Shintana Saya Residence

What a little paradise this hotel is! Outstanding service, very friendly staff, fantastic rooms, and perfect location to use as a starting to explore Ankor Wat. I usually never write reviews but in this case I had to. Thanks a lot to the team - we had wonderful 3 days.

One of the best hotel experiences I've had, and definitely the best value for money. The staff and service are incredible. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. And the food is remarkably good. Extended our stay from 2 to 4 nights -- we'd originally planned to spend our last 2 nights at the Park Hyatt Siem Reap, but realized we were enjoying the Shintana just the same for 1/5th the price. I couldn't recommend the place any more strongly.

호텔 직원들도 친절하고 가자마자 웰컴 드링크, 수건 주셔서 시원하게 체크인했어요. 객실로 과일도 가져다주시고 좋았습니다! 조식은 1개 메뉴 주문 가능한데 양은 넉넉하지만 메뉴가 많지 않았고 맛은 그냥 나쁘지 않았어요. 수영장이 좀 작은 게 흠이었어요. 서비스로 제공받은 마사지는 저는 괜찮았는데 친구는 별로였다고 하고 이틀차에는 받지 않고 보디아 갔어요. 전반적으로 괜찮었지만 수영장이 좀 작고 들어가는 입구가 험해서 다음에는 여기 말고 이 호텔과 자매?호텔인 곳에서 지내보고 싶네요.

What a beautiful place to stay in Siem Reap. We have been so fortunate to spend 3 days at the Shintana Saya Residence . From the moment we arrived we have been looked after so well by the wonderful staff. Everyone has been so friendly and the service provided has been the best we have experienced. Our room has been amazing and the facilities have been first class all the way. Close to Angkor Wat and other major attractions, the hotel made getting around in Siem Reap very easy for us with their Tuk-Tuk and transfer services, Set In beautifully maintained tropical gardens with a crystal clear pool and outdoor dining area it has been an oasis to return to after a day’s sightseeing. We will always stay at the Shintana Saya Residence when we next return to this beautiful country.

Everything was wonderful. Beautiful setting, clean and big rooms (the entire hotel only has 9 rooms so it is very private and lovely), and beyond amazing staff. Perfect place for a relaxing time. Got a bottle of wine and lovely treats on arrival (great free airport pickup service also!). Thank you.

We stayed in this beautiful boutique hotel for 4 nights and had an amazing time. From their airport pickup service we were treated like royalty! The hotel is a few min from the temples so our commute to the temples were quick and easy. The hotel has only 9 rooms so the service you receive is very attentive and friendly. Oh and their breakfast pho was my favorite dish in their menu!

A VIP residence in a fancy villa, much more than a hotel. Very unique in Siem Reap. I had a large room, #555, at the ground floor with a lushly garden view. Splendid hard wood floorings. Very high ceilings. The beds are extremely comfy. The staff is anticipating. I liked the exclusive breakfast a la carte, and the long and lovely pool. Minibar and laundry are provided FOC ! It has complimentary tuk tuk to the city center, located less than 10 minutes away. 👍👍👍😃

I was scheduled to be in Siem Reap for only 3 nights to do the same thing that most people do... Angkor Wat, Bayon and other temples. I chose Shintana Saya because of how beautiful it appeared surrounded by lush greenery. Even though the airport is one hour away, as soon as I booked by room, I received a message from the resort inquiring about whether I would like a free airport transfer. Of course, I said yes. The driver was there at the airport waiting for us with a clear sign. Once we got into the vehicle he offered us cool towels infused with eucalyptus and fresh coconuts to drink. It was already the start of a fantastic trip. When we got to the resort, the staff greeted us warmly and gave us a welcome drink while they took our bags to our rooms. Once I got to my room I found a beautiful welcome arrangement that included fresh fruit and cheese and a bottle of wine. My room was lovely with a giant king size bed, high ceilings and art that was reminiscent of all of the history in Cambodia. Although we had an excursion extremely early the next morning, the staff ensured that we had a to go breakfast packed. They also ensure that they understand your day so that you are never bothered by someone servicing your room or conducting turn down service. When we did have breakfast after the second night, we were spoiled with choices. The traditional breakfast is a clear winner and Lalin in the restaurant is always super attentive and ensures that all of your dietary restrictions are taken care of. My highlights were the iced coffee, passion fruit juice and the rice porridge with sea food and a salt egg. Between the excellent hospitality, being only 8 minutes from the city center (and providing a free tuk tuk to ride there and charging a nominal ($3) fee to return) and close to so many archeological sites Shintana Saya was the perfect place to stay while I was in Siem Reap!
