Banana Resort

Ich bin normalerweise nicht der Typ, der Bewertungen schreibt. Aber der Service von Caroline hat mich total begeistert! Sie leitet das Ressort mit Herz und Seele und war eine unglaubliche Unterstützung bei der Organisation der Besuche. Der Bungalow war groß, der Pool und Garten super gepflegt. Das Essen in dem Restaurant richtig lecker. Jederzeit gerne wieder, Peter 

It was better than expected! The house is very comfortable, practical and cozy: the large beds, the bathroom with all the utilities and kitchen allowed us feel at home. The garden was nicely decorated with orchids, mango trees and frangipani trees. The pool was big and cristal clear. The kids really enjoyed and passed their time in the pool. The food was great, delicious. Breakfast was absolutely delicious: fresh baby bananas, mangoes, dragon fruit, papaya,fresh fruit juice, banana cake and salty dishes (my mouth is still drooling). Last but not least, Caroline is a great host, welcoming you in her "nest" open arms, serving you the best cocktails, supporting local producers and employees, and all respecting the nature and the environment. Really appreciated my stay, we will definitely be back!

My family and I did not stay at this resort but we were able to enjoy the pool and the bar. It was nice and beautiful, the owner was great and helpful during our stay. I will definitely stay here if I ever get to go back to enjoy the country.

Our stay at Banana Resort was nothing short of spectacular. The resorts functional 2 bedroom villa design catered adequately for a two couple stay and combined with its top-notch amenities, made for a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. The promotional material and photos were exactly as we found the resort upon arrival. The attentive and courteous staff catered to our every need, ensuring that our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Proprietor & Mine Host Caroline provides an environment conducive to extreme levels of customer service by herself and her staff, in a very compassionate and caring manner. Each performed their duties with passion and a smile which was always admired. The Banana Resort staff were: Cleaners - Pov & Tola Breakfast - Touch Cooks - Chaney & Phearoth Gardener - Pheareah Security Guard Panha We were thoroughly impressed by the cleanliness of the villa, gardens, sparkling swimming pool, quality of the food, dietary requests and menu choices from the kitchen staff which made for an impeccable resort experience. We have every intention to return again sometime in the future.

We had such a lovely stay. The villa is very well equipped. We were extremely comfortable. The breakfast every morning is just too delicious. We were spoilt the choice. My wife can’t take gluten or dairy, and, even though we didn’t expect it, we were well catered for with soya milk and gluten-free bread available. This was a really kind and thoughtful touch. The staff could not do enough for us. The pool is lovely. The location is fine, easy to find and we can just get a Grab (tuk-tuk or car) anywhere. The only problem I have is, I don't know when I can return! But it will definitely be soon. Thank you again to the owner and her excellent staff.

Spent a few days at Banana Resort this January. Comfortable and spacious villas, lovely garden and pool area, and tasty breakfast and restaurant. Most importantly, Caroline, is a wonderful host who makes her guests feel comfortable, is available to with detailed itinerary planning, and solves problems creatively.

Absolute Bliss!!! a hidden gem nestled in tropical gardens close to town. After 30 years of extensive travelling.. the most divine breakfast I have ever had.. french omelette, delicious homemade preserves, freshly baked breads, french crepes, huge fresh fruit platter, steaming coffee and juice, home made cakes all included in price. The bar menu is also impressive, khmer red curry was just amazing.. had it every night.. huge servings with generous chicken breast and luscious sauce..you gotta try it! most family friendly resort, lots of toys, highchairs, cots, beds etc. Very comfortable beds and villas scrupulously clean, functional and tastefully furnished. The cleanest sparkliest pool in siem reap.. owner is onsite and is super kind and helpful. Staff are very happy and always smiling! Mohitos were first class too! we originally booked a week but loved it so much we extended our visa and booked a month!! Just perfect!

My girlfriend and I stayed at Banana Resort in Jan 2019 and loved it and the owner Caroline so much that we returned in Dec 2022. She is so accommodating and the villas are very spacious and comfortable! We especially love the personal touches Caroline adds such as packing us snacks for the Angkor Wat temples at sunrise. We will never return to Siem Reap without returning to Banana Resort!

Thank you Caro and your fantastic team for having us at the beautiful haven that is Banana Resort - truly 'A Little Nest'. Delicious food (superb breakfast and fantastic dishes) - we ended up eating at 'home' more than going out. We enjoyed our time so much and felt so welcome that we ended up staying an extra day and night. We were travelling with a 3 month old baby and 3 year old toddler - perfect place for kids. Fantastic amenities, clean, spacious, and superbly appointed - from the cocktails to the laundry. Merci Caro - we will definitely be coming again and will recommend you to our friends and family.
