A brand new hotel which is very clean and staffs are helpful as well. We arrived in the early morning and they had tried their best to release our room as soon as possible. The room is big and comfortable, breakfast is also nice and got changing daily. Strongly recommend for couple or family with kids.

Very nice and reasonably priced hotel. The location is quite good, easy to walk to the National Museum, some little shops and restaurants nearby, or you can just grab a Tuk Tuk and go wherever. I didn’t try breakfast but I went for lunch at their restaurant. The food and price was very good, in addition you can get 25 % discount coupon for the restaurant when checking in. The room was clean and everything was standard and nice. The only thing I missed was more electricity outlets by the bed. I was in a twin room and there was only one socket to plug in phone, and other devices to charge. Overall was happy with my stay.

This hotel and its amazing staff are out of this world. This was the most pleasant, enjoyable stay of our entire life. The hotel is lovely, really charming and clean. The room was enormous, bright and well insulated and the breakfast was nice. The staff was over the top, really there are no words, they made us feel very welcomed and at home there! The bar at the pool is also amazing. We were also given a very nice breakfast for our 4am Angkor Wat tour and the staff even offered to call a tuktuk for us to visit the ruins another day. A tip: do not miss out the restaurant!!!! It is absolutely delicious! Had we known our stay was gonna be so pleasant, we would have booked for more days! It is definitely our go-to hotel and we are looking forward to going again hopefully soon. We've been to many nice hotels in many different coutries and no one is even close to this one. While looking for hotels in Seam Reap we saw a lot of nice options and the key point that made us go for this one were the reviews about the amazing staff. Well, let me tell you that no review really truly can reflect how cozy, comfortable and happy you'll feel there. We were over the moon with this hotel and recommend it 100000%!!!!

We booked for 1 month but stayed for 3 weeks and left. I wasn't actually planning to write a comment, but the manager's rude and insincere attitude forced me to write a comment; -The pool was not cleaned for 1 month -There is only one pan in the kitchen and I think it is at least 6-7 years old. Welcome cancer... -In the morning, smoke from the chimney of the Italian restaurant next door fills the room. -The rooms are dark and there is not enough lighting -The sheets and pillowcases are stained, and cat-sized mice are crawling around where they wash and hang them. -In general, there is a big hygiene problem, we bought cleaning supplies from the nearby market and cleaned our room ourselves. -Television and air conditioning controls do not work, the television in the bedroom does not work. As a hotel owner myself, the last thing I can say is that it is not a place to stay for a long time, it is a business with potential due to its building and location, but unfortunately it has been entrusted to the wrong hands.

Hotel yang sangat bagus. Penilaian persekitaran dan gambar sangat sedikit. Tidak ada perbezaan dalam sarapan. Banyak jenis makanan sedap. Bangun pagi untuk melihat matahari terbit. Anda juga boleh mengambil makanan ringan untuk keluar. Cukup buat tempahan sehari lebih awal. Pada waktu pagi, anda juga boleh berlatih yoga di bilik. Lokasinya juga sangat bagus. Anda boleh berjalan ke jalan bar setiap hari untuk bermain dan kembali ke sana untuk makan dan mengurut. Kedai pencuci mulut merah bersih di pintu ps sangat sedap.

On the plus side, great location, friendly staff, the rest, well very tired rooms, shower had 2 wires tied together over the top, lots of unwelcome guests ants cockroaches , maybe to be expected in this climate, window didn't close, latch broken, air con control didn't work, possibly preset? Only there for 3nights to get head down. Bed comfy, bedding clean, room cleaned every day to some extent. Don't believe the photos, they don't match at, pool dirty with floating light attached to wires! Lots of rubbish behind gates at side of hotel. Big shout out to staff who where helpful and polite. Ok if you are prepared for it at the price.

カンボジア１２回目。価格は低いが、冷蔵庫がよく冷える。クーラーが日本製　カンボジアでは重要　 日本語で対応出来るスタッフがずっと近くにいるので、異文化の不安を学生は取り除ける。　旅先で対面する人々が日本語で話せるというのは、大変重要。近くにコンビニ、ランドリー　１KG－１ドルがあり、おいしく静かなレストランも多い。中心地より２ドル程度やすい。１食２－５ドル。部屋も広く　タオルは取り替えたければ、自分で取りに行く、水も備えてあるが　追加は自分で取りに行くことができる。おまけにコーヒーもサービス　水も　プールは水がきれい、驚いた。　ネットワーク８０M を入れているだけあり、仕事もできる。 部屋の広さ、清潔さは申し分ない。　日本人には生活しやすい地域にある　親切な宿。 これまでこのホテルの５倍くらいのところに泊まっていたが、あれは何段だったんだろうと思う。気を使って英語でやり取りし　過ごすホテル、結構疲れました。庭には机椅子があり、のんびりもできる。

I can't recommend Smiley guesthouse highly enough!! Words cannot express how amazing and genuinely kind Sopheap, Nin and all their staff are. My father was staying at Smiley Guesthouse when he fell ill. Sopheap and his staff took my father to hospital, cared for him like family, brought him food and called me with updates while I was in London. When I arrived in Siem Reap, Sopheap acted as a translator for me with the police, came with me to the hospital, arranged transport, made phone calls, and helped me to organise a funeral which he and other staff attended as friends. This was all alongside running his guesthouse which was very busy and asking for nothing in return. Smiley guesthouse has the greatest hospitality you could ever ask for as well as great local knowledge. It is located very centrally, has its own tuk tuk driver who is very friendly and safe, very affordable rooms and a lovely pool. There is a very friendly and welcoming vibe, and the guesthouse is close to lots of traditional Cambodian restaurants for food, as well as a 2 minute walk to a cafe that does great Western style breakfast/brunch/lunch. If you stay here you will be supporting a beautiful family who will make sure you have a great stay. I hope to return one day under better circumstances and wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Cute little hotel and the price is right. Rooms are a little worn but very clean. Beds are firm but clean and comfortable enough. They provide a small amount of bottled water daily as well as a small plate of fresh fruit each day, which is nice touch. Staff at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. Laundry is $1/kg and returned the same day if you drop it off in the morning. The pool is cool, clean and great for refreshing after a hot day at the temples. The area is quite walkable and there are good restaurants very close by, including a nice French cafe for brunch just down the street. However - we had an electronic item stolen from our room while we were there. The staff were remarkably unconcerned when we reported it, and we didn't even hear from a manager. So learn from our mistake and don't fall for the ”family owned” vibe - either they have staff who can't be trusted or their security is so lacking that people are breaking in from outdoors. Either use the safe (although we all know those are dubiously secure too) or take your valuables with you when you go out.

Very good location to food and attractions in Siem Reap. Front desk service is excellent, special mention to Thairath and another boy who was on night duty. Room is very clean and comfortable. We booked Sunbok room which was supposed to be bigger and have a swing but our room didn't come with it :( Value for money with price.
