outside interior, friendly staff, delicious Cousine in the restaurant. Highly recommend
