Hotel di Jalan Orchard, Singapura

Bilik ini sangat kecil, tetapi ia mempunyai segala-galanya. Ia terletak bersebelahan dengan Orchard Road dan kereta bawah tanah adalah harga yang berpatutan. Di sebelahnya ialah Pacific Rim Hotel yang sangat popular. Saya tidak dapat mencarinya. Ia berada di lorong, dan pintu utama terletak di belakang jalan utama. Bilik dibersihkan setiap hari, tetapi katilnya sedikit lembap. Ia mungkin disebabkan oleh cuaca di Singapura. Ia agak lembap. Perkhidmatan ini secara amnya OK. Saya tidak pergi ke pelbagai kemudahan di tingkat 10. Saya tidak boleh mengulas mengenainya kerana saya tidak bersarapan. Hiasan keseluruhannya berwarna ungu. Ia berjarak 5 minit berjalan kaki ke laluan kereta api bawah tanah TE dan ES di persimpangan. Anda pada asasnya boleh mencapai semua tarikan (mengadu bahawa kereta bawah tanah Singapura agak mahal). Hotel ini mempunyai air botol. Tidak ada yang istimewa kecuali ia kecil, tetapi ia boleh diterima untuk menjadi kecil di tempat di mana setiap inci tanah adalah berharga. Upon arrival, we requested luggage stands and were told they would be sent to our room. However, after waiting for some time, I received a call informing me that none were available and that they would not be able to provide even one. We had five checked-in suitcases, so this was extremely inconvenient. In the end, we had to place our luggage in every available corner of the suite just to make space. Additionally, when I called to follow up, the staff member did not sound pleasant and simply told me there was nothing they could do. This was very disappointing, especially as it’s our first time experiencing such poor service at a hotel.

Things to improve on: Took some time to locate the lobby from carpark lift. They should put a notice that the lobby is accessible from Level 2 Terrace. Check in was a bit slow. Staff did not explain anything about in-room dining credit, amenities, wifi, breakfast timing. Really zero. The only 2 things she did was: showed us to our room, told us about the air con temperature. The in room bar didn’t mention which is free and which are chargeable. Everything we had to ask before it was clarified. It was like a QnA session. Noticed a Caucasian lady had a welcome drink but we didn’t…. Yeah, we Asian lol. Nevermind that we are Singaporeans. What they did well: Cleanliness was good. Room was clean, no weird smells. Breakfast was very value for money and tasted good. The staff working at the restaurant are quite good. They did give us a small cake to celebrate our wedding anniversary. In room dining came quite quickly. Swimming pool water didn’t smell of chlorine and it was warm. Overall, I would say the interaction with the local and Asian staff are very good but not so for the rest. The rest are so clueless and unsure of what bare minimum service was. I guess you can read between the lines.

What I really like are the size of the room and breakfast. The local cuisines are authentic, like laksa & pranakan food. During our stay, our toilet was severely clogged a few times which caused water leakages. Otherwise, the stay would have been much better.

Had a pleasant stay with my family. The service was good and the staff were friendly. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, which was great for the whole family. The hotel also provides a free shuttle bus to Orchard Road and Stevens MRT, making it very convenient to get around Singapore. Another plus point is the 7-Eleven located downstairs, perfect for grabbing snacks, drinks, or daily essentials anytime. Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay. Would recommend for families visiting Singapore.

Stayed at Mama Shelter Singapore on Orchard Road and had such a fun stay! We arrived early after dragging big luggage from the MRT in Singapore’s heat, so getting an early check-in from Pang, the lovely Thai front desk staff, was such a relief. She made a very good first impression and was super warm and welcoming. The hotel looks exactly like the photos online — stylish boutique vibes, cool air-conditioning, trendy lobby space, and a lively atmosphere. The restaurant downstairs also looked really interesting. Pang told us it’s a French restaurant offering a promotional burger + caviar set for just SGD39! We already had plans so didn’t get to try it, but the evening ambiance, music, and crowd looked so tempting, fun, and lively 😂🤣 All the staff we met were friendly, helpful, and approachable throughout the stay. The room felt new, comfortable, and cozy with strong water pressure and great air-conditioning. One small thing though — the dark-toned design and halogen lighting make dust very visible, so I think housekeeping will need to work hard to keep everything spotless 😅 Location-wise, it’s very convenient. The hotel has its own parking lot and it’s within walking distance to Orchard Road, making it easy to hop on buses or explore around. Very close to Somerset MRT Station too. Right opposite the hotel you can find local breakfast spots like Killiney Kopitiam and several other local eateries. Personally, I tried Fook Kin just across the road — their char siu roast pork rice and shrimp wonton noodle soup were so good! You can choose mee kia (thin noodles) or mee pok (thicker noodles). The Malaysian male server there was also very friendly. Another thing we really appreciated was the late check-out arrangement. Since our flight was after 8 PM, we asked if we could keep one room longer and the hotel kindly granted us a late check-out until 2 PM. We actually left around 1 PM+, and it helped us so much. After long walks around New Bahru, buses around the city, exploring Fort Canning Park, and walking nonstop under Singapore’s scorching heat and humidity this week 😅😅, being able to return for a proper shower and short rest before heading to the airport made a huge difference. Overall, a very enjoyable and lively stay in Singapore. Would definitely come back again!

The room was newly renovated and one of the main reasons I booked this hotel was for the bathtub, which did not disappoint. The room was very clean and equipped with smart facilities, making the stay comfortable overall. However, the location was quite inconvenient. It’s at least a 10-minute uphill walk from Paragon, unless you cut through the buildings from Far East Plaza. There are also no nearby convenience stores, which made getting essentials a hassle. The restaurants within the hotel also appeared to be closed during my stay. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t consider staying here again unless I planned to spend the entire day in the hotel and rely on GrabFood for meals.

Amazing staycation here in SG with you Mercure Hotel. The cleanliness and good services with your staff, especially the receptionist staffs damn so accommodating and very well considerate to all the customers, they offer us a snacks while staying in the lobby for some instances with my partner, they’ve a rapor to their customer. Highly recommended this hotel. Surely, we will be back here in SG I’ll choose this hotel again. Keep it up! Good Services at its finest services. ＜3
