Swissotel the Stamford

It's a 5 star hotel. But there were so many people that it felt like it was just a 4 star hotel. You must check in yourself. The staff just standing near the door didn't help at all. The pool is very small, still need to share with another hotel. There were so many people at the pool that it was surprising.so scary actually ☹️ Good location and conveniently close to many tourist attractions, there are many malls nearby.

I booked one premier room with 2 double beds. The room view was awesome facing the MBS.

Perfect location, connected from MRT. But staff is less friendly and less welcoming. Bathroom is somewhat old and there was a plumbing issue, although room overall has been renovated and looked new.

It was a great pleasure to have a night stay at Swissotel The Stamford. The hotel's location was incredibly convenient, as it was just a short walk from City Hall MRT station. Upon entering the room, I was captivated by the breathtaking view of the iconic Marina Bay Sands. It truly showcased one of Singapore's most famous attractions, leaving a lasting impression on me as a tourist. The breakfast experience was exceptional, with a wide variety of restaurants to choose from. Since our stay was for three nights, we had the opportunity to try different cuisines served in different establishments. It was a delightful and refreshing experience, and the attentive hotel staff ensured that all our needs were promptly taken care of, for which we are truly grateful.

From the moment we arrived, the level of service we received was exceptional. The concierge service, starting from our journey from the airport, was seamless and made us feel genuinely welcome. Our room, with its breathtaking view of Marina Bay, provided a romantic setting for our special occasion. The surprise anniversary cake thoughtfully provided added a sweet and unexpected touch to our celebration. The hotel's central location, surrounded by museums and shopping malls, coupled with easy access to the subway, made exploring Singapore convenient and enjoyable. The overall service, including the concierge and other amenities, significantly contributed to the overall pleasure of our stay. Evenings spent at SKAI Bar were a highlight, thanks to the stunning views and relaxed ambiance. I would recommend future guests make advance reservations to ensure a smooth experience. Location is good, very close to mrt and also the mall, with lots of food to choose, and convenience store and mcdonalds. The view is good too, overlooking the whole of marina bay in the bay view rooms. But the room is quite old style although it is refurbished a few years ago. The crucial problem is the drainage system of the bath tub and sink is quite bad, causing the water to flow away very slowly. I guess it is because the hotel is built in the 80s. Another thing is the shower and the bath tub is built in together, which is quite rare to see in hotels, esp. 5 stars ones. And there is no door in the shower/bath tub, when you showered, the water will inevitably spilt onto the floor causing it to be very slippery and dangerous. And it took many hours for the floor to dry up. Service is so so. You have to do your own check-in using the computer counter, which is ok and common due to cut down of staff. But usually guests could not finish the check in themselves and have queries, but there is only 1 to 2 staff during peak hours, causing a long queue and it took even longer than normal check in with staff. On top of that, I randomly found out that there was a "Clean for green" promotion, you got a $20 credit for dining/spa etc if you do not need your room to be cleaned. This is a good promotion but there is no staff to inform the guest or no notice in the room. If I were not waiting for my friend in the lobby and randomly looking at the screen, I would have missed it. In fact I would normally not require cleaning of the room during stay of consecutive nights, but due to lack of staff informing me, I ended up missing the 1st night.

Very convenient location across red and green lines. Living at high floors will experience wonderful city views.

We really enjoyed our stay. Service was good and location is the best. Very clean and view was insanely beautiful. Thank you for helping us to create good memories in SG＜3
