Hotel Simi Valley dengan Sarapan

I have stayed multiple times and all rooms were nice and clean, beds are actually comfortable, showers have pretty weak pressure but are nice and hot, service is great and fast and the staff is friendly and quick. Not to mention it's one of the cheapest in Simi Valley. Will definitely stay again.

I booked this hotel based upon three facts. I am an IHG Rewards Member. I trust the ”Holiday Inn' brand, and it was in close proximity to a few places my dad and I wanted to visit on a long planned father/son trip. I immediately knew I had made a mistake when we arrived and the entrance door to the room was on the outside of the building, not the inside. It looked more like a ”rent by the hour” type motel. There was nearly a one inch gap between the bottom of the entrance doorway and the floor. The furniture inside the room was worn and dated. The mattresses weren't ”Holiday Inn” quality. Housekeeping showed up after 6:30 one evening and copped and attitude when we told them all we needed were towels and wash cloths as we were checking out the next morning. The only reason this review gets two stars as opposed to one is the breakfast service. The lady who worked the dining room did an OUTSTANDING job. I'm sure whatever she is being paid, it isn't enough. I wouldn't complain if it weren't for the price we were charged for the room. Perhaps they were taking advantage of a couple of guys from out of town, I don't know. Regardless, they charged WAY too much for what we received! If I am ever in Simi Valley again and I will certainly seek out another option!

The breakfast is absolutely the best of any motel...especially the ”choose your own ingredients” omelettes. The Best Western Posada Royale is clean, the entire staff is friendly and helpful, and the courtyard--with its flowers, pool, and water feature--is beautiful.

Great surrounding businesses suck as Makenna’s coffee! Location was perfect for us because we have a big family and we were very close to our relatives home. My experience overall was fine. The staff is extremely cold, when you ask them questions they do seems very bothered. Unfortunately on my trip, a family members necklace was left behind in the room, and when we called to ask if they could go to the room (same day we checked out) the lady’s response was “ it’s already been cleaned and your necklace is likely in the vacuum cleaner already, sorry I can’t help you” What a mean and nasty way to respond. I was highly disappointed in her lack of interest in even TRYING to help. Other than the disengaged staff and lack of knowledge when trying to get a room away from the elevators and ice machine but getting a room next to elevator. It’s fine.

We had requested a quiet room and generally we prefer the top floor so that we don't hear people walking around. This place has a problem with their third floor. The first room we were shown faced the freeway and the on-ramp and you could hear the freeway noise. I-118 is busy all night. Then we were shown a room on the third floor and told the ”fan” was a bit noisy in that room. Since we thought she was referring to the fan in the bathroom, we thought no problem, Since there was someone cleaning the carpets in the next room you couldn't hear anything. else at the time. Upon returning in he evening, we realized that the ”fan” she had been talking about was equipment on the roof which was constant noise. The front desk when asked about the noise told us, ”oh we get complaints about the noise in that area of the hotel.” She was helpful and we ended moving to another room at the other end of the hall. It still had noise from the roof but not as bad. The entire hotel needs a major overall. The windows in all the rooms were filthy on the outside. Remote after remote were dead. My recommendation, for a few more dollars stay at another hotel. It is a one star hotel that charges like it is a 3 star. Oh and no take and go breakfast. Won't stay here again.

Where do I begin? When we arrived to our room, the bathroom had human hair all over the tub and dog hair all over the floor and on the walls. I went to the front desk and they were going to send someone to clean it again while we were out. Came back, office confirmed it was cleaned again but the bathroom looked the same with all the hair. Also want to mention, someone wrapped a plastic trash bag around the smoke detector. On top of this being extremely unsafe, you would think the cleaning person would notice and remove it. They switched me to another room. Guys right next to us ended up smoking ********* in their doorway and the smell was coming into our room. I have a young daughter who kept asking what that smell was. Again, went to the office and yes she told them they can’t smoke there but that didn’t really stop them. They also kept their door open a crack all day long and into the night. I definitely didn’t feel safe especially since it was only me and my daughter. Not to mention the creeper hanging out in his car watching us walk to our room. I asked to speak to the manager but her hours were 11pm-6am. I stopped at the front desk at 5:30 am before heading out somewhere. The manager gave me 2 options. Pack my belongings at 5:30 am (we were leaving for the day) and leave it in my rental car and MAYBE they can get me yet another room when I get back OR just check out with no where to go. I didn’t find those options to be reasonable or fair. She gave me a generous $25 refund on a 5 night stay for all the trouble. Stay away from this hotel! Yes, you get what you pay for but rooms should be thoroughly cleaned before a new guest arrives and safety should never be compromised!
