the facilities, the breakfast and a Spanish girl at the reception was the best, the rest I don't think I would return or recommend, everything started bad from the first minute I set foot in the reception, an employee yelling and humiliating in front of all the customers to a receptionist….. then another girl at the reception literally treated me as a liar…. I made the reservation with trip.com and I reserved two nights with breakfast, I paid for that obviously, but the girl at the reception told me over and over again that this was not the case, not even showing the reservation confirmation, she made me feel like a lying in front of several customers. In the end, after contacting trip, another employee at the reception (Spanish woman) treated me very well and solved the problem in 5 minutes, I don’t remember her name, but I’m sure many employees there can learn a little bit from her, that how to treat a customer with respect and professionalism..

When I said my air conditioner was broken and wanted it fixed, the staff said the repair would come at 11pm. However, when the time came, the repair person did not come, and the air conditioner was unusable.

It’s situated on a bit of an uphill so keep that in mind if you are carrying a heavy luggage. My body and face had a bit of a rashes using the pillows but it cleared up after a couple hours after I woke up. Pretty spacious for a family room as I booked for myself, my husband and my parents. They have a strict room cleaning timing as we told the lady that we will still need some time and to come back later but she never did. Would book here again if I am not sensitive to the pillows and the stay was memorable.

We weren't mugged or robbed—hooray for small victories! We did have a close encounter with a pickpocket, though. Some overly enthusiastic Maghrebi immigrant tried their luck on our first day, but they must have been new at the game. We walked away with all our belongings intact and a story to tell. In conclusion, Hotel Siru is your knight in slightly faded armor, offering a safe, clean, and friendly haven amidst the bustling streets of Brussels. Book your stay, and may your pockets remain as full as your stomach after sampling Brussels' finest treats!

Very close to metro station and city center, so it's super convenient. The historic decor of the building is quite an experience.
