Ulasan Sokhalay Angkor Villa Resort

A nice resort with villas and a big pool suitable both for children and adults. Birds' songs wake you up in the morning. A nice buffet breakfast gives a good start for the day. Chill at the pool or soak in a bath after a full day of adventures around Siemreap. A bike or tuktuk to the center is about 10 minutes. But Grab or other deliveries can bring delicacies right to your door. Unfortunately the gym and kids playground were not available (probably due to low tourist season). The staff were always willing to help and no request went without immediate attention.

I’m super happy with my stay. I specifically searched for a hotel with gym amenity, but unfortunately when I arrived the staff told me it was closed. So, I had to look one in the city. Additionally, they didn’t clean the room every day.

One of the worst stays and I do not recommend to stay here. Problems: Breakfast - big layout but not many choices, they know how to make it look big but when it comes to good options limited to soup and egg. Villas are build in huge area but looks like public area, walk way, stairs to climb up to Villa was not cleaned for months. Full of dead leaves, dust. No maintenance. Villa is very old and requires lot of renovation. Lots of mosquitoes probably because of not proper cleaning, lake water breeding mosquitoes. They should clean the lake and public area regularly. First Villa given had hard bed, it was like sleeping on stone, bed sheet with strains. Had to complain and they quickly changed the room. Far from city center, have to take tuktuk to go anywhere. Staff will try to avoid speaking to you probably due to language, only few people can speak English and they are always ready to listen and help but communicating with rest is very difficult. Staff has good attitude and willing to help and service but limited by language.

My family’s first choice to stay in Siem Reap is Sokhalay Angkor Hotel

The stay was amazing, but there were a bit waiting while arrival and seem confused the room. The room I booked were villa garden, but the hotel recorded the standard room, however, the issue was resolved.

Big resort with fresh and beautiful open space. Suitable for family stay or business trip. Breakfast is good but can improve more. Overall, great stay experience.

The room is so clean and the swimming pool is so big. My kids really enjoy staying here. Breakfast also good.. view in the hotel just amazing, nice for ootd. Will come back again..

I spent 4 days in this hotel. it was so good. Nobody can see that kind of swimming pool 😊 Thank you for everything 😊

Relaxing and fresh, love. 

Unfriendly and no cleaning room on time...restaurants closed nothing to drink... angkor wat was really nice but outside trash everywhere.. everyone try to cheat you.. really bad experience... lots lots better in thailand. People are so fri3ndly and air-conditioned everywhere

It’s a unique stay with Khmer style and I liked there. Big pool.

The hotel is super big. Not suitable for people who need special care/ wheelchair
