We are senior citizens couple and enjoyed stay at Mermaid Resort for 4 nights. The entire stay was simply excellent. The location was beautiful and in front of beach. The room was clean and liked the village style furniture which was neat and tidy. Open space outside the room was full of beautiful flower plants. It was like your home in village. Food was delicious and prepared with fresh vegetables and fish. We enjoyed most of the authentic kokani dishes like Shevya, Modak, Ghavane, Fish fry etc. All the staff members were very cooperative and were prompt to extend their services with smiles. Three cheers to Mermaid Team. We will visit you again .... and again

The hotel’s USP is the location just next to the beach. While we stayed there the common area and one of the rooms facing the sea was under maintenance. The rooms are spacious and the toilets are clean. It has an AC but the balcony which is sea facing was closed due to maintenance works. The staff is good and courteous and the food is delicious. There are not ***y options around the vicinity. The TV in the room was dysfunctional as set-top box was not charged up and the owner was not around the corner. Rooms are a bit pricey for the price. Mobile network is not available in this area.
